Ch. 59 The Break In

Alice breathes a sigh of relief, glad that Janie was going to be ok now that Kristian was here.

Turning to look up at hte barbeque, Alice opens her mouth and tries to get an answer out, but after a couple of stutters, Alice sighs and shrugs, "I have no bloody idea why it is flying." Smirking, she adds "That's not something I've ever seen before."

[Dome]

As Isamu closes on the roof his mind flashes on all the falling techniques his Sensei taught him and plans to use those to land on the roof without taking any damage. He moves his arm to hit the roof next to the shooter. As he lands he takes a roll and then stands up and turns to face the shooter. He says, "you tried to shoot my friends."

Deci holds on with her hand on Avi and starts to pour on the speed to do as Avi says. "I hope whatever you come up with is good, because all I can think of is diving at the ground or building and pulling up at the last second hoping the ice slows it down enough. Either that or, maybe if I pile on more ice!"

A very plain looking man turned face Isamu, away from the rifle he was using. Then the rifle vanished and the sniper lashed out with a kick intened for Isamu's face [dice=20+6]


As Alice and Beth watched the now hovering barbeque, Kristian's voice interrupted them, disturbingly calm,"Alice, I need Avi as soon as he can get here."


Jason watched upwards, then out of the blue," Tom, I know we haven't been friends long, but will you stand for me when I marry Alice? I don't mean... you know what I mean."


"Yes, more ice. Pack it on." As Deci piled more ice on the missile, it's flightpath wobbled a bit and it slowed a bit." Okay, now, let it overshoot us!"[rand=0378743815641010560572760520479478953516906231810489564396349400173]

Deci listens to Avi and pulls up at the last minute to make sure it does overshoot them. Then to make sure she blasts the back of the missile.

Alice nods at Kristian and asks Avi over the radio, "What's your ETA? Kristian says he needs you here to help with the healing!"

*Sierra takes off at a jog on the other side of the street and then wishes that she put her shorts on. as it is, at first glance, she seems to be running away in barefeet in some man's shirt.

*she puts a burst of speed on as Jason's still in range and catches up to the person and regains her own momentum once she passes Jason's range. she only hopes Kristian saw what way she left in a big hurry.

*she hopes she can catch up to the 'runner', before he jumps in a car and makes his get away. she's rather put out by the whole thing just now and wants to flatten someone for ruining her time away from the house

"Oh...uhm...sure. Yeah. OK." Tom responds. "Sorry, kind of busy here, what with the bomb and all. You always decide to ask important questions in the middle of life-and-death situations, or was this just impulse?" He smirks.

[Dome]

Isamu ducks the kick and closes with a open palm strike to the attackers chest.

"Sorry, sometimes I just blurt stuff out when my adrenaline is up and I'm not doing anything." Jason said. " I'll fix that." He walked over and pulled Gremlin from the ground, and started laughing. " He's out cold. someone tasered him."


"We're here alice, but I've got my hands full at the moment." And as Avi said it, to Deci's suprise he reached out and grabbed the missile as it passed near them. " Okay, need somewhere's safe to dispose..., Deci, is that a barbeque hovering up ahead?"


Beth looked at Alice as Avi's message came through. " why would someone hold a barbe..." then the bomb went off, disentigrating the barbeque in spectacular fashion.


Isamu's target took the blow and it knocked him backwards. Without a second thought, the man turned and lept from the six story building. His blank look telling he had no intentions of being caught.

As sierra closed rapidly, she could feel her target, but she couldn't see anyone. In fact, whoever she was sensing just stopped.

[ -3 to next turns roll because of the suprise from the bombblast (Tom is exempt) due to the suprise]

[Dome]

Isamu takes a moment to see where the attacker went then quickly leaps from the building as well in pursuit.

Deci confused by what Avi is mentioning looks ahead to see what exactly Avi is referring to. As such she starts to head that way but preparing to dodge whatever it could be.

"Good to know." as Tom watches the explosion, trying to magnetically redirect any debris to where it won't do any harm.

[dakota]

Isamu soon saw his err in his opponents face. The man clearly had no intentions of escaping, or being caught as he plummeted towards the sidewalk.


Deci looked up in time to see the barbeque explode ( make a ps check to keep from dropping Avi in suprise)


With ease Tom deflected all the debris out of harm's way. With Gremlin lofted over his shoulder, Jason scowled," You know it's too bad you're here as a witness. This guy tried to kill me in cold blood not that long ago."
