Calvin heard the car pull up, and grabbed his crutches, making his way to the front to see what the commotion was. When he sees the three he doesn't recognize pull up he falls in line after Sylwia to introduce himself. He reaches up to shake their hands. "I'm Calvin... I came on with Syl here. Pleased to meet you."
When he sees Himari, he smiles widely. "Hey there, kiddo. I'm Cal." Calvin loved kids, but has never considered having one - any child of his would be at high risk of having numerous health issues, and he wasn't sure how or if his powers would translate to a child. Still, he relished the chance to play "Uncle Calvin" whenever it arose.
In the commotion of the family entering and getting situated, Calvin ambles over to Tom and Kristian in turn, and congratulates the pair of them on their good grades. "Well done, both of you."

" Nice to meet you both." Ashley replied,l smiling is the baby cooed at the attention from Calvin. " You two must've filled our roster spots when we left ." She added, glancing at Isamu, a hint of guilt in her tone.
With the extra help, the bags were dragged in the side entrance and taken to their room, which was left exactly as it was when they had decided to leave. " I guess we're going to need a few things now ." Ashley said as she dropped everything.
"Make a list. Kristian and I will get." Sierra offered. "Go see the others in kitchen."

"Easy Tom!" Jason reacted as the paper was torn away from him. He turned to Alice, a bit puzzled as he steped in behind her. He wrapped his arms around her as kissed her neck, "Are you mad at me? Ashley and I thought you would like the surprise."
Kristian smiled at Calvin, "Thanks."
""What little surprise?" Ashley asked as they entered the kitchen area, big smile on her face. "Miss us? Say hi to auntie Alice." She said, holding out the little bundle to Alice once her hands wer free.
Avi came in and stood behind Sylwia , "Team meeting?"

Isamu smiled seeing everyone together, even the new people. He was glad to be back amongst their friends. Ashley's family was nice, but it was still nice to be home. He had to admit to himself he wasn't surprised or even upset at the idea they may have replaced them Keeping Ashley and their daughter safe was the most important things to him.
He says his hello's to everyone shaking hands and telling them about their time away.
"It is nice be back," he says to the kitchen full of people.

Alice pats Jason's hand and replies, "I'm not mad. I'm just not as big a fan of surprises as I used to be, though this is a nice one." When everyone else comes into the kitchen, Alice smiles at Ashley and Isamu and says, "Welcome back." Taking the baby, Alice smiles at her and says, "It's nice to finally meet you." Looking over at Tom, Alice asks, "What's not good?"

"What's wrong Tom?" Avi asked as concern was raised,
As Tom read, the article described the perpetrator a lone male, fifty-ish with a wild grey beard and hair to match. He was reported wearing work boots and stained blue coveralls and spoke with a deep south accent.
Jason watched Alice with the baby before giving Ashley a welcome home hug, "I told you we could surprise them. Looks like Tom is trying to plan a welcome back party. " He looked to Calvin, "Might need a little scouting here, if you're up for a flyby that area?"

"...Apparently there's some weird out there that people think could be me? And now I really, really want to find out about it." Tom handed Avi the paper. "Wait, what's this about a party? And planning? I'm sorry I was a bit distracted." Tom tried to smile.

Calvin hobbles over to look at the newspaper. "Drunk... flying steel, so probably real strong... leaping or flying..."
He nods. "Yeah. I'm in." He sets his crutches aside and transforms into his Paladin form, immediately gaining height, muscles, and an aura of power he had not had moments before.
"Let's do it."

Alice looks over Tom's shoulder at the newspaper and frowns, "How could they think that? You don't look like you're 50 nor do you have grey hair or a beard." Looking over at Calvin and then at Tom, Alice nods, "Ok, look into it. Let me know what you find out." Looking over at Beth, Alice asks, "Can you please check on the computer for any records for this guy?"

Isamu walks up to Ashley and puts an arm around her as they watch the team make plans and sort out what to do. He raises an eyebrow at the contest of the news article, but doesn't say anything. He tries to just stand to the side as the team jumps into action.

"Lodestone." Avi said flatly, looking at the others. " I remember Trevor saying something about that crazy bastaard was back in town. Hoped he had just pushed through town, but this sounds just like him."
"Never really tangled with him before, "Jason said, "but the magnetic attack and description of drunken redneck fits. Shit."
"Yup" Avi agreed. "Tom, you may have to sit thid onr out. Titan Tom against a human magnet could be bad."

"Uhm...do you guys keep forgetting I'm magnetic too? Or do I have to erase all your hard drives to remind you?" Tom asked. "So what's the story with this guy, other than "Magnetic Drunken Hobo?", which by the way, is so going to the name of my Techno-Folk-Rock Band."

Alice rolls her eyes at Tom and replies, a little annoyed by his tone, "Ummmm.. no I didn't forget you have magnetic powers. What I wasn't aware of was your ability to make yourself look like a 50 year old man with a beard and southern accent." Alice hands the baby back to Isamu and Ashley and crosses her arms under her chest. "I've never heard of this guy, that's why I want Beth to look him up in our records."

Sylwia herself had been in the background. She was one of the newer people in the team so did not have the bond that the others did and also with a child there it was a bit more of an issue. Were she in her old state of mind she would of left or perhaps even killed just so she did not have to worry about hearing it scream.
Now as a person not evil there was the still the problem of not really liking children and not really sure how or wanting to deal with. Staying in the background seemed the most logical of options.

"Tom, that tin skin of yours makes you an easy target for Lodestone." Jason pointed out. "Let us go take a peek. Beth should be able to find out everything but his last meal, he's been around for a while, but not here."
Ashley let Isamu take their little one as she smiled and rubbed her hands together. "Right back to work. Perfect."
Avi looked at Syl with an arched brow. He said nothing, but it was clear he picked up something from her.
