When the team briefing broke up, Ashley and Isamu had enough time to say some goodbyes before a horn barked out front, their taxi idling to take them to their flight.
Once in the cab and on their way, Ashley turned to Isamu and was quickly wrapped around him in a passionate kiss. when she broke away, she spoke softly,"I can't beleive we're doing this." She sounded almost giddy.

Isamu smiles as he closes his arms around Ashley. "I am very glad we are. I am looking forward to it immensely. Do not be surprised though if I have a hard time returning. Leading the team has been a very big strain. I made so many mistakes, I mean look what happened to December because of what I said to her," he says looking sad.
"I never wanted the mantle of leadership or the responsibilities that come with it. I feel so much pressure due to it. My decisions putting others at risk," he says shaking his head. "I am glad that Alice has come back. I am also very glad you decided to leave things to them, and that we will be gone," he says kissing her, and then adds, "and that we are together," he says before another much longer kiss.

"I love Trevor like a little brother, but I don't think there's much I could have done to help that he won't get from Long. He was there for Trev when he needed help most, and I think they'll stick together." Ashley replied as the kiss was released. " I do want you to give up this self doubt routine though, it kills the mood. You wouldn't have been chosen with Alice to lead if you weren't capable. And you're going to make mistakes, you aren't infallible. When I was with Tyler's group, he made mistakes all the time. He just learned from them and didn't make them again." she smirked. " Your new assignment to learn how to lead is to lead me to a good time while we're home."

Isamu smiles, "I will do my best to fulfill my new assignment," he says while copping a feel and giving her another kiss.
He decided to make a concerted effort for the remainder of their trip to not give the team another thought until they returned. He had left his band-aidio and cellphone in the top drawer of his dresser at home.

The cab driver gave the pair an odd look in the mirror as Ashley let out gasp in a bit of a surprise. she pulled back a bit from Isamu and gave his hand a playful slap." Have you been reading my 50 Shades books?"

Isamu arches an eye brow, he remembered the book from her night stand, and he had often seen her reading it. She always seemed more amerous after she read a few chapters. He says,
"I did not read your books, should I have," he asks her genuinely confused.

"Not until I'm done with it, I don't want the pages to stick together."Ashley chuckled. "It might give you some ideas though."she hinted.
The cab driver let out a bit of a snicker, but Ashley ignored him as she slid back close to Isamu. "Is it wrong that I'm more nervous than I am excited about going home?"

"What can I do to calm your nerves my love? Once we will arrive, I promise I will do my very best to not uh... upset the boat," he says with a look she had seen before, that of him trying to make sure he used the idiom correctly.
"I know that it may be difficult to be accepted by everyone in your family. I will try my best to be likeable," he says while pulling her in for a hug.

"Just be yourself and things will go well." Ashley replied as she snuggled in under Isamu's embrace.
The cab turned a corner and the airport was visible ahead. The driver pulled up to the front entrance, and stopped. Ashley handed a credit card to the driver, then gave Isamu a push, " Come on, get out. I'm not carrying the bags."

Isamu rose one eyebrow at Ashley, he had not intended for her to carry bags, so he is unsure why she would say that.
He climbs out of the cab and says, "it is your vacation you do not have to carry the bags. I will make sure they all get to plane," He climbs out of the cab and begins to unload the bags from the trunk of the taxi while Ashley sorts out payment with the cabbie.
After they are all on the sidewalk (not sure how many the gm has decided there will be) he waits for her to finish and get out.

Isamu soon found out why Ashley worried about her bag as he went to lift it. "I know I'll have to pay overweight charges, but I wanted to take some stuff home." The two bags had to weigh close to 100lbs each.
The cabbie got them a bag cart and then pulled away once everything was unloaded. Ashley looked at Isamu and smiled," I checked us in online, just need to load out bags."
The airport was full of people, but Isamu didn't recognize any faces.

Isamu realizing how heavy the bags were, almost turned to his stone form to move them and then though better of it. He dragged the bags with much difficulty out of the car and when the cart was provided, got them on with the help of the cabbie. He says, "I do hope someone will be there to meet us when we arrive," looking at the bags he says, "many someones."
He gets behind the luggage cart and says, "lead the way my love."
When she walks forward Isamu begins to push the heavy bag along with her. He says, "I thought MacCoulter arranged for our travels."

"He did. Everything is prebooked, and he authorized going over my limit on my account card. You didn't think I was paying for this myself, did you?" She replied, then gave Isamu a look of suprise," Do you need some help with my bags? I've been collecting stuff my brothers asked for from the mainland for a while, but never got around to shipping it. Is it too heavy for you?" She asked with a bit of concern as they reached the baggage check.
The clerk gave them each an odd look, but when Ashley handed their ticket printout to the clerk, she nodded and said, " Please load them on the conveyor one at a time."

Isamu nods at her description of the trip planning. He shakes his head, "the bags are heavier than I would expect travel bags to be, however I can handle them."
When they get to the counter, he decides to do something he never does, and tease Ashley. Standing in front of the counter, he stretches and makes a big exaggerated show of preparing before lifting one bag and putting it on the conveyor. "I believe this one is just shoes. You may need to mark it as heavy," he says to the clerk with a smile on his face.
The second bag he just lifts, carefully more worried for the handles of the bag then himself. (he does have a ps of 15, so he may strain, but tis doable for him, no?)

The baggage counter clerk just looked at Isamu, then arch a brow as an alarm went off. Ashley spoke up," I already paid the surcharge for oversized baggage. IT should be on the ticket."
The counter clerk smiled, " Yes, I see that you did, just not used to the alarm going off. Have a nice flight."
Once free of the suitcases, ashley took Isamu's hand as they started to walk. Once by themselves, she spoke quietly, " Sorry, I could have warned you they were that heavy. " she pulled him off to the side and got a serious look on her face," Is, are you sure you haven't noticed any strange bumps or creepy crawly sensations? I'm still missing a symbiote, and the others react strangely when we are alone together like this. "
