Bobby-Jo-Jonus figures he's got an in road, and whispers the odd other trivia during class to Sarah. Otherwise, the professor goes over the architectural genius of King Ienni, and the bringing in of the first Dwarven stone-masons who, coupled with the Ienni's Atlantean Stonemasters constructed the city. He also mentions, in passing, some failed but undocumented experiments.

After arriving at the Guild Library, Tobrias takes the living magic book, looks it over, flipping through the pages, then hands it back, chuckling. "Leave it to Crynn'jol." He says. "Making sure you'll need to know magic before you can learn it." Tobrias disappears into the stacks, and returns with a 'Basic Magic principles.' book. "Learn this book first. Focus on the passive, sensory and language spells. Do not learn anything agressive or violent, or you're out on your own. Understand?"

Coop took the book, and opened the cover. It wasn't far from what he'd already been reading of Sarah's. " At least I can read this one. Nothing violent or aggresive, got it." He closed the book and looked at Tobrias and smirked. " Worst case, I've got an inside line on a pretty good tutor if I need it. But I gotta ask. Why would Crynn'Jol give me those books? They're way beyond me."

Sarah half-listens to the professor, having heard a lot of this during her studies as she was growing up. Wishing that Bobby would shut up, she quietly takes notes and is glad when class is over and she can head home for the evening. Packing up her books, she heads out to the bus stop.

Tobrias says, thoughtfully. "I wonder what he's seen that I have not. In any event, you get to reading that book."

As class lets out, she gets the feeling she's being followed.

Sarah frowns, feeling concerned. As she continues on to the bus stop, she keeps a sharp eye out for any signs that she actually is being followed and that it's not just her imagination.

After a while, Bobby-Jo-Jonus passes by, moving quickly once he had passed her. At the same time, coming towards her was a young-looking guy dressed in the quasi-goth-punk of the day. As Bobby cleared a corner, goth kid bumps up against Sarah.
When he does bump her, she receives a moment of clarity where she realizes he's not really just a kid. However, by the look on his face, he knows her secret too.
A dark grin form on his face, as he says "I'm telling." and runs off.

Tobrias shakes his head. "Not that I can think of. You run along home before Sarah accuses me of recruiting you for the Guild."

Sarah curses and chases after the goth kid, thinking 'Dammit! I can't let him tell anyone else that I'm the Slayer!'

" No worries there." Coop replied as he let himself out of the office. He leafed through the pages as he walked through the halls of the guild before closing itat the front door. He tucked it under his arm and walked down the street to wait for a bus home.

Coop arrives home, noting Sarah's not yet back from class, as expected. Oddly, coming up the stairs, the weird lady next door seemed to be standing there, and walked back into her apartment, all the while petting the cat in her arms.
Sarah
Sarah followed Goth Kid, who seemed very vampish, around a corner, to see he had disappeared... but he couldn't have gone far.

Sarah curses and looks around for Goth Kid, hoping she hasn't lost him. She walks around cautiously, hoping to find him before he can report to his master about who she is.

Coop said hello to his neighbor as she exited the hallway. Since it wasn't out of the ordinary, he merely unlocked the door and let himself in when he found it still locked. " Sarah? You here?" He said aloud, in case she hadn't stopped to take off her shoes. when no answer came, he set the book down next to the phone as he checked for messages.

From behind her comes a voice. "Well, well. Big Slayer... doesn't even use her powers." Says the goth kid. "Maybe I can just solve Macho Jon's problem right now."

Sarah smirks as she turns around to face the Goth Kid. "Just because I haven't used them yet," she replies, pulling out one of her silver knives out of her knapsack "doesn't mean I won't use them." Sarah then gets prepared to cast a spell if Goth Kid looks like he is going to rush her, taking a quick look around to see if there are any bystanders that might witness this.
