*makes eye contact with Felicity and says 'don't go .. something's wrong. don't go .. please? .. *sighs as the door opens and closes as Felicity gets into the car. then acting on utter panic and impulse, leaps to the feet and races for the car, the static building about the body and leaps for the hood.
'DON'T GO ... ' *then the panic driven power flies out of control. the electrical armour solidly in place, one hand thumps once on the window then slides off ... 'don't go .. oh god. why now? .. what does madam want from me?' .. *then looking at the sky, screams out with her useless rage* 'why can't i remember ... ?'
*the field cuts off as the emotions expend themselves on the car .. then sparks gets up and walks back to the porch again. 'who am i kidding? .. everyone is too selfish and we're gonna get killed. better tell the others, then i guess i should get going to ... ' *no longer caring that Felicity had stopped or was standing with the car door open with a lax jaw at the new power that showed itself. the area where sparks was on the car, carries her scorched impression on the paint job.
*then turns once towards the car and sees Felicity staring at her, then notices the car's new design .. ' .... oh crud ... ' .. *then enters the house calling out 'i just toasted the car outside and Felicity's going out and i'm leaving cause she's gonna bring trouble back. so if you all wanna live .. better get ready to split while she's gone .. cause if she comes back, she won't be alone. we're all gonna be toast .. dead like jackie .. and that wasn't my fault' .. *then the front door closes behind her, blocking off Felicity's response or reaction to the words.

Alice continues staring at the ceiling as she asks Jason, "You thought maybe what?"
Upon hearing Spark's shriek of rage, Alice jumps 5 feet into the air and scurries to the end of the couch. "What in the bloody hell was that?" she asks, a look of fear on her face. She runs her hands through her hair as she says in a shaky voice "I can't do this. I can't handle this anymore." She starts to hyperventilate as she feels pressure in the back of her head and her control slipping. She covers her eyes as she desperately tries to regain control.

As Ashley approaches Eric looks up. "I'm trying to create a program the send mixed signals to give off a different internet location signal. I'm going to need hardware to do it also, not just the programing. I wish I'd taken those classes on networking now. Normally I'd just count on Ice to take care of that."
As Sparks runs after Felicia yelling Eric watches from the porch. *What in the world.* Eric thinks to himself. As Sparks screams and lets out an electrical field covering her body Eric watches in utter amusement. As she heads for the house calling out so everyone can hear Eric has look of confusion on his face... "What is she so worried about?"
Eric looks back at Ashley with the same confused look on her face ".....I think she needs your help more then I do." As Eric starts to finishes up the program he closes hit laptop and sits back taking in the wilderness environment.

" Hey, hey, calm down." Jason replied, trying to comfort her as he rolled closer and placed a hand on her knee. " I'll take you home, I had no right to force you into this. It's just .... when you first stumbled onto me in that alley, and then when I found out you were one of us, I just thought you and I might... " he removed his hand and backed away with a sheepish look, " I'll go put my exosuit on, we can leave in a few minutes and I'll have you home in a hour or so." He tried to hide the hurt in his tone as he backed away and rolled out the door.
" Would you calm down, kid?" Felica shouted sternly as she followed , only to be shut out. The hammering of her four fists against the door rumbled like thunder. Maria's shouts drew everyone's attnetion, especially Ashley who was standing there with Eric. " You mind tell me what you're losing your mind over?" She glanced at Eric. " Talk to Michael, he has a gift for machines and is probably bored out of his mind. He can help you." She turned back to Maria. " C'mon Sparks, spill it. What's all the shouting about?"
" 43? Will, my dad was only born in '46." Ty's sense of humour seemed to hint at returning as he walked along with. " I don't see the connection between Nilo and the assassination in the park, but you were always the brains of the group. But MacColter's goon squad already has a tie in to us. I had Maria with me when I made a stand after they followed us from my meeting with Nilo's boys.They know we're together, so I'm in this whether you like it or not, along with the others." He smirked " You know better than to think I'd let you have all the fun."
His smirk faded at Maria's tirade at the front of the house. " They couldn't have found us yet, could they?" He broke into a run towards the lodge.

