Kendall turns and looks at the girl, "Don't sir me, I work for a living," he says to her. "I don't make any decisions here. I just make things work. You may need to ask someone important. I'm not that person."
After a moment he adds, "but if no one said you couldn't I don't see why not. Just watch out for the cables." He then turns back to his work.

"Thankyou very much. And if we are not to call you sir then, just for ease, my name is Mei and this is Daveris. I already did my performance not sure if Daveris has, but really just was curious on how it looked on the screen and all that. We will be careful of the cables and such!"
Mei beams a smile at him and continues to watch!

Mei continues to look over his shoulder watching as he does the magic on the screen and checks on how he is doing.

Daveris continues to watch. "We have a lot of competition, here." She glances a couple times at Kendall before asking something. "Do you know why the other guy left? He seems to be the only roadie that did, after the... thing."

"Really Daveris, I did not notice that. Mind you I was still kinda spooked seeing I had to talk to the police after what I saw but that is neither here nor there. Now that you mention it though that does seem kinda odd! Do you think that is because he might of caused the incident." She now takes a moment to think things through and to think to herself. Well this is interesting info. Wonder how Daveris noticed so easily. Unless the last guy was cute or something, mind you I was not looking at him. On another note there is some competition to face.
Mei continues to watch hoping that this person called Kendall responds to Daveris's question but also looks at the screen to keep an eye on the competition!

Kendall shrugs at the question. "To be honest, I have no idea. I wasn't here. Maybe it scared him. Alot of people don't like it when things go wrong. Especially when explosions go off where you don't expect them. Or he was involved, or he got a better offer. He may have moved away. He could have been deported, any number of things really. Speculation is a waste of time," he finishes while looking at Mei pointedly.

"I apologize if you find speculation a waste fo time but you have to understand while this event is going on all we have been allowed to do is practice, perform and such. Which inturn leads to very boring times and very, very bored performers. They only let us go shopping one day so far and I found only a couple leads on Condo's." Mei turns to Daveris "Ooh forgot I could be calling some of those places." Before turning back to the Engineer. "Kendall are you from this city as I am Condo hunting and Daveris has been helping immensley but I would still like input from other dwellers of this town!"

"Yeah I live here in CS. There are a few places you should definitely stay away from. Hmm, let me think If I know any place that may have vacancies."
After thinking things over for a moment he says, "I'm sorry I'm drawing a blank right now. If you had the want ads, or one of them house shopper guides from the supermarket I could point you one way or the other."

"I do have those things printed off upstairs from when Daveris and I went to the mall. Maybe when I have a chance I will run up and get it." She stops and thinks for a moment before continuing on "and I apologize if we are pestering you but we have been cloistered in this hotel now for far too long and yah other then our one trip out you are the closest thing to anyone that is actually talking to us. We tried the other day with others but they seemed to scared to talk or kept, well um you know, not looking at us in the eye."
(OOC - I have no idea what kendall really looks like - NM forgot about character sheets!)

(Also, either due to lack of expositing or GM exhaustopetence, but the filming is at a theatre away from the hotel...)
"Oh, don't pester the guy." Daveris says. "He's got work to do. Oh! They're calling us up to the stage again." And she heads down, as the announcer was preparing her voice-over.

Mei then spins around and races up to catch up with Daveris as they head to the stage. She hopes this is where it is revealed who advances to the next round or not but is unsure and does have the slight butterflies fluttering around in her stomach! She follows Daveris and the rest on to the stage or whatever area she is needs to go!
(OOC - Actually that is my bad as well as I did know we were in another place but for some reason my brain just halted on it)

As Dome finalizes and improves the connections, the judges start talking.
"Alright, folks, it's time for the Broadway round." Says one of the judges, Whack Attack. "We will being doing a Gershwin piece, with the dance adapted by judge Horace O'Torus. So, let's get to it."
