*sitting so the feet dangle off the porch, worries about the trip to the city and then what felicity wanted kept quiet. then shrugs and then stands up and then looks about .. then as the arm starts to tingle the spoken 'oh ***** ..' heralds her dash into the woods to get distance from the others until she figures out how to control the arcs of energy coming off her.
*standing on straight gravel and finally stopping to get her panic under control .. she realizes that its not lashing out like lightning .. but covers her much like a suit of clothes* 'oh man .. i hope you stop soon, cause i don't wanna loose no clothes while you do whatever it is yer doin ... ' *then slowly starts to head back towards the cabin .. and the power starts to die back as she thinks ...o0( no armour .. no armour )

Alice frowns as Sparks gets up and runs away suddenly. 'What in the world?' she wonders to herself. Sighing, she gets up and goes back into the house and heads into the living room and, after taking her shoes off, lays down on the couch staring at the ceiling wondering where her life was going and what she was going to do now.

*as she finally comes into view of the cabin .. the electrical field of her new power is out of sight, but he tingly feeling in the arms tells her that it is really close to the surface .. and any kind of scare will set it off .. and licking the lips .. starts upthe stairs to the back porch again nearly yelling to herself mentally ...o0( no armour .. NO armour )

Jason smiled, " You could try, but not here. They'd eventually track us down. We'll have to go to the city to try and get Alice to help. She says she's godd with computers too.
The otherwise quiet of the house was broken by a loud arguement. I have to go to the clinic. You're going to the city anyways." Felica shouted. Ashley replied. " You'll have to wait. Besides, the docdoesn't know you're coming." Felica countered. " The french woman said... keep your voice down someone will hear you!" The arguement hushed, but the whole house had heard it, and the mention of a french woman at a clinic sent a chill down Maria's spine, but she didn't know why.
Ty shoved the box at Will, barely controlling himself. " this is your fault, I told you not to go." He seethed, then stopped looking at Trevor dangling behind Will. " What is he doing up there?"

Will took the box, saying "He's training. Remember that time I told you about where the Germans tied me up to a tree, leaving me for dead? And... oh." Will's voice stopped short. "I thought people had given this up." He closes the box, and hands it back to Tyler.

*freezes, one hand reaching for the doorknob heading inside .. and shudders with fear. the control slipping slightly, the hand cparking and arching to the metal then mutters to herself 'not another jackie' as the force of will comes into play and the show stops again.
*enters the cabin and looks intothe kitchen, and noticing its empty, moves over to grab a knife, the plan - to slip outside and hack off the hair so that its easier to hide under a cap. 'doctor? .. french lady? .. clinic? .. ' the voice live with fear, the contol slipping more, so the power boils just under the surface and starts to hack at the hair. 'don't go there .. don't know why .. but don't go there .. somethings wrong .. why can't i remember?'
*hanks of the platinum tresses litter the kitchen floor as she shakes and worries why she's scared for the others and that strange place that ashley and felicity were argueing over*

*tosses the knife into the sink .. then as it clatters about, bends to gather up the hair chucks then sets the hat on the mess that was pretty once
'okay .. now i can almost pass as a guy on blades .. just need to finish the picture .. but how does this stuff work?'' .. *looking at the contents of a small paper sack in her hand.
*then hearing steps, looks up. blue eyes wise as the bag goes into the pocket again .. and the long chucks of her hair dangle in the left hand.

Jason rolled from the dtable towards the commotion, but stopped by the living room doorwayas it subsided. He glanced in and saw Alice, and changed direction. He rolled up alongside her as quietly as a freighttrain on the creaky floor and stopped a few feet away. He smiled as he looked over at her. " You look like you need to vent at someone."
What are you doing? Mikey's voice popped in Maria's head as he came in behind her, smiling Lose a bet or something?
" Is that all you have to say?" Tyler fumed, but before he could continue, a blast ripped thru the trees behind him, spraying chunks of rope everywheres. Trevor transformed just before landing and hovered in flame form towards the pair. " Allright, you win. Teach me master." He reverted to normal and landed unsteadily.