Alice sits on the couch after Jason had left, controlling her breathing as best as she can. When she thinks of what he had just said, she finds herself shaking with rage. Getting up, she storms quietly to Jason's room not caring anymore if anyone sees that her eyes are bright red and glowing fiercely. She finds Jason's room and after a curt knock, walks in to find that Jason had put his exosuit on and was putting on clothes over it. "Oh," she spits out angrily "you'll take me home will you? Do I even have a home I can go to that's safe anymore? Or will the police try to arrest me again?" Slamming the door behind her, she walks over to Jason and gives him a light shove. "You thought what?" she demands angrily. "What in the bloody hell do you want from me, Jason?" Shoving him again, she snarks, "It'd be nice if you gave me a straight answer for once."

*looks Ashley in the eyes and then hangs the head 'i don't know .. i just know she better not go. something bad will happen to her. i .. i can't remember who did this to me, or why .. i just know something bad will happen. i haven't lived on the streets for 4 years to not know when i get a bad feeling to run. i got one that's worse than bad, and i don't know why. but if she goes, don't expect her to come back alone. cause she wont.
*then looks up at ashley, the eyes haunted by something 'whatever happened to make me this .. did something to my head .. but too many people want me, and i dont know why. just don't let her go. things worse than jackie dying will happen, and this time, it wont be my fault.
*then lets her head thump into the wall beside her. then quietly 'you know .. for once i thought i found a place and people to call friend. guess i was wrong after all. well .. i guess i better get my stuff together. i'll be gone in about 3 minutes, then you wont have to worry about me .. alright?'

" What's wrong with you, Alice?" Jason replied as he lost his balance and landed on the bed. He laid there for a moment staring at her, his voice starting to rise in response to her temper flare as he stood up. " You want me to admit what? Fine you want it straight, I can't take my mind off of you, and it hurts to think I've ruined your life and you want nothing to do with me, not that I blame you. And it doesn't help that Ashley and Felicia have pumped you full of stories about what I used to be like. Well they're true, I used to be like that before my accident, but this", he kicked his whechair and knocked it over," kinda put an end to it. So pardon me for thinking there was a hope that that you would be the first to see past my being a cripple. Well, you've proven me wrong in fine form. Why the hell am I yelling, I'm not even the one whose upset."
He picked up his clothes and got back to getting dressed.
Ashley looked at the newly arrived Will before turning back to Maria. " We've used that clinic for years, and we've never had a problem with Doctor Reno. Whatever memories are coming back to you, they must be wrong or mixed up or something. And you know Felicia needs to see a doctorbecause of... " she glanced at Will again, " her condition. If you're worried about her, go with and keep an eye out for her. The rest of us are going into the city anyways so It'll give you something to do."
She shook her head as she continued. " We want you to stay, Maria. You're one of us now. Tell her Will, she's better off with us, right?"
Eric finds Mikey standing over his laptop, studying the screen. He looks up surprised Oh hey, nice comp, but I think you're cd rom is fried or youu've got a bum disk
From outside, everyone heard Tyler's bellow " What the hell happened to my car?"

"EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP!" William bellows over the noise. As he returns to human form, the dishes stop rattling. And the birds continue to fly away. Some seismologist student in Miami registered an odd little burst, but attributed it to local mining. "You." He says pointing to Ashley "Will do our best on your own from keeping this group from falling apart or splitting up. You." He says pointing to Maria. "Will not leave. I can't keep you here, but don't delude yourself into thinking that leaving will do us any favours, because it won't. Clearly you don't care about your own well-being, or you'ld have the sense to stay. And you." William says to Felicia, glancing outside. "Will not tell Tyler right away, since he's about to have a stroke. I am going with you to the Doctor's office." With that, William bursts out of the kitchen and grabs Tyler by the scruff of his neck, pushing him up against the car. "YOu want your car wrecked? Or are you going to give up on the idea of personal possessions like Alice has already, and start acting like a responsbile adult?" He grunts.

