As the the four make their way through the bush , a static-laden transmission burst across your comms " We ran into some bad apples and Mother is down ,but not out. We'll go bird watching if we can. out". Mikey snaps around to Mendez, but says nothing as he turns back to follow Rhys.
About every 5- 10 minutes Ellie checks on the pilot. seeing if there is any chage in his condition that needs to be noted.
The next time Ellie checks, the pilot has been moved, but is no longer alive

Ellie suddenly turns to Mendez "Sir, theres a problem... the pilot is dead and they've moved him... What actions should we take Sir?" The look on Ellie's face turns to sadness as she thinks of the pilot... After a moment of inner mourning for her comrade she straightens her posture and brings her face back to her normal nonchalant look.

Saddened by the news of the dead pilot. composes himself and says;" listen up people change of plans, the pilot is dead but the rest of the squad is still alive, we are changing direction to intercept the rest of our squad." *takes reading of Dysons position.* and says over radio" take mother (gives direction that will bring them on intercept with his group. with out giving coordinates.) we will meet you half way." to rhys;" new direction sarge." *points to new direction.* to all, once we find sheps group, we will proceed to look for any surviving members of the missing squad. then we will find the fallen bird and scuttle it. so lets goget our men people."

Mikey nods his approval, and suddenly stops. " Hold it! Something's coming." He motions towards the direction the group had been heading, and takes a defensive position against the trunk of a tree.

Rhys immediately takes cover upon hearing Mikey's warning weapon at the ready. Looking to see the approaching target he aims his cp-50 at it. Using my Telescopic function of my Multi-optic eye to see the target better.
(also depending on lighting conditions I will switch to Thermo-imaging or Passive Nightvision.)

After a few moments, the crashing gets louder and a form comes into view, and anyone watching instantly recognizes CS armor stumbling through the brush towards your position.

The man in armor stops, looks at the group, and says in a clear voice.
"Lieutenant T. J. Gantry"
He has his weapons pointed at the ground.
"Who the hell are you?"
He sees C.S. uniforms and knows them.
"Damn it man, do you know they are right behind me"
"If you guys are who I think you are lets get the hell out of Dodge and sort this out later."
He waits a couple more seconds, points to his rank and looks at them again.
"You are still in the service aren't you?"

Stepping from the Tree he looks to the Lt. "Sorry Lieutenant but your outranked by the Col. and who is behind you." Keeping his weapon raised and using the telescopic feature of his Multi-optic eye looking behind the Lt. Scanning for trouble.

"Sir, Name and Identification Number!" Ellie shout at the Lt. making sure everyone else keeps their guns trained on him she lowers hers and pulls out "mini-comp. " When he responds she seaches the data base for his file.

to sarge rhys;" sarge continue on heading, (gives heading of dyson unless it takes us right into the enemy. if so i detour us to our right.)

to the Lt.;" you next, then me and ellie."
to ellie;" keep the LT covered until you clear him private."
