Alice returns the quick kiss and goes back to concentrating on keeping Janie from bleeding too much. She weakly smiles at Beth as she says, "The others should be here soon. Jane will be ok." It almost sounds like she's trying to reassure herself as much as she is reassuring Beth as she adds. "Sorry you got dragged into all this."

Deci reacts to missile coming in "Hang on!" She says to avi as she tries to freeze the missile using one hand and holding on to Avi with the other.
Strike - [dice=20+5] = 19
Damage - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] = 14 (Mainly want to freeze the missile not destroy it)
Holding on to Avi - [dice=20] (plus any bonuses and negatives that you wish to apply) = 18

'now .. i'm officially annoyed. my borrowed shirt just got shot' *she drops in a sligh roll towards the ground and for the others on the ground. she does this so that IF she breaches Dimitri's 'zone' she can absorb the impact of the rolling 'crash and burn' with her own body and keep Kristian safe
'oh jeez i hope i don't have to buy a new shirt .. '

Avi grumbled," I should have brought my pistols." The missile was still closing despite being iced up. " Get us closer to the others, I'll figure something out." He activated his Band-adio for the others to hear, " Deci and I are inbound, but we've got an idiot with a missile launcher on a rooftop back here."
"Go play with the others, like you did to those kids in the store." Kristian said as Sierra landed. " I'll help Janie. Wait, did you say one was sneaking away? No one else knows where that one is, Si," he was running towards the car," You'll have to nab him.
Beth nodded to Alice, finally managing to ask," This is the kind of stuff you do all the time?" She asked, trying to hold together a bit of dignity while showing her first aid training.
Kristian appeared at the side of the car," Someone call for a paramedic?"

With everything out of place, it was hard for Tom to sense anything out of place, until he reached out far enough to reach the patio. The barbeque felt off, with a mes of wires next to the propane tank.

Jason nodded," Yeah, never would have looked there." He led them back to the patio, where Gremlin lay on the lawn unconscious. as he opened the tank compartment, Jason grinned wickedly, " Tell me that little creep is dead. If not... oh crap... he trailed off as he looked at the bomb. Tom had seen enough movies to know what plastique looked like, and there was certainly alot of it. The LCD display on top was counting down and was under a minute.
Jason took a deep breath, "You better get the others out of here. I think I can do this."

" Uh yeah, that'll work." Jason dead panned and stood up as the barbeque sailed upwards.
Everyone else saw that a barbeque was suddenly flying up in the air from behind Beth's house.

Alice weakly smiles at Beth as she replies "No, not all the time, thankfully, but more often than I would like."
Looking relieved to see Kristian, Alice quickly explains "Janie was shot. From what I can tell she was shot in the shoulder and stomach." Alice will move out of the way so that Kristian can do his thing.

"Okay, see what I can do." Kristian said as he took Alice's place. " Good job, boss. You got the blleding under control." He told her then placed his hands over the wounds and began to concentrate.
Alice felt a slight tap, and Beth was pointing up in the air, he voice serenely calm from being overwhelmed," Why is my barbeque flying?" Sure enough, a barbeque was several hundred feet above the house.
