"Why would I not want to work with you. I mean you are knowledgeable and despite what you say are pleasant, well at least to me. So yah! And for knowledge, black is not a colour." She giggles.
"Ok so this is a two part, because if you answer no to first part it will save my ass for the next question which is the actual question. Are your parents alive. And if so would you bring a girl like me home to them?"

"Well dad walked out when I was still a baby. Mom raised me or tried to. Wasn't easy for a single mom. That's why I joined the military after high school to take pressure off of her and help out. Sent money home to her. We don't talk much anymore though since I don't like her new husband and the way he treats her. Spoke up about it once, but that didn't go well. I also never told her about my accident. Alot of detail you didn't ask for huh? Well, if we were on speaking terms, it would be my pleasure to take a beautiful girl like you home."
After a pause, "so how bout you, if they were still alive would you take me home to your parents? I'm sorry I hope that's not in bad taste."

"If my mothers were alive, I would gladly of taken you home. They were nice and made sure I knew that my orientation was my choice. And that was too much info, it means I learn about you." She seems to be getting more and more sober quickly.
"Ugh now for the punishment." She says bringing her hands down to her stomach. "Sigh, what can you do though. If this went further then it has, would you, if I asked try to get a hold of your mother. I mean things could have changed after all?"

"My mothers died actually on their way home from watching their baby girl graduate and got hit by a drunken driver. Hence why I will not drive or fly intoximacated. However you should contact her again. As much as you have changes, so may she have. Now back to my question. Hmmmm......do you like animals?"

Kendall calls for the waiter and asks him for some crackers and the check. He pays for everything and leaves a generous tip. He stands and extends his hand (non cybernetic one) to Mei, "Shall we go then?"
