Alice cries out in shock and runs to Jason, dropping to her knees beside him. She takes off her cardigan and starts ripping it into strips, and ties the pieces on any place she sees that Jason is bleeding in an attempt to stop it. (first aid, 40% out of 50%) When she's done, she very gently sits Jason up and cradles his head gently, as she cries silently wondering what was going on and why they were doing this.

'no .. can you? .. i'll push the car if you can steer it down the driveway. it works in the movies ... just let me get my blades first, may come in handy once we're in town. just worried that if we stay bout any longer they're gonna stop us from going. 'trust the ones you work with' .. right .. how can i?.. they dont listen to me. they have the answer to everything. besides no one ever asked me if i knew anything. just figure its a punk kid that dont know nuthin so lets just cram our thoughts down her throat and if she chokes and dies from it no big loss .. there's always more out there that will survive.

" No more than the usual drunken mumblings of idiots. and they're not my brethren." She replied coldly, insulted by the suggestion. " But I never met Denial, very few people have. He's a bit of a recluse, preferring to lead by passing his orders on to his luietenants, mainly Torment and Raig. and his main enforcer, Deth."
Trevor walked in with a big grin on his face. " No problem boss. We can go check the place out in the morning if you want. It helps when your old man is a platoon chief. It's been gutted, but we only need the building right?"
Jason coughed and groaned, opening one nearly swelled shut eye. " Some first date. *cough, cough*How do we top this?"
A flicker of light came from behind them, and Dimitri appeared next to them, holding a finger to his lips. " I am sorry I could not stop them. I will go for help as soon as Wraith will not notice I am missing. " He handed a small bag of medical supplies and a bottle of water. " This is all I could scrounge for now. make sure the others don't find them please. I will be back, I promise." He started to leave.
Dexy couldn't contain herself. " Oh, I can drive, thats what I do for Unlce El. I steal exotic cars and deliver them. I'll just have to teach you to drive sometime then. I think you're wrong though. If we work with these folks, we can accomplish alot more. YOu should know there's strength in numbers. Trust me, I can handle the old man." she smirked.

He looks around. "Does Denial strike you as the kind of guy that could orchestrate this?

A strangled laugh escapes Alice as she cries. "Let's not, and say we did, ok?" she says tearfully.
When Dmitri shows up, Alice's head whips up and she glares at him, through her tears, her eyes starting to show the red colour they really are. Before she can stop herself, she gently places Jason's head down and runs up behind Dmitri and punches him in the stomach. "You bloody wanker!" she hisses furiously at him before going back to Jason and cuddling him gently. She takes the bottle of water and opens it, giving Jason some of it slowly so he won't choke on it. "if you don't come back and Jason dies, I'll kill you myself." Alice says to him, her face showing that she was serious before she goes back to tending to Jason's wounds.

'them listen to me? .. hah .. but i wanna hurt soemthing now .. really hurt something. funny thing, they took me and mikey in without knowing anything aobut either of us .. but they tried to rip mikey a new one. cause he ran with the B's too. nice group this is. they like the ones that look normal and dislike the ones that aren't. even the old man is wierd .. he's .. ' *looks aobut slyly .. and then whispers her beliefs about him.

With a pained look, Dimitri said nothing, and walked out as his portal reappeared. Jason coughed a bit from the water. " You know you've got a bit of a temper issue there." He forced a smile that looked as though it hurt.
" I don't know. If I'd met him, maybe I could tell you. I know he is calculating, but the Brethren are small potatoes." Fel replied. " This is out of their league. They get off on simple thug tactics and petty-anty stuff."
Dexy chuckled, listening to what Maria said. " They can't be that bad. Come on, you want to kick some one's butt, let's go out in the yard and play. I need some exercise anyways." she motioned towards the door.

Alice continues to tend to Jason's wounds as best as she can with the medical supplies Dmitri brought. Wiping tears from her eyes, she chuckles a little. "That's right. So don't piss me off" She tries to joke, but her voice shows just how scared and upset she is. Alice then looks around the room, looking for a place she can hide the rest of the supplies and the water bottle. When she hides them, she resumes hugging Jason gently.

"Hmm... They're the eyes and ears, then." He says. "Reno's the feelers. Wraith's the dooer, and the new Mayor's the puppet... unless he's directly in charge. But, he wouldn't populate his new agency with Patriots (with a capital P) if he really wanted to oust the rest of the mutant do-gooders. He would have put someone like Wraith in charge of it. Of course, it could have been a miscalculation. Maybe MacCotler, could tackle Tyler on his own, but he didn't expect to have to deal with people like me." William grins.
He looks at Trevor. "Yes, sorry. We can certainly use the building. Even if it's stripped down."
"But, I will have to make a cache run soon." William smirks. "I know a place where I can get a couple things to hedge our bets. Tyler, Felicia, start making a list of basic supplies we'll need. Sleeping bags, bedmats, food, that kind of thing."
He looks around. "Anything else?"

