Mikey drops Archers body by Col. Mendez as he slides in to take Shepherds spot." There you go, Colonel. He's all yours." As the body lands, it is easy to see a hole in the base of his skull where a large caliber bullet had struck. " Looks like a lucky shot to me." He adds, switching the TX-500 on single shot and firing up the hill.
His fire is replied to by an increased volley from at least a half dozen positions.

To Ellie; ''ellie help me get his equipment.'' i take out my vibro knife and cut the bullet out of his head and put it in a pouch.( since there was no exit wound i should be able to do this.) then after i collect his dog tags, and equipment, i vaporise his body right out of his armor with my wilks laser wand. this should only take a couple of actions. if you dont allow this i ask rhys to set a fusion block on him as a booby trap for the enemy.

(only if prior action wasnt allowed" rhys booby trap the body" i hand him a fusion block)

then i pack his stuff and give the order to follow shep.
" everyone move out, mikey take point. then me then ellie. rhys watch our six." i retreve my mini pc from ellie and i pull out my tracker and follow dysons signal.

Ellies helps the Col. get the Lts things as fast as possible cutting straps with her vibro blade and prying and pulling as need be. Afterwards she takes up position behind the Col.

Rhys looks to Col. Mendez "Sir I um hate to say this but I am not a demolitions expert. I apologize if someone gave you Information that I was." He looks to what's left of Archer's armor.

Mikey's railgun opens up with a long burst as he sweeps to the East. " Boss, whatever you're doing back there, hurry it up. Looks like they're trying to flank us so we can't follow the others." You can make out movement along the hillside heading in that direction. Anyone who used a scope to fire on them easily recognized them as Simvan Monster Riders. Watching the movement for a moment, you quickly realize that there are alot more than you had thought.

It would work, but as you said, it would be time consuming.

As long as you're keeping track, I haven't been.

He could , but nothing elaborate like someone with Demolitions could. He could still set a fusion block, tuck a pinless grenade under his arm, etc., no specialized skill is required to do these types of actions.

then i move and follow mikey and point out with the tracking device wich way to go.

"yes sir," Ellie leaves the straps of the armor intact as she stips the rest of his equipment. She also heals Rhys if he needs any.

Mendez "Sir the Pilot is still alive though he is hurt badly. Should we take action to recover him? Or should we report to base and have them send a search part to the location to recover him?" She knows what he's going to say even though she dread the fact of going out into the unknown. "Sir do we know the location of the heli crash? can you rind out where the last radio transmission was recieved from or should we just look for a pile or wreckage?

OOC: Do they still have black boxes that we try to recover??? Cause I'm pretty sure those send out a distress becons or something like that to find them.

Ellie takes a deep breath and closes her mind to her surroundings as shes done in training many times before. An exhales slowly pulling the trigger.

OOC: When Ellie has a clean shot at the simvan she takes it Single shot, called shot to the head

Another attacker goes down from Ellie's shot, which only seems to anger the Simvan even more. Mikey starts in the direction Col. Mendez points out, firing one last burst at the Simvan before heading south. " What about the others?" He motions up the creekbed as he crosses it quickly, laser fire from further down the bed missing over his head.

Nope, i meant the other group and that there is a large war band of Simvan making its way between them and this group, cutting you off from rejoining.

Mendez seeing the large group of simvan trying to cut us off changes tactics. he types in the becon frequency for the heli and points in that direction; " that way mikey,"

then he radios shep; " mother we have been delayed at the party, take the kids to see the bird man and we'll meet you there...over and out."

Mendez then takes a short burst to the lead simvan,

Mikey grumbles, starting south towards the direction indicated." Yessir. Shep'll find us." He glances back over his shoulder, ducking as another laser blast passes overhead. " C'mon Sarge, before you prove Shep right and get us all killed waiting for you."
