"That would be awesome. Lets grab my car and go."
Mei looks around and finds someone in charge of the show and says, "Seeing the show is probably not going to continue today we were just going to take off and go shopping. You have our cells if you need us and we will be back at the hotel tonight."
Then turns back to Daveris and says lead the way, we prolly should hit a clothing store though considering what we are wearing. Mind you wearing this around town might get us some amusing looks!"

The producers looked over at Mei, then Daveris, then the whole group of performers. With a sigh, the producer says, "Make sure everyone signs out before they leave, and do a bed check tonight, just to make sure." He says to the rest.
After that process was well underway, Mei and Daveris headed off to the nearest mall, the Spendamonium. 3 floors of this, that, the other thing and Sears.

"Well beside something to wear, my primary concern is finding a permanent place in town. I mean I will not be staying at the hotel once the show is done. So how about we start by hitting a clothing store and get something to shop in, and then hit the real estate office. You live here in town right so can help me steer to the right area."
Mei then steers them into the first trendy place she finds for clothes to pick something to accent her looks to use at the real estate office. As she enters she will wait for help.

As Mei puts on and then buys the outfit that Daveris helped choose.
"This looks perfect, shall we go down to the realtor now?"
Mei follows Daveris who knows the mall way better than she does, not being a shopper and being new to the city. While travelling with Daveris she makes small talk. "So who do you think is going to win. I mean you act is totally awesome and you so deserve to win."

"Oh, I hope I win." Says Daveris. "But you know how it goes. Even if you don't win, if you rock the stage, you still get work, you know? I want to move to the music industry. Do choreography for video, so I'm thinking either way, I win, right? I'ld just win more if I have the money."
When they make their way to a mall store advertising realestate, owned and rented, Daveris looks it over, letting Mei browse herself. Under her breath, Daveris chants a "nope, nope, nope," as she looks through what's offered.

"You are right about that if we are at least spotted that would be awesome. I mean this was my dream and if my mom's were still alive they would be here too supporting me all the way!"
Mei looks up and down the board as well. She has no idea where these places are so she is more looking at a combination of niceness and price.

Note - Any good finds she comes across she will review with Daveris before moving in to see the Realtor about it. She would prefer to buy but if a rental that she absolutely can not refuse comes up she will go for that as well. Her ultimate goal is 300,000 to spend tops so she has leftovers for reno's if needed, furniture, and heck just having money left.

Mei gets 10 top choices to pick from, ranging from dirt-cheap in the nicer parts of town, to higher-quality in the almost-slums. Daveris's knowledge of the good and bad neighbourhoods allowed for a number of possibilities.

Mei turns to Daveris. "We will have to go over these later on tonight. Why not head in get all the Data and arrange for showings and such after the contest unless you have some suggestion. Should we head back or is there somewhere you wish to go?"
Mei will collect all the data from the real-estate office to look on-line on her laptop later if need be.

House listings are available online, says the clerk. She points out the reference numbers for Mei to use so she can find them more easily.
Daveris shrugs. "I guess we should check in." She says. "I don't want to get cut out because they changed the local on us."

Mei heads back to the hotel with Daveris with there shopping bags in tow.
"Now what are we going to do tonight while there?" Making small talk all the way.

Daveris shrugged. "I've got to call my parents for sure. They're going to be freaked."
As they pulled into the hotel, it looked like there was still some kind of media scrum there. Daveris pointed out a back entrance that allowed them to get in unhindered.
When Mei made it back to her own room, she found an envelope was slid under the door, with just her name on it.

Mei takes a moment to set aside all the items she bought on the bed before scooping up the envelope. She glances at it checking everything on it before she opens it up reading/seeing whatever is inside it. She is especially curious and notes what name is on the envelope.
(OOC - Kristi is her legal name but since the deaths of her mothers she uses Mei except when it comes to legal doc's)

Inside was a scribbled note about a new schedule, to resume in a couple of days. There was a map to a new location.
