Sarah smirks at Coop and jabs him lightly on the side with her finger. "You're such a comedian." she teases. (tag)
(OOC: yup, they're in a 2 bedroom now and yeah, Sarah was in the other bedroom)

" I try my best." Coop shrugged with a playful smirk. " If I wasn't do you realize how depressing this whole Decree Slayer thing would be?"

Sarah tries to return Coop's playful smirk, but remembers in the back of her mind about how lonely it was when she had to hide her secret from everyone she was close to, except for her parents. "Yeah," she replies "it'd be pretty depressing, all right." (tag)

Coop tried to cheer Sarah back up with a hug," See? That just means that even the city thinks we should be together." He glanced at the clock. " I'm gonna be late for class again. I'll meet you after you get out of class." With a kiss goodbye, he scooped his books from the counter, calling after Moltavius as he made sure his cellphone was on," I don't suppose you're going past the campus?"

[Cheesy Russian Accent]Is forward of fast? Dah...Supersonik, Electronik[/Cheesy Russian Accent]
*ahem* Anyways... It's end of class day. Turns out professors still expect work to get done, and this ain't Alias where the CIA hires two people to write Sydney's papers: one to write, the other to forge the style so it doesn't look like plagarism. So, assignments were being done to get them in in time...
Anyways... it's a nice evening. Some clouds. Looks like it might rain. The red setting sun's rays shining through the transparant stone walls of the city.
Soon, the pair find themselves at Old World Antiquities, the store front of Crynn'Jol, an ancient, rather recluse elf, rumoured to have great stores of magical knowledge, and to be an ancient shifter himself. Dedicated fans may recall that Crynn'Jol gave Sarah a book a while back, to help give her a more... independent view of her role in the city.
Inside, as the pair peruse, and work up the courage, they split down the different ailes of the curio shop, Coop forced to take the wider, more open spaces while Sarah can navigate the smaller ones.
Soon, Sarah's interrupted by a young Elf, with a monkey on her back. "Can I help you?" She asks, with an out-of-town accent.
Coop makes it to the desk, where Crynn'Jol himself looks up from a paper back about two young men and smugglers at a pirate cove... and one about smugglers at a Norse cave is nearby. "Yes?" He asks in his old voice. "Oh, it's you. I figured the Guild would be sending you by sooner or later. This way." He says, waving Coop towards the back.
"Here. These, I'm sure will be what Tobrias wants you to learn. It's rarely appreciated in an urban environment, but you look to have learned the value of morality and should handle the responsbility well." He says, handing some dusty old books. "Sorry for your loss, young man. But Tobrias made the right call. Those kinds of acitivities must never go unhindered. But you have my sympathies for your rolel in it. That I could never condone." Crynn'Jol's eyes fire up a bit, as if remembering a memory more potent than the one Coop's having. After a moment, the ancient elf resumes his crouched posture and taps the books. "English is in the margins, but the principles are the same for this and general spells." He looks at Coop, seeing if this acceptable.

" Uh thanks, I appeciate it." Coop replied, glad that the elf's comments didn't stir up many memories. He looked at the old books Crynn'Jol handed him, and then back at the elf, then back to the top book again as he opened to a random page and read a couple lines. He closed the book back up, wide eyed and thinking ( Tobrias wants me to learn this? ).
Clearing his throat, he asked, " Did Tobrias mention anything to you about a vision Sarah and I had? It had something to do with a cave or tunnel. Mr. Lockhart thought you might be able to help us."

Crynn'Jol blinked at Coop as he asked this new question. "Oh, the Guild didn't send you, then." Eyeing the books, as if reconsidering the question, he says "Fine, the Slayer will find what she needs out front." He says, with a curmudgeony wave. "Well?" Says the Elf assistant to Sarah, her tone indicating that the monkey on her back may not be only a familiar, but also a literary representation of her current point in life.

Taking the hint from the dismissing gesture, Coop replied a "Thanks" and made his way back to the storefront. When he saw Sarah in conversation with another elf, he decided to look around a bit. A display of old rings caught his attention, Sarah's father's comment repeating itself in the back of his mind as he looked at them through the display case.

"He's busy right now." The Elf says, looking frustrated. "And I'm just as good anyways."
The items are all rediculously priced, even for how shabby they might look. No rings that look engagy.

"Fine." The assistant says, and heads off. Soon, the familiar old man Crynn'Jol arrives. "About the caves, yes?" He asks Sarah.
The Elfish assistant with the monkey on her back arrives next to Coop. "You don't want those. Far too feminine and delicate for your stature." Shuffling him a few feet to the right, amongts heavier amulets and some small knives, she says, "These are more for you. Now, the Master says they're all decorative, but I'm pretty sure one or two have actual magical properties. Of course, if we knew for sure, the Guild'ld come down pretty hard on us for selling magical items innappropriately. But, I see you must have their permission to have those tomes, so I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to take your chances on these."

with the prices already turning him off, Coop replied to the Elven assistant, " Thanks, but I wasn't looking for myself. Just thinking of a gift for a close friend." He walked over to Sarah and held out what Cyrnn'Jol had given him. " Tobrias must have come up with a direction for my studies. Check this out."

Sarah nods at Crynn'Jol in response "Yes. My father suggested I come to you for help on where to start research on what happened."
As Coop comes over, Sarah smiles and asks "Oh? What is Tobrias going to have you study?" (tag)

Coop blushed his embarrassment. " Guess I should have checked that out first." He stepped so she could see too and opened the cover of the top book so they could both see. " doesn't look anything like your books."
