Not wanting to get into it with Ashley, Alice nods "I'll call my friend and we can try to set up a meeting so you can talk to Dmitri." Alice starts towards her room as she says "I'll get my bag and phone and meet you outside." Alice then grabs her bag and cell phone and heads out to the front.

Jason comes out of his room just as Alice disappeared from the hall, still able to overhear the exchange. " Geez, give a guy a chance. talk about kiss and ru..., Oh hi Ashley."
" Don't worry, Jas, I'm over you." She replied nonchallantly. " Alice can put up with you. Are you going with us? Eric said you have to go into the city."
Jason nodded. " If there's room. I'll rent a car when we get there. Let me grab Eric and Michael. I'll meet you out front."
Tyler just stares at Will, but doesn't say anything until Felica kisses him goodbye. " Be careful."
"I will." she replied, going around to the passenger seat.
Ty leaned down on the windowsill and handed Will his key. " I'll act my age when you act yours and start pulling your belt up to your ribs and take up shuffle board." He smirked. " Bring it back in one piece, parts are hard to find."

"Got it. Bring the hard-to-find parts back." William says, gunning the engine with a lusty grin. "You find me a shuffle board, and I'll gladly retire." And he drives into town with Felicia."
So. What are we going into town for?" He asks, as he drive away... slowing as he sees the others. "And are they coming?"

Alice starts walking towards the truck with a small smirk. "Yup, it's one big field trip!" she says to William as she gets into the back seat of the truck and waits for the others.

After watching the Camaro pull away, Tyler's puzzled look shifted to Alice in the Suburban. He leaned against the truck and asked lowly. " Tell me you know what's going on."
Ashley popped her head around the corner of the doorway. " Eric, bring your toys and your friend. We're going back to Miami." Michael gets a disgruntled look on his face, and Ashley laughs as she heads for the door.
" Brilliant, oldtimer." Felicia replied, looking in her mirror until Tyler was out of sight. " You make decisions owing what's going on. " She turned to him with a chuckle. " you should have been a politician. I have to go to see Dr. Reno. She runs a small clinic on the north side."
The commotion of everyone leaving brought Maria out of her sulking. Jason spoke as he passed by. " Hey. Everyone's leaving. You might as well come to unless you want to stay here and put up with Ty whining about whatever happened to his Camaro."

Alice glances at Tyler. "Kind of," she says quietly "being quiet means I get to hear what's going on and no one really notices me. Ashley is taking advantage of the fact that I know Dmitri's girlfriend and she's hoping to get some answers out of him in regards to what is going on. Eric and Jason want to find out what's on that disc of Eric's." Alice ticks off her fingers as she talks "As for Felicia, she said something about wanting to go to the doctor and get something checked out. I wondered if she was coming down with the flu. I don't know what's up with Sparks. I tried to talk to her and she practically ran away from me." Alice shrugs. "That's about it, I think."

"Clinic for what? Ashley seemed to think it didn't want naming, which would mean it's important and personal. Tyler doesn't know, and you don't show any injuries, and you want to get it examined, which means it's new. Unlike politicians, I knee-jerk with my peripheral vision and not tunnel vission. It's how I've managed to live so long, and be the only one of us that's almost never fought since this started." William says, making his way to the main road. "Just so that I know, who much do you weigh?"

Eric lookat a Mike with a grin "Lets go friend." Eric loads all his things up in his backpack and pulls out a credit card. "we'll get everything we need compliments of," Eric looks closer to the card "Richard Mitchell." Eric notices the worried look on Mike's face. "Don't worry. It was a false name I came up with way back in the day. Remember I'm not old enough to have one of these on my own." Eric puts the card into his pocket and heads to the suburban.

