Alice looks alarmed when Beth reveals that Wraith had been released from prison. "That's not good at all." Fighting the urge to yell at Beth, Alice takes a deep breath and says in a measured tone of voice, "If you find out news like this again, please tell me, Beth. It's important that I know this stuff." Shaking her head, she asks, "Where is this bigger show in town? We should check it out."

Sylwia seeing the text follows suit for caution taking the other side and changing herself to her light form. She does leave the shield down as a just in case so if needed she can charge in. She herself takes a counterclockwise circular pattern to cover anything that Calvin may have missed.

"I thought you would have seen it in the paper." Beth replied sheepishly. "It was on page three. As dog eared as yesterday's paper was this morning, I thought everyone had seen it."
"Sorry, that was my fault." Avi said. "Hornet got in."
"Uh Alice, I think Beth means Wraith over Lodestone." Jason said softly, trying not to make things worse. "Yes Tom, Wraith means you'll get to punch some bad guys, if we can get him to stay solid. In fact you can punch him a lot if you get chance.
Beth nodded.
"Wraith will bide his time, but we'll hear from the creep soon enough. Let's deal with Lodestone first." Jason suggested.
Ashley scowled at Isamu's self doubt. "Before we left, you were an important part of this team." She turned to Alice as she cradled Himari in her arms, " Alice, who would you sooner have with you after this magnet guy? Isamu and his stone abilities or me losing control worrying about this little monkey?"
"Can I vote?" Jason asked, drawing a dirty glare from Ashley.

Calvin and Sylwia soon discovered they were not the only ones interested in the junkyard Lodestone had been sighted at. As they made their perimeter flights, they could see a pair of drones were stationed to watch down on the area Just as the pair were about to cross paths, below they could see a haggard looking man with a long beard step into view looking up at one of the drones.
The drone suddenly shuddered in place. All the metallic components inside shot out of the plastic body in random directions , shredding it before it fell from the sky.
As it happened, the other drone dropped altitude and began to retreat towards the park to the south.

Calvin motions to Sylwia to follow him, and he flies away out of sight of the junkyard. He taps on his bandaidio and reports "Paladin here. Syl and I saw someone's drones doing recon at the junkyard - a bearded guy stepped out and - seemingly - shredded one of the drones using a power of some sort. We've fallen back - as did the other drone."

"Alright, magnetic hillbilly first." Tom nodded. "So, where do we start? Does he have any female cousins in town? Or maybe we should look for a Ted Nugent concert?"

Sylwia seeing the signal and noting what happened pulls back and lets Calvin radio in. She does not actually join in the radio part, "I imagine they will definitely want us to stay back for now." She says to him as she scans the best they can from the area they moved too.

Alice nods at Beth and says, "I understand. In the future, please inform me anyway. I would rather hear the news twice than be blindsided like this again."
Turning to Ashley, Alice shakes her head. "I'm not getting in the middle of this. You're both valuable teammates. Also, for the record, I think no matter which one of you came along with us, you would still worry about the little one. We need to get going shortly, so please decide and join the rest of the team when you're ready."

Ashley nodded to Alice, then turned back to Isamu, “Go play. We’ll be fine here with Beth keeping tabs on all of you. Only for this time, after the little monkey adjusts, I figure Sierra will want to play nanny.” She gave Isamu a kiss on the cheek.
As Paladin checked in, Beth tapped her tablet, “Copy that, ground team is departing now.” She looked at Tom, “Could you do something like that?” She kept tapping at her tablet, “Alice, I’ll see if I can get a lead on who else is keeping tabs on this guy.”
Jason and Avi were already heading for the garage.

As they pulled back, the guy in the junkyard went back inside. On their quick scan, they did notice all buildings on site had metal siding.
Whoever was piloting the other drone was making a wide circle around the junkyard, and would soon pick Sylwia and Calvin up on camera.

Alice smiles at Isamu. "I'll see you in the garage then when you're ready." Turning to Tom, she nods, "Yes, we're going to check this guy out to see what's going on." Alice then heads to the garage so they can head out.

"Should we hide or move away or let the drine.....dreen....dorne...that thing," She says trying to remember the word drone in English. "The trântor." She says using the Romanian word even though Calvin used it not a few moments ago.

Ashley waved for Alice to go, " Don't wait for us. Besides, we just got home. You guys got this." However, when she turned, Ashley was giving Isamu a stern look.
Jason had looked back as Ashley spoke, and turned towards the garage again and walked a bit faster. He spoke under his breath, "I've seen that look before, we need to go now."

While Cal and Sylwia maintained surveillance, things had gone quiet in the area. The remaining drone stopped circling, focused on the yard, and actually lowered its altitude as if focused on something.

Tom wheels himself to the car. "Alright, I'm ready to go. Do we have a plan, or just hitting? I'm good with either, for the record - I don't judge."

Isamu, shakes himself out of his stupor, and leans in and gives Ashley a quick kiss on the cheek, "you are right, I am sorry I hesitated. I will see you soon my love," he whispers to her, before turning quickly and running to catch up with the others.
He reaches the vehicle and says, "I am sorry for my reluctance. It has been an adjustment, and trying to come back I fear may be yet another adjustment on my part. I am ready to join you though Alice, if you will have me."

Sylwia not sure what to do waits to see what Calvin recommends but does continue to monitor the entire area. She does not know much about the technology and only about what she sees before her eyes. Still she makes an analysis, "You think one has powers with magnets?" She asks trying to think of the word in English and ironically coming with the correct word as it is the same.
