They leave the restaurant and begin a slow quiet walk to the hotel. He interrupts the silence, by saying, "you know maybe you went to far with the drinking and cutting your hand to show me your abilities. It was a good point, but was it worth the consequences?"

She giggles to herself "Worth it if you learned something, and I did so yes it was worth it. Will I regret it? Not really, but will pay for it for the next little while."

"OK, coolio." As they get to the hotel she starts to succumb to the tiredness of practicing all day and performing. That and it has been a lot of highs and lows in this day. So she leans against his chest as if she is starting to become drowsy.

"I will be fine. I am not sure I have to perform tomorrow as I was sent straight through. I think Daveris has to still though. I really hope she gets through. And place of my own would be nice so I am ready for after the fact of whatever happens on the show!"

Kendall pauses for a second looks down at his feet, and then turns her so they are standing face to face. He looks at her and says, "Kristi, thanks for tonight. I had a good time. I'll be honest, a better time than I was expecting. You make me feel like a person again."

"Thank-you, it was an interesting night." She hovers up and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "I am glad I made you feel like a person again!" She then turns and lands while skipping all the way to the elevator.

Kendall cannot help but watch her skip away. With a small smile he turns around and heads out, back towards his truck. He could double time it, but he instead just enjoys a leisurely stroll back to the vehicle going over everything that happened to him the last few days.
Once he gets back to his vehicle he drives straight home. Before walking in he again uses his amplified hearing and motion detector to be sure no surprises are waiting for him.