' *shakes the head and looks away for a moment before looking back at Ashley ' .. it doesn't matter .. my fears are probably nothing to worry about. its just that ... i dunno .. mabye the bit about the doctor and the french lady got me spooked. this fear about the "madam" wanting me back is groundless for everyone else. sorry .. '
*then slips past to go slump onto the couch and draws the knees up andrests the chin on them. unaware of a lot of thing own need to get past the block in the head. ...o0( it was easier when i watched out for myself. then the choice was mine. if worse came to worst, i would'a gone to the brethren. even if they scare me, i would have gone to them. maybe not be alive now, but at least i would have been with people that understood the streets. why the ****** is this happening to me? .. ) 'why can't i remember? .. its like my mind is hiding something, and i can't remember'
*unaware that ashley is watching her from the doorway to the livingroom, with a worried look that changes as she hears jason and alice talking loudly down the hall. then Ashley wonders what the heck Maria was talking about and who Jackie is ..

Eric looks down at his screen, "naw. The Cd needs an internet connection to work. Thats why I was looking for you. I heard you were pretty good with electronics," Eric brings up the program he created to send false internet signals," and I need a device that I can plant that will route me internet. Basically like a series of network adapters that will give off hundreds of connections like a server. You think you could come up with something?" Eric goes through his program again to make sure everything seems to be alright.

Alice looks stunned as she takes in what Jason had said. She sits on the edge of Jason's bed and tries to say something several times, but can't think of what to say. Finally, she says "You didn't ruin my life. Something like this would have happened eventually, I know that now. I'm surprised I was able to keep my powers a secret for as long as I did. I..." she hesistates, her voice trembling a little. "I was scared and I didn't know what to do. So I pretended nothing had changed, that I was the same old Alice, but I'm not and I'm starting to accept that." She looks down sadly and sighs to herself.
"For the record," Alice adds quietly as she stands up, "I don't see you as a cripple. I never have. And I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since we met. I just wanted you to know that." Alice starts for the door and then pauses as she is about to open the door. Before she can talk herself out of it, she turns around and walks over to Jason. Grabbing the front of his t-shirt, she pull him towards her and kisses him deeply. When she is done, she smiles sadly up at him, caresses his cheek gently and then she turns around, heading for the door.

I can do that, but I need to get to a Curcuit City. We don't have anything here that I can use. Michael replied, studying the comp. And I need a more powerful system, but I can do it
A little miffed by Will, Ashley turns her attention to Maria and crouches down in front of her. " Look, when we get back, if you want someone to talk to, come find me. But I think you should go with Will and Felicia, if for nothing else than to put you at ease." She patted her on the knee as she stood up and headed down the hall. " You better hurry up or Will will leave without you."
" Go to Hell, Will." Tyler snapped, shrugging out from under his grip. " Don't give me one of your BS "you have to give up everything' speeches. If I listened to that crap, we'd be hiding in sewers eating stolen pizza and counting rats right now, so back off. " He was about to continue when he realized Felicia was quietly following Will. " Hon, what's going on here?"
" Will and I are going into the city. " She replied, not making eye contact.
Ty looked at her slackjawed before turning back to Will. " Am I missing something here?"
Jason stood there dumbfounded and speechless. As Alice closed the door behind her, Ashley cleared her throat. " Didn't listening to Ty and Fel last night tell you the walls in this place are thin? You two sound like my parents. Bet you even plan to kiss and make up later, not that I really care anymore. " Her lie was obvious as she changed her subject. " So, did you decide if you'll call your friend so I can talk to Dimitri? Sounds like everyone is going back to Miami, so they'll be lots of us in case things get ugly."