*gets up and follows jason outside, quiet and looking like someone who killed their best friend. then looks up and stares at Ty and then comments loud enough for him to hear 'I happened to your paint job. i .. lost it, and it engulfed me. sorry.' *then looks away and waits for the inevitable explosion thats about to happen, then winches at the loud "WHAT?!!" from Ty.
*steps forward and stares at him, then comments 'go ahead .. you know you wanna . so go ahead, hit me. get it over with. it wont help me understand why a little box has her running scared, or why .. .. ' *shuts up and then camly waits for the smack thats showing more and more evidence of emerging by her stance.
'it bad enough i got an understanding of one weird thing happening to me, then something else starts to happen. i lost control .. said sorry for it twice and this is the third time. i wont be saying it again.' *eyes defiant now as her chin comes up, daring him to give in to the anger near the surface. the look in the eyes the same when she stood up to william back at the old place.

Tyler stared at Maria for what seemed like an eternity, until Jason's quiet voice intervened. " Don't even consider it, Ty"
His eyes never left Maria's. " I'm not going to, and now I understand." His fists unclenched and his shoulders sagged. He stepped closer to her, and lowered himself so he was at her level. " I don't want to fight with you, I want to help you learn to control your gifts. I thought I made that clear in the truck when they first started to manifest themselves."
Jason leaned against the truck beside Alice's window and spoke in a low tone. " I've never seen him like this, even when I started to change."
Tyler replied over his shoulder. " Thats because you were a pain in the butt." He rose and turned to face the truck, placing his arm on Maria's shoulder. " And how come I have to find out what's going onfrom your girlfriend?"
"She's not my girlfriend." Jason countered, turning to ALice with a smirk. " not yet anyways."
" Yeah, I think Fel and I used to claim that too." Ty sniped back as Jason got in the truck next to Alice in the back seat. He turned his attention back to Maria. " Go with them, and I'll catch up with you once Trevor sobers up. Then we'll work on your control."
Ashley arrived in the driveway with Michael and Eric in tow. She glanced at Alice and Jason in the back as she got into the driver's seat, but said nothing. Michael held the door for Eric replying I have a better idea than a stolen credit card. " Michael smirked slightly " just let me at an ATM, and we'll have lots of cash. They don't seem to like my EMP pulses.
" Yuo want to know my what?" Felicia looked at Will in disbeleif. " I'm around 170, what does that matter? " She let out a sigh of releif. " Since you 'll know sooner or later. I took a test and it came up positive, so I want to make sure before I tell Ty he's gonna be a father. " She unconsciously rubbed her stomach as they drove along.

*sighs and nods at Ty .. ' i still don't like this .. something's wrong .. and i'm scared tis gonna be on top of us before we can do anything about it .. and .. ' *then shakes the head .. and moves to the surburban .. hat coming of to reveal the nasty job on the hair .. then looks back at Ty .. 'my control slipped .. but i know the feeling this time .. and i really don't think its gonna get away this time .. ' ..
*then moves to get into the backseat of the vehicle .. glad that in the shadows she can't be seen as abnormal .. and then puts the hat back on. turning to look at Mikey and Eric 'figured he woulda decked me for burning his ride .. ' *then slumps down out of obvious view, but where she can watch in case its needed. then as the others get int commetns to Jason 'it was between me and him .. but .. thanks .. i torched his wheels .. and thats worse than keying it'

As Mike tells Eric his plan Eric's grin grows. "I like how you think Mike." Climbing into the back Eric pulls out his laptop and begins to play a game of spider solitaire on its hardest difficulty.
As Sparks climbs in and tells them what happen Eric shrugs. "It happens, no harm no foul."

William glances at Felicia as if guaging her accuracy in her weight. "Not every escape route exists on roads or in two dimensions. Maria had serious concerns about where we're going, so we have to consider the idea of getting out in a hurry. Do you guys have a safe place to park somewhere?"
As they drive into the city, he says, eventually. "Make sure you don't just wait for the right moment. Tell him the first chance you can, either way. It'll kill him more to let you get hurt and be pregnant, and him not knowing them for him to sacrifice himself for his soon-to-be-child. Men are stupid like that." William finishes, speaking from experience.

Alice automatically tells Tyler "He's not my boyfriend" at the same time Jason denies it. She can't help but chuckle at that, and grins a bit at the 'not yet' part. When Jason sits beside her, she smiles at him quietly, but doesn't say anything as her mind is already going over what she is going to say when she calls Jane. As Ashley starts to drive, Alice stares out the window, hoping things go smoothly when they get into town.
