The producer looks at the set-up. "Make sure that you have at least three redundancies at all times, in case we go live from this location, or need to send last-minute footage. And I will need a constant open line if the big-wigs need to suggest changes." He pats Kendall on the back as he heads to the next station. "This is just the beginning. Welcome to show business."
In a second, he was alone again... or was he? Or maybe he wasn't. "Or maybe he is... Oh right, narrator... Continue?" Said the voice behind the curtain.

"Oh. That would rock... except, we both use totally different music styles... Won't they suspect something, like cheating?" Daveris asks.

"Well, Daveris the easiest way is to turn around and go ask someone." With that she turns around and runs in heading towards the closest producer she can find. "I mean how can it be cheating." She halts after she thinks about it.
"OK, maybe it will not be as good an idea to ask to practice at night as they will probably not allow that, but another girl to practice with their routines, I do not recall seeing that rule to disallow that in the contracts we signed. It is up to you though, if you think it is risky, maybe we can go hang with that cute engineer guy as I think he might like you! Otherwise we can head to another area where we can practice. It is totally up to you!" She says with a wink.
Mei waits until her friend comes up with the decision.

Daveris looks at Kendall, then Mei. "He is cute. Buuuut... We can chat him up later. Let's go work!"

"Ok! If that is what you want then lets go." Mei then leads her to find an area in which they can work. She first starts with looking for an area that is large enough that dancers could preform or practice. She does not want to use a common area but if their are no other areas available she will do so.
Once an area is found she will start a routine something similar to one that Daveris needs to learn, starting with the dance routine only!

Daveris nearly fell over. "Wait, wait, wait. Slow done." She says, taking mental notes. "What music is this to? What style are you going for? My instructors told me to tell a story, but I can't see one, here..." She takes a sigh. "Am I overthinking this?"

"I think you are over thinking it. Why not hear the music in your head. Once you have it you line it up with what you want to accomplish. For example here is something I came up with for my mothers when they came to a recital I was having. The music in my head is Annie Lennox's No More I love you which I will sing and dance to as it is slow enough." She then starts to cut a little more loose not quite giving her best but a really damn good show.

"Something along like that is how I do it anyway." Mei then gauges Daveris's response, feeling that she is glad she held back a bit just in case if she saw what Mei is fully capable of. As it is Mei feels that Daveris is shakey on her skills and may rethink it. Regardless she thinks she made a friend!

Kendall nods at the producer and says, "I'll need to set up some more connections through CSTEL for what you want, but it shouldn't be a problem at all."
When the voice speaks he says, "Continue with what? That girl has gone off with her friend. She doesn't need me, and I got things to do."
Kendall begins working on what the producer asked for.

Daveris watched Mei quietly, looking more like she was lost in thought. "You know." She said after a minute. "I've always wanted to do more interpretive or dramatic. Would it be too... weird to try being a sparrow?" She says. "I mean, with the right music, going up and down and around."

"Right, sure." Charger said. "Just got to..." The curtain rustled. "Umm, got to get out of..." The curtain shifted a little. "Dammit GM, why didn't you put a door here?" He sighed, loud enough for Kendall, but apparantly didn't disrupt things.
After a second, the curtain moved completely, and Charger, still in his dashing red and black tights, nodded. "Good day to you." And walked up a wall out a window. (And not spidey-walking, but like it was the floor for him.)

Mei will sit back and watch Daveris's performance while checking her watch and schedule to see when next she is up. She also makes notes on her performance while observing.

(Both of these are for observations on Daveris.)
When she is done regardless of how she die unless she really does bad to point of complete and utter failure will applaud her on her steps. "Good for you, might need some work but we have time to practice. But for now we might want to get you a bite to eat. I have a feeling it is going to be a long afternoon."

Daveris certainly looked like a flock of sparrows. She was a little clumsy, but it looked like an idea she had toyed with for a while. After she was finished the sample routine, she paused and watched Mei intently. "You really think it could work?"
Kendall
While Kendall was getting the work done, he noticed a detective with a few uniformed officers talking to a security roady. After a few glances, the roady pointed towards Kendall.
"Hello Mr..." The detective consulted his note pad, his attempt at congeniality faltering a little since he had some burning questions. "'Mr. Kendall. Do you have a moment? We won't be long."

"I don't know to be honest?" She replies to Daveris. "We can only try, but I would recommend going over the routine several more times to get it down pat. Here let me try."
Mei then goes through and tries the dance routine based off pure observation.
Dance (Pro) - [dice=100]/75% I would half percentage for not knowing the routine at all but still looks like a pass!
If Daveris wants to continue the practice that is fine by her, if not she will say "We should prolly go relax and get you some food. Maybe even just unwind for the evening!"

I say take a chance, and if they boot me, then it'll be because I tried, and not because I quit." She grins. "A couple more runs and then we can get some food."

"OK that is cool with me." Is all Mei responds to Daveris. She hopes that she succeeds but still has a feeling considering how close she was to the line last time has a feeling she will not. But still there is hope in her eyes!

Kendall turns back to his work and to continue what he is doing but to also hide the scowl on his face. He wonders what the hell the police want from him now.

And so the pair set to practice in a quiet room, ad Daveris verbally works out how to be a Sparrow, and how to make it believable.

"Oh, this is a nothing meeting." THe detective said. "The last engineer was busted for passing off drugs to the dancers and the crew. Just doing a check of the space."
As the detective speaks, a drug sensor was coming in and out of Kendall's view. "You don't happen to have any with you, hmm?" He asks, trying to be cordial in the face of Kendall's obstinance.
