Sarah doesn't see any bystanders in the all. Good thing too, cause the Goth grin doesn't seem like he'ld care. "Oooh, shiney. But that's not safe for you." He says, patronizing. "I think I'll take it. And, with suprising predatorial skill, he lunges for the knife.

Sarah immediately throws a fireball at the goth kid (strike: 10, damage: 2 md, he needs an 18+ to dodge) Then, she'll attempt to stab the goth kid with her knife (strike: 14+2=16, damage: 5 sdc)

The Goth kid backs up from the fire, its linger funes whisping off, but showing little damage, except his burnt clothes, and narrowly avoids a potential gashing from the knife. "Nice trick." He says. "Try that again. I dare you."

Sarah smirks at the vampire, as she replies "Now, how would I have fun if I did the same thing over and over again?" Tucking her knife away in her pocket, she then casts a spell for a light blade and lunges at the vamp, attempting to hit it. (20 ppe, shows up as a rapier thin short sword - strike: nat 20+1=21, damage: 1d4*10+1 per lvl of xp: 23*2=46 MD)

The saucer-eyed vampire has the look of a deer who thought he could handle the 401. It didn't even have a chance to think as the sword brought it down to its knees. It was staggering, but it would, however, be only a matter of moments before it regenerated enough to fight some more.

Sarah smirks "I always loved this spell. Very handy against vamps, don't you think?" Sarah then attempts to decapitate the vamp with the lightblade. (strike: 17+1=18, damage: 33md)

"Heh... you think you've defeated me? With your little spell?" He asks, "Well, I've..." he didn't finish his sentence as his failed parry lost his head and the two parts slumped to the ground, in the middle of the hall. At first, the vampire looked like it was in its recooperative state but, all of a sudden, it mists away, leaving only the clothes behind.
There's a sound of footprints.

Hearing the footsteps, Sarah quickly cancels the lightblade spell and grabs the vamps clothes and stuffs them into her knapsack. She then quietly and quickly heads back to the bus stop, hoping to avoid running into anyone.

As she makes her way around the corner, back to her bus, she nearly runs into a rent-a-cop walking the halls. "You OK, miss? I thought I heard a scuffle." He says, peering into the hall she just left.

Sarah smiles at the police officer and replies "No officer, I'm fine, thank you." Glancing down the hall, she shrugs and says, "I didn't see anybody. I'm just on my way home from school."