Twice through the night, Wraith's goons hauled Jason out again, returning him in worse shape but not questioning where the bandages appeared from. The last time they dumped him in, the one called Shrapnel dumped some leftover cold pizza and a couple bottles of water off before locking them in.
Dexy and Maria sparred and toyed with each other's abilities like a couple of kids until both of them were played out and their throats raw from taunting and laughter. both of them seemed to let the memories of the suffering both of them had endured slip from their minds.
Will, Felicia and Tyler continued their conspiracy brainstorming late into the night, with Trevor and Ashley listening and learning. Mikey and Eric joined them part way through, describing what was on the disc. Trevor replayed the copy on his laptop so the others could see and form their own opinions. The time flew by until Tyler looked at a clock in dismay and told the others he was going to bed, which started a domino effect

Monday Morning
Tyler woke the others early, asking everyone to meet in the living room as soon as they could. Once they were all gathered, anyone looking around noticed the headcount was off. " Before we worry about out next move, we have a problem. " He announced with a concerned tone. " JAson and Alice didn't come back last night. I tried his answering service and his cell phone and there's no answer."
Alice awoke, feeling the stares above her. When she looked up, Wraith flashed a predatory grin. " Good morning. Let's let your boytoy sleep and have a chat." He pulled her to her feet and led her from the holding cell into the outer room, which was no more descript. He allowed her to sit before taking his own seat. " Don't worry, I'm not going to harm you, it's too much taking my frustrations out on Dexter. It's alot like kicking a puppy. " He laughed a bit before taking a sip of starbucks. With a bad english accent. " I'd offer you a spot of tea, but we're fresh out. Sorry luv." He cackled some more before setting his cup down. " Enough fun. Tell me everything you know about what Tyler and that meddlesome geezer Silverfire are up to. and don't play stupid with me, you can see where that got poor little Jason."

During the night, Alice gets almost no sleep as she patches up Jason the best she can each time he's dragged from the room and hurt more. She tries not to cry too much, but focuses on what's she's doing. She tries to get Jason to eat a little of the pizza and drink some of the water before he passes out from the pain. She doesn't eat any of the pizza, but does drink some of the water.
It feels like she had just closed her eyes when she is woken up and pulled from the room. Terror fills her as she is brought to the outer room and sits down. She frantically looks for a way to escape as Wraith mangles her English accent.
Alice's confusion seems genuine as she asks "Who's Silverfire?" She has a hunch that it might be William from the geezer reference, but isn't 100% sure. "I.. I just met Jason a couple of days ago. I don't know what's going on here. Why are you doing this?"

William counts who is there and starts partitioning tasks in his mind. "Who do you think?" He asks. Though, there are really only three possibilities. "The Brethren, MacCotler or Wraith? Though I doubt MacCotler would make them unreachable, and Jason and Alice would have enough sense to call for help if they saw the Brethren coming." He face purses in through.

*at the last partof William's comment, about seeing the Brethren coming Maria closes the eyes and shakes the head. knowing from experience about how the Brethren operate looks at Dexy and rolls the eyes. then while still looking at Dexycomments 'strange huh? .. for some old fart thats got all the brains, he assumes its easy to get past them. oh right .. he's the one with everything in his back pocket, so yeah, it would be easy'
*then goes quiet again, thankful for some reason that she didn't really saymore, but recalls the antics the night before. racing about in the gloom with her cousin. somehow that word settles easily in the mind. a grin forms on the side of the mouth as she recalls some of the more colorful comments the two of them were tossing about at each other.
*looks at Kichaeland thinks at him -= if we had a map of the city, could you show me where THEY had their hangouts? i'm tired of having to be the piece of garbage they and everyone else kicks about =- .. *then her gaze goes back to the front again and pauses on Felicity .. and then moves on to the floor while waiting for an answer from Michael, but knowing that someone else will most likely yell at her first

"Well, Maria, if you can evade them for years at a time, and Felicia's steered clear of them for equally long, I figure a trained agent would be able to do so for at least an evening. Or, were you only to stay free from sheer luck?" William answers. He's clearly not calm, looking around. "Tyler, You, Dexandra and Ashley make your way into town. I'll meet up with you in the Snowbirds end of town. Felicia, you take Maria, Michael and Eric and help Trevor seal the deal with the new place. But it's Trevor's father." He looks at the younger three. "So, if Trevor says steer clear, listen to him."
William gets up. "It's time to end all this." He says, and heads for the door at an unusually personally annoyed pace.
