"We were warned coming in you were mutants." The one paramedic replied. "Someone from the mainland arranged things with our dispatch, but honestly you two are totally different than anything we've seen."
"What... Isamu, I'm confused." Ashley admitted, clearly frustrated. "This Osaku, He abducted me? Look, I'll be okay, let's just go back to my parents."
"Miss, at least go to the hospital so they can check that the baby is okay." One of the paramedics suggested.
Her eyes went wide, and Ashley looked at him for a moment, then turned her attention to Is. " I... okay. Do my parents know? "

Isamu looks at Ashley, "your father overheard my battle with Osaku. So he does know, however I asked him to not tell your mother, to let you do it." He pauses and taking her hand he says, "Tim was able to completely confuse you. I was fearful I would not get through to you."
He then looks at the paramedic, "I am sorry for my earlier demeanor. I did not know how much you had been told. What do you mean we are different than what you have seen," he asks now tilting his head in confusion.

"And he... Daddy didn't flip?" Ashley was clearly shocked. She laid back on the stretcher, looking at Isamu, puzzled.
The paramedic nodded," We've seen others that are more than human. We sort of get the calls for it because, well..." The first medic said, then glanced at the second.
"Thanks asshole." The driver scowled, then looked at Isamu, We get called because of me popped in Isamu's mind.

With the mind speak he nods, "we have someone that works with us with similar abilities. You have no need to fear us knowing."
Isamu then turns to and responds to Ashley, "your father was more understanding than you would think. When we get to their home I think we need to sit down and have an honest and frank conversation. Place everything on the table."

The paramedic did not look convinced, but he nodded. " She's conscious and stable, so we'll leave you two alone in the back. Shout up to the front if you need us." Tthe door closed and soon they were moving again.
Ashley looked at Isamu, obviously more nervous about telling her family than going to be checked out at the hospital. "Is, I can't do that. How do I explain to Mom and Dad that I have a bug collection under my skin that turns me into Bigfoot's nasty cousin? Oh by the way, I turn into a mindless brute when I change, and you and whoever else is around have to make sure I don't hurt my friends in a blind rage. You get them to accept that and you might as well shoot the moon and try to get Dad to give you his blessing.

Isamu thanks the paramedics for their help and understanding.
When Ashley speaks he shakes his head, "I do not know how I could go about shooting the moon. However, all the rest of your statement is already done."
He says, "Ashley, we have to keep secrets due to the work we do, however I believe its time your family, you and I talk and open everything. All secrets need to end."

Ashley hesitated, then nodded as she held Isamu's hand in hers. "All right. We tell them everything, as soon as we get back home. And thenwe hope no one needs an ambulance." She smirked.
Ten minutes later, they were at the hospital. Ashley was taken into see a doctor fairly quickly, and before long a pediatrics specialist was with them. The doctors were hesitant when Ashley openly told them she was a meta even before they saw her symbiotes, but they proceeded. After a thorough examination, the last doctor left them alone in the exam room. "You should call mom and dad so they know everything is okay."
The doctor returned and sat down. "Well Ashley, I have to tell you that you are the most unusual patient I have had the pleasure of treating. Your ribs are bruised, but it doesn't look like anything is broken. And all three heartbeats seem strong, though it is very early."

Isamu says to Ashley, "we will contact your parents after we speak with the doctors and know you are going to be ok."
When the Doctor comes in, Isamu stands there and listens. He raises an eyebrow when the doctor says 3 heartbeats. In his mind he wonders if the doctor is picking up the 3 symbiotes, or if Ashley is having 3 babies, or did the doctor mean her heartbeat plus two children. The possibilities seemed quite complicated.
He asks, "She will be ok?"

"Three?" Ashley asked in astonishment. "Twins? Doc, are you sure?" She looked at Isamu in shock.
"The third might be an echo, it is very early on to tell." The Doctor replied. "And your physiology is so unique that it make it difficult to tell. You are fortunate to have such a strong natural healing ability, most people taking a blunt trauma like you did would have seriously complicated things and done a lot of damage. But from what I see, you two are free to go."
Ashley sat up with a smile, "Best news tonight." She said. As the doctor left, she turned around so the hospital gown's loose ties revealed her bare behind through the shirt tails, "I suppose you want me to keep this?" She chuckled.

Isamu tilts his head as he looks at Ashley from behind. He smirks and says, "perhaps we should inquire to see if they have more than one."
He then does come around to stand in front of her, "I have never been so afraid of losing you as I was tonight. I do not care if we are having 3 children or none at all, as long as I am with you."

"No point trying to butter me up now," Ashley said as she turned to face Isamu, "you have to explain to my parents what you've gotten me into." She chuckled and rubbed her stomach instinctively. "You know we have a serious problem. I can't keep myself in check during the moon cycle as it is, and expecting mothers tend to have wild mood issues. I may be spending lots of time in containment for everyone's safety."
Slowly she got dressed, showing no signs of things to come as there was no modesty as she slipped on her clothes. "We need to talk to the others in Miami. I don't think they will be too keen on raising kids in the beach house."

Isamu watches Ashley with an appreciative smile. He says to her, "perhaps we should consider finding a place here. The others can have Miami and the beach house."
"As far as a what you say may be a problem, together we have overcome any problem that has come our way. This will be no different. We will get through together."

Isamu smiles at Ashley, "I will be happy wherever you are my love. However, I cannot help but think of the work we do in Miami and wonder if having children around that environment is what would be best for them."
He waves his hands around, "I just fear that is not the best place for our family. Here we would have your family to help. There we have what? A mayor who may or may not be an ancient spirit that may or may not want revenge on my family? People who can barely get along well enough to be in the same room together let alone work together, all living together in the same house."
He pauses a moment and looks at her to see her reaction, but after a moment of silence he says, "never mind," waving a hand in front of him, "just thought that have come to me since finding out we will be starting our family. Since I have met you all I have wanted is to be with you, keep you safe and make you happy. Now that there are children involved my mind is just racing. Let us just get back to your parents home as their is much to discuss with them," he says holding up her shirt so she can change out of the gown.

"I am certain you and I can protect our child from whatever comes our way, and if he need help I would sooner have our friends at our backs than my parents" Ashley replied, showing no modesty as she dropped her gown to the floor standing directly in front of Isamu and paused bare chested a moment before putting on her clothes on. Once ready to go, an orderly waited with a wheel chair to push Ashley out, but she waved off the orderly off and said, "Please, he will push me out. We will leave it at the front door."
The orderly thought for a moment, then nodded.
Once they exited the building, Ashley cursed when she saw their ride. Sitting on the hood of her parents jeep was her brother with a huge grin, "Hiya BooBoo, Dad says your pet haole got you knocked up."
"Just let me kill him." Ashley growled.
