ooc: Gantry has a multi optic eye as well, I know it gives a plus one to strike, but didn't know it helped with perception.

As Mendez checks his tracker, he realizes that the tracer implant puts Dyson right on top of at signature, but before he could tell anyone, a lone figure in Coalition armor slowly rises from that position, quickly gaining the attention of all watching (OOC and partially throwing the need for the perc roll out the window  ). " What the hell?" Mikey mutters puzzledly, before shouting " Holy Shi..." he was cut off by the TX-500 stuttering to life (Tag- All) (GM Note- Thanks to Marcethus for relaying there was some confusion about the perc rolls, I think the second post on the GM notes thread should clarify any further questions, if not PM your questions to me) (GM note #2- Rhys and Ellie's perc rolls tell them that Mikey isn't firing on the CS figure, but on something that they saw move on the ground in a small depression out of the corner of their eye. The others aren't sure what he's firing on.) |

Ellie turns to where she saw something move. She begins scanning the area looking for movement. As she does so she begin preparing her mind for combat. "Sir," she says to Mendez "There is something out there..."

Rhys takes aim at what Mikey is shooting at and fires a burst from his CP-50 at the target as well.
(Strike=12+1 from WP+1 from Multioptic eye=14 total)
(Damage= 25 MDC)
As Rhys fires he zooms in on the target with his multioptic eye to get a better look at it*

mendez zooms in and takes aim at whatever mikey is firing at, but checks to see what it is before he shoots.

Mikey's burst , closely followed by Rhy's are replied to by a deep roar as a massive creature rises from it's ambush position, hidden on the forest floor. It swings it's massive crocidillian head towards its attackers, it's massive maw to answer the challenge.
Backing up slowly, Mikey gasps" That thing could swallow us whole, and come back for seconds."

Rhys aims his CP-50 and flips the selector to Grenade. Taking aim at the creatures open maw as it roars. He sights and fires.
(strike=19+2WP+1MOeye=22)
(damage=32 to a 12ft Diameter)
