Nearly two months had passed since the team had thwarted the 7th Calvary's plans. Mac had agreed to let them take some downtime while he made some arrangements for them and allowed Tom and Kristian (who was taking courses to upgrade from paramedic to nursing) a chance to finish out their semesters, and Avi had returned home to Texas to deal with some family issues. It also gave everyone a breather in case there was any fall out from the Cav or the Navy, neither of which happened. He also hinted there was something else, but everyone had learned MacColter was not known for sharing until he was ready.
Ryne came to visit, bringing a flight simulator for the HSUVs so everyone got a chance to learn to drive/fly them if they wanted. After a long and heated argument, Alison and Trevor broke up and she left with Ryne to go with her brother Raig on the west coast team. After some soul searching and long conversations, Trevor said goodbye a week later to be with Alison.
Long was recalled by the police department, and called three days later to show off his new detective's badge.
Gabe also departed, leaving a note on the table that he needed some time, and he would be in touch once he found himself.
On the other hand, Beth took a leave of absense from her reporter job, and officially joined as a support member of the team as their communications officer.
It was late Saturday afternoon and a bit of a celebration was on the agenda. Both Tom and Kristian had received the results and had passed their semester courses, and Jason had used it as an excuse to order out enough chinese food for a high school football team. When questioned, he merely got a mischevious look on his face and shrugged before replying, "I couldn't decide." It was also suspicious that he was texting with someone, but would not tell anyone who.
"Hey guys, we expecting company?" Beth asked, watching the security camera feed . "There's a taxi just pulling up. Why did a taxi have today's access code to get in the gate anyways?"
Jason's stupid look on his face merely got worse.

As the driver stopped, he got out and opened the passenger side door. A passenger stepped out and adjusted her sunglasses with one hand before taking a deep breath and smiling. She turned and looked at the other passenger just getting out, "Miss the place?" She asked she reached back in and pulled out a carseat that she she quickly set down and scooped the tiny pink bundle out.
Ashley smiled as the driver began u loading their luggage, "Isamu, you want me to get someone to come help with the bags?" The trunk was plugged solid.

Tom celebrated his passing grades with a workout. First he performed physical therapy on his legs - fairly easy using his magnetic powers to move his braces and help with his therapy. After that, he worked on his upper body with free weights and machines.
A quick shower later, he rolled to find the others. "Hey, what's up?"

Isamu steps out of the taxi and then stops and looks up at the house. He pauses and takes it all in realizing how much he really did miss it and everyone here. Looking at Ashley as she picks up their daughter Himari and cradles her in her arms he can't stop the smile that sprouts on his lips.
"I did miss it, more than I realized until this moment," he says looking back up at the building. Then back at her he says, "I would say no to the help, however I know how you pack, some help would be welcome," he says with a teasing smile that he hadn't been able to pull off before he met Ashley. Looking at the two most important people in the world to him, he thinks about how much his life has changed since meeting Ash. He walks up to her and wraps her in his arms giving her a warm hug.

Happy to get a chance to relax, Alice raises an eyebrow at the mountain of food Jason ordered wondering what he was up to. However, when Beth announces whoever was in the taxi knew the access code, Alice says, "Who is it Jason? Who would you give the access code to?"

Sylwia herself was outside at the time. She did not leave the property much as she remembered a time when she was different and not wanting to risk anything mostly stayed there. Her penchant for the other thing she did was also another reason for not going anywhere. Seeing people she had never seen before she decides to walk up and ask, "I not see you here before." She says with her accent. "Did you need help with your things?" She asks

Ashley chuckled after leaning into the inviting hug, "You know it was hugs like those that led to this little troublemaker in the first place, right?" She giggle, then turned to the woman approaching.
"I've never seen you here before either, but we've been away for a while." The woman with the car seat replied politely. " Um, sure, you can help if you want to take the car seat for me." She smiled. "I'm Ashley, and this is Himari and that's my better half Isamu. Have you been here with the team long?"
(Inside)
Jason gave a guilty shrug as he was questioned, "I know who is in the cab, but I didn't give anyone the access code." His smile widened as he motioned to the monitor, where a familiar couple and Sylwia were talking in the driveway. " Good timing Tom, we can all say hi together." He turned and looked behind him, "Hey, Calvin. Some folks here you need to meet.We'll be working together."
As she saw, Sierra let out a delighted squeal and took off for the door without them.

Isamu smiles at the new comer. When Ashley introduces him he gives a polite nod, "greetings. Thank you for the offer."
He turns to the cabbie and helps him haul the bags our of the car and then pays the fare and gives him a generous tip. He says to him, "thank you for everything."
He then tries to sort out the bags to figure out how to get them into the house.

She smiles, "Hello. I am Sylwia and I have been with the team short time now." She says and even though her English has still improved there are some things she slips up on. "OK you be Ashley, Isamu and Himari. Okies." She said standing there.

Alice asks Jason, "If you didn't give our visitors the code, how did they get it?" It's clear that Alice isn't angry at Jason, but that she's worried about a possible security breach. Glancing over at the monitor, Alice is surprised to see Ashley and Isamu. "Oh, it's Ashley and Isamu. They went on a leave of absence from the team after Ashley got pregnant. Looks like they're back in town."

Jason smiled and shook his head, "Not just back in town. They 're home." He looked at Tom and stuck out his tongue. "I'll leave the baking to Sierra, thank you." Jason was clearly in a good mood, though it soured as he glanced at the front page of the morning paper, "Tom,you didn't go out last night, did you? It doesn't sound like something you would do, but..., " He shrugged as he turned around the paper so Tom could see an article headline,

The driver was out of breath from lifting the bags from the trunk, but smile gratefully as he accepted the tip.
Ashley smiled, "We were here in the beginning, but had to take a leave with this little one on the way." She replied, letting Sylwia get a closer look at the baby girl who looked very much like her mother. " The house is still standing, so I guess things haven't been too crazy."
From the house came a squeal as Sierra acted very unlike herself, and rushed up to see Ashley and Himari, "Oh she is so cute!"
"You say that now, but screaming at three AM you won't think so." Ashley replied
Kristian approached Isamu and gave him a pat on the back, "Welcome home mon." He grunted as he picked up one of Ashley's bags.,'

Tom immediately ripped the paper out of Jason's hand. "Uh...no, but I'm interested in finding out now!" He read the article, looking for any clues.

Isamu nods and smiles at the driver and bids him goodbye, turning to Sierra as she runs up to the baby and then Kristian he smiles, "it is good to be home."
As Kristian hefts one bag he starts to grab the next one and looking up at the house begins to move towards it.

Alice smiles at Jason. "Ah ok. That's good." Pausing for a second, Alice says, "I should make some tea!" Alice then starts to boil water in the kettle and gets a container of loose leaf tea leaves and gets the tea ready so they'll all have something to drink.

Sylwia herself steps aside and lets whatever is unfolding in front of her happen as obviously they are known and her ability and toleration of the extra they brought is not a factor she has yet to test with her boundaries. She does however grab some bags t help carry it in.
