"Isamu, I can't raise kids!" Ashley retorted with a terrified tone. " What happens the first time they stress me out and I lose control? I don't think mama bear is something anyone wants to call Kodiak. I knew something was drawing my symbiote away, but... ," she started to cry slightly," Is, I'm sorry. I should have made sure it didn't happen."
"Aww, how touching" Osaku mocked, back in his tiger form and struggling against his confines.

"I think you can do anything you set your mind to Ashley. You are amazing. Also I believe that you would love any children so much that even Kodiak would do that and do everything to protect them and keep them safe. In fact I know that you will protect those children with your life no matter what," he says trying to soothe her remembering how Kodiak fought with one hand wile protecting herself with the other. He steps closer again and tries to take her into her arms while she cries.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. I love you, and I will love our children. There may be challenges, but together we will handle them. Our children will be amazing," he says rubbing her back( if she allowed him to hold her)
Noting the man change back into the Tiger he says to her, "let us go outside and call in to see how they want to handle pickup for him." He tries to move her towards the entrance he came in through.

"You'll go nowheres, outsider." Osaku snarled as Isamu could smell the strange odour again. Ashley began to walk towards Osaku just as the concrete encasement began to crack, and then suddenly burst in a showered the couple. The tigerman began to crawl from his entrapment as Ashley went down, struck by a large piece of debris, Isamu could not tell where for certain, but judging by the way she doubled over, it had caught her somewheres in the midsection.

"ASHLEY," Isamu yells out extending a hands towards her as she doubles over. His face turns dark. Anger apparent on his face.
"You want out of that encasement, I can arrange that for you," he says stalking forward as he reverts back to stone. He holds a hand towards Osaku and makes the area his encasement is in turn to quicksand. He makes a 6 foot diameter pool that is 5 foot deep directly under Osaku.
Once the quicksand pool is in place he approaches Ashley. "Ashley are you all right," he asks nearing her.

Osaku dropped into the pool up to his shoulders, then immediately began struggling to escape, roaring incomprehensibly
At the same time, Ashley was unconscious, doubled over from the impact with a tickle of blood coming from her forehead. But she was breathing, or more like Kodiak growling.

Isamu looks at Osaku and debates once again killing the tiger man. He could make the pool deeper and wider with a flick of his wrist guaranteeing he would never make it out.
"The more you struggle the faster you will sink," he says to Osaku.
Still in his stone form he kneels down next to Ashley, "my love," he says. He picks her up and begins to walk out of the building.

Osaku stopped moving, and only glared at Isamu. "We are not finished, Gaijin."
Though Ashley made no sound but the low growls, Isamu could feel her symbiotes were agitated, to the point where it was similar to when Kodiak took control and lashed out.

Isamu spares a glance back at the Tiger in the quicksand. He could have killed him by using the encasement over his head and he didn't and now Ashley was hurt. Ashley who was bringing a new life in the world. One he helped create. If Osaku died here today the world would still be in balance, or at least it would be once the baby was born. He says nothing as the quicksand pit extends to 12 foot wide and 8 foot deep. He then says over his shoulder with his back to the man, "Remain still and do not struggle and perhaps you will not drown before the pit dissipates. If you relax you may yet survive this."
He steps further away towards the exit he whispers to Kodiak, "Kodiak, I only want to keep you safe. You and Ashley and the baby. Let me get you to safety. I will never harm you or Ashley. You know that."
He stays in his stone form and keeps carrying Ashley out. With the simbiotes agitated and Ashley unconscious it is totally possible Kodiak will re-emerge.

The symbiotes continued to stir wildly, but Ashley did not respond to Isamu's voice and her body was limp. Osaku remained motionless but said nothing while they left, merely glaring at Isamu.
Once outside, he found Ashley's father waiting in the Jeep. He perked up, looking scared," What has happened? Ashley?"

Isamu still in his stone form carries Ashley forward and lays her down on the sidewalk. He reverts to human and reaches into his pocket for the cell phone.
He says, "do not come to close. Ashley is unconcious but her symbiotes are very active. Kodiak may emerge. Here tale this," he says tossing the cell phone. "Redial the last number and tell whoever answers that Isamu requires a medical team and a prisoner transport team as soon as possible."
Isamu then looks back down at Ashley. He moves stray hair off her face and tries to look her over to try and see if his holistic medicine skills can help at all.

Ashley's father nodded as he caught the phone, and did as he was told. Ashley did not stir as her breaths were slow and shallow, but it did not seem like there was anything he could do.
"The man that answered said help is on the way. Paramedics and a recovery team." He said as he inched forward, the concern for his daughter outweighing the worries of Kodiak appearing. " Her symbiotes will protect your child. I am certain."
Within ten minutes, an ambulance escorted by a pair of vans arrived. The ambulance sat as four men in tactical uniforms climbed from the vans, with assault rifles,at the ready.

Isamu looks up at her father, "I only just found out she was pregnant. She only just found. How do you know," he asks curiosity on his face.
Before her father can answer the Vehicles arrive. Looking up at them, Isamu raises and walks towards the men pulling his badge out as he does. Showing it to them he says, "there is a man inside trying to remain still so he does not sink into quicksand. He should be subdued from afar before you attempt to bring him out of the sand trap and then shackled and secured for transport. He is quite dangerous. I need the paramedics with me. My colleague is injured," he says showing Ashley's badge as well.

"So I did not wait in the car like you told me to." He admitted before stepping out of the paramedics way. The tactical team went into the exhibit room without a word where they had left Osaku.
A paramedic kneeled down next to Ashley to assess her, the stood right back up in shock. " What the hell is that?" he pointed as two of Ashley's symbiotes scurried along her neck.

Isamu walks over to the paramedic and looks down. He says, "your only concern is to stabilize her and arrange for transport. Do not ask questions you are not prepared to hear the answer too. I will answer you if you insist, however it will raise more questions for you than answers. What you should know is she was hit with flying debris and then she collapsed. She is with child please check the baby. I would suggest you also use a mild sedative if possible without endangering the child. She uh... she can display a bad temper if startled awake."
He stands behind and to the side near her father as the paramedics work. He says, "you should go to your home. Tell your wife Ashley is safe, but we are going to the hospital. I would ask that you keep the information on the child to yourself for now. I think it is something she should be able to tell her mother herself. I will go with her to the hospital."

The EMT looked at Isamu and nodded slowly before he carefully loaded her on a stretcher with the help of another paramedic. As they began to roll her to the ambulance, Ashley's father patted Is on the shoulder," Very well, Isamu. You will make a good son in law when the time is right. Call us when you know something more." He turned and walked back towards the jeep just as one member of the tactical team returned to Isamu," There's no one in there. You sure someone was left inside?" His tone was suspicious.