"Walk with me." William starts a round-about trip, aiming generally for the quarry. "What happened to him would have happened eventually, and that it happened at all has onl a little to do with me. You and Terry knew, in the beginning, before I even went on vacation this summer, that his life was in danger. You knew this. YOu told me so yourself. And He knew this. If his life was really this important, you woud have parted was a long time ago."
"But that it happened, has not to do with me, you, or Terry, but Nilo. If it were you or me, and Terry had betrayed us, he would have been left to hang, or killed unceremoniously, depending on what happened. But Nilo isn't like that."
William stands at the edge, looking into the quarry. "Terry was on borrowed time for quite a while. If Nilo didn't know what was going on before all this, I would be shocked."
William takes a deep breath, and lets it out as a sigh. "We cannot afford ourselves idealism, Tyler. Not anymore."
"Though, I am wondering what warning he's thanking me for."

Alice doesn't turn to face Jason as she replies "I'm fine." in a tone that says she's really not fine at all. "Is there something that you wanted?" she asks after a minute or two of silence.

'uhh .. no ... don't bet. just figured .. i'ld blend in .. if i .. looked ... more like the other normal people' .. *then looks at the hair 'but i don't know how to cut hair .. so i just ... used a knifr and sliced it out and stuff ..' *then removes the cap revealing the horrible job done and shrugs*
'i'm scared mikey .. real scared. i'm changing again .. and i don't know if thats good or bad' *looks away for a moment then back* 'i see stuff and its confusing to me .. i ... nothing .. i should go outside before i do something i'll regret forever. i don't want to hurt or kill another friend. di d that once already .. excuse me .. '
*slips past michael in the hall and moves towards the door and then opens the front door .. the tingle forming again in the hand as she touche the knob. 'oh god .. why me? .. why now? .. ' *then makes a fist and opens the door and slips thru to the outside, her control slipping more as t he sob bursts out, more anger than sorrow* 'not another .. i wont i wont ' .. *then sits on the front porch, once again deep in concentration over the sprouthing new power, terror about dim memories about the words 'french lady' and 'clinic'

No..., I mean yeah, ... I mean.. " Jason replied tonguetied, blushing a bit before composing himself by clearing his throat. " I just wanted to see how you were holding up.This weekends been crazy for all of us, and we're sorta used to nuttiness happening around us. I can't imagine what this is like to you and Maria." He chuckled a bit. " Eric seems to be enjoying it. Anyways, he and I have to go into the city for a few hours to find out what's on that disk of his and I thought maybe," he caught himself fidgeting and stopped, " I know you have to be mad at me, and I don't blame you, but I thought we could talk a little before I go."
Trevor nodded, and changed again, flying easily up to remove the knife from the tree. He handed the knife to Will hilt first and then walked back to the lodge, still staggering a bit. Tyler watched him for a moment before before listening to Will as they walked, tossing the box aside. His breathing slowed to a normal rate as he used a relaxation trick he'd been taught years ago to control his temper, ironically by Will during his own training. " I tried to get Leo to give up, but it was his job to watch over Terri and he took it very seriously. Yeah, I knew he was on thin ice, but dammit Will, if you'd left well enough alone, I might have gotten him out. " He turned and looked back again. " Why is Trevor drunk? Doesn't matter, I probably don't want to know. But we've got bigger problems than whatever Nilo is up to. MacColter's boys came after me and Maria. She messed them up pretty good, but we're gonna have to either prove that we weren't involved with the mayor's murder or deal with Dylin and goons."
Mikey started to follow Maria out, but nearly got run over by Felicia as she barged out the door . " I don't care if Will and Ty put her in charge or not, I'm going to the clinic whether she like it or not." She stormed down the stairs past Maria, " Lookout, coming through. If anyone asks, I went to the clinic to confirm something." She gave Maria an ' You know what I'm talking about' look as she fished her keys from her purse, heading towards Ty's precious Camaro.
Ashley brushed past Eric, glancing at the screen of his laptop. " What are you up to?"

William looks over the quarry, taking in what Tyler says. "I am sorry about Leo." He says, after a moment. "He was a good man." Taking another breath, he says. "McCotler's men can't be after you, unless it's tied to Maria and myself. We were at the scene, remember? So, if you disassociate yourselves, you'll be safer. If needbe, I can take care of Maria."
The wind blows against their face. "I'm one of the old-school heroes, Tyler. A meddler in the worse way. But, also one that knows the need for a firm foundation. By putting Nilo on his toes, it starts to unravel this coup's foundation."
He picks up one small stone. "Nilo." and tosses it into the quarry. "Hopefully, we'll get our act together, and the rocks will start to get bigger."
William turns and heads back to the cottage. "Remember the night I spent in the Black Forest, in 43?" He says as he walks. "That's what I was doing with Trevor."
