Slycer answers back to Krystal. "Balus? He's just a big kid. Useful though." He smiles, then becomes more serious. "Wait, how old are you, kid?" to Krystal. He seems to ignore Balus' warning.
Balus, you see a couple of the people Slycer "spoke with" talking to Trokyr.

"I am seventeen years old. Just turned a couple of months ago." She answers confused not thinking her age would matter at all. "Why do you ask?"

Fegh looks over the document briefly. He says, "captain I have been able to translate the transmissions. Apparently they are being sent out on purpose. The document I was able to translate is a manual on making contact with the people of this planet. Would you like me to study it so that we can make contact?"

The Captain looks over Fegh's work. "Immediately, Lieutenant."
"Seventeen? Really?" Slycer looks at her, but squares a quick look at Balus.
The Bio-freak XO slaps one of the enlisted men, while swearing in some old Calbran dialect. The Epoch Rider troops scuttle off, as the Second-in-command walks forward with an annoyed look on his face.

"Yes sir," says Fegh.
Now that the translation program is done, he uploads it to the communications station so that any future communications can be translated. He then transfers the document over to a protable tablet so that he can take it with him and free up this station. He begins to pour over the document. 400+ pages will take some time to read and understand. So he begins immediately.

Fegh, you have the proper procedure and know what communication frequencies and signals to use to communicate with the planet.
"ATTENTION!" The Major barks out. Instinctively, Slycer stands stock still and in military form.

Krystal looks at this and not being any part of the military just stands casually waiting to see what is going on but notes that Slycer goes to attention immediately.

The Major looks over Slycer and Balus. "I understand that you had an altercation with some of the enlisted men? "
Slycer answers. "There was a...discussion, sir."
"A discusssion? I see." He looks Slycer over, and then Balus. "Tell me, were you witness to this discussion?"

" No sir, not directly." Balus replied. "I was in the corridor when my partner entered the mess hall and my view was partially obstructed." He bent the truth slightly, but not enough to actually lie to the officer.

Krystal is not sure what to do or how to react as if she should go away or stay. She decides on the latter as she was witness that Balus was with her when this was going down and can say she was escorting her somewhere. She also heard what was said by the gentlemen....well people at the table about the captain.

Trokyr gives Balus a dissappointed look before turning to Krystal. "And you? Do you know anything?"
Fegh finds he is able to open a communications channel - audio only.
