"I will assume you don't mean like a Dodge charger or a battery charger but some form of individual maybe. Unfortunately not as I am really new to town here. I only came down to try and win a prize and find a house and possibly a job down here. Might I ask who that is?"
Mei says thankful they did not push the issue, she is not sure what they will make of her if they found out she was the source of the field. She is thinking they would be grateful as they did say it did save lives but does not want to chance it!

Mei's response seemed to garner increased scrutiny from the other detective. "Miss Dryden, Charger is wanted in connection to the massive explosion in the Labrynth." He watched her every tick as he said this. "I'm sure you can guess why we'ld mention him here."

"Look it is not me! I am not this charger person you are looking for. I mean if I was would I not..." Grabbing the remote from his hand and pausing it when the field is up and she is in the frame, "be looking pissed off at the fact that all people are safe instead of Happy."
At this point Mei starts to panic feeling the fact she is boxed in. OH Man! What am I going to do. They seem to think I am this charger person and really I am not. Tears start to work down her face.....
"LOOK, I ADMIT IT! I CAUSED THE FORCE FIELD! BUT I AM NOT THIS CHARGER GUY." Mei pulls up her leg into the fetal position on the chair and sobs. "BESIDES CHARGER IS A BOYS NAME!!"

"No, we know you are not Charger, Miss Dryden." The second detective said, calmly, though not moved. "You are not being charged with anything. We just needed to know this little fact."
"We should say, though," Said the first detective, "That you should be very judicious about using your abilities in Century Station. If we find you have become a vigilante, we will need to treat you as a renegade and an outlaw. Alright?"

"I have no urge to be a vigilante, I just wanted to perform." She is still sobbing from this. "I mean this just happened to me while I was in school. Then with my mom's dying I just wanted to fulfill there wishes by following my dreams and came here."

Mei then breathes very deeply to gain composure. Takes a moment to gather herself before she speaks again.
"So for the next time say I do accidentally use my powers to save another life or multiple lives, is there something I should do so I am not considered a vigilante? Or is saving lives considered a criminal offense."
These guys are ASSES. I will be so glad to hit the pool and work off some frustrations!

The second detective didn't seem too moved by the response. Instead, he quietly slid a card in front of her - with the Centurions contact information. "It would only be for your protection, Miss Dryden. You have a good heart, and we would hate for you to get hurt for it."

"Thank-you, I will call them immediately after I hit the pool to work off my frustrations. If there is nothing else I do need to hit the pool!"
If there are no other answers she gets up and turns to heads out of the room and heads to the pool!
Once the door is shut she mumbles to herself under her breath "ASSES!" Before heading off to meet Daveris at the pool!

After reviewing the moment in her mind so much that her exit seemed to happen twice, Mei nearly plowed through the door to the pool. It was a little busy, since the other peformers didn't have much to do. They were chatting a lot about the police interviews.

Mei looks and sees how busy it is and decides to head straight for a sunny patch. You know in my state I am not sure I could handle all of this. I know I will just stay quiet, only talking to Daveris and hopefully ignoring the rest of those gossip mongers!
Mei is even to upset to notice if onlookers look at her or not. But will stay in the sun just to soak it up and make her feel better. Only speaking with Daveris if she speaks to her.

The rest of the day included sun and idle chitchat of one kind or another.
Within the evening, they were told to rest up, sleep well and be ready for the next day, when they were going to restart.

Mei gets a good nights sleep rising with the sun so she can soak up as much solar powers as she possibly can. To that end she dresses and heads down to the Patio to work on her routine so that she can get the best of both worlds. When she is pleased with both her performance and energy levels she heads upstairs to clean up and get dressed for the performance. When she is satisfied with all it preparedness she makes her way to the performance area!

Mei gets her call to go on stage. There were grumblings about having no telecom, but that at least it wasn't live. Something about needing a new engineer.
"OK, miss Mei Li." Says one of the judges. "Show us what you have."

Mei walks up to the stage and turns on the cd of music to sing too. She waits for her cue in the song and starts to sing with it. All the while going through a mezmerizing dance routine. When it reaches the high beat point where no singing is involved, Mei breaks into a more hardcore dance routine that involves flips, ballet and other forms of dancing imported in to one style. She does her best to show what she can do in the short time she was given!
