"Either way, PA we need to know what he's so interested in." he looked on.
"Telling by the fact he didn't immediately attack we have to presume he and you have a common link." he looked at pay. SPM comment didn't go unnoticed.
"Back home Paragon had several projects to augment humans and meta-humans. he even successfully gave non-powered people powers via a special dispenser device. Mostly radiation immunity, strength, endurance and in very small number Psionic powers." he paused.
"Say, PA, Do you know how you got your abilities?" he wondered if this guy in holding knew something they didn't...

"No." Troubleshooter says. "That would be entrapment. And we los anything he might have to say."
An officer pops his head in. "Lawyer's here." He says. Handing a sheet.
"Regault?" Troubleshooter says, thoughtfully. "Who wants to run a check?"
"Don't know where." PA answers. "Went to sleep for a week, and woke up with them." He says. "Don't know where I slept. Cops never said."
(In the briefing room)
(Team, remember, you can all hear and see what happens, now or later)
An officer walks in and sits down, not saying a word. "One last chance to say something."
Then, assuming Kendall says nothing, a suited fellow in a briefcase comes in. "Well." He says, sitting down. "If I could have a moment with my client, that would help."
The cop, looking like the lawyer had just cut out his Christmas bonus, gets up and leaves.
After the door closes, he faces Dorset. "Bad chess move." He says. "Moving for the king and forgetting the pawns." He pulls out a file. "They have not laid any charges, and are holding you on suspicion. They haven't said what, but it's broad enough that they can hold you for a while unless you give them something they'ld want."

"Not sure what they want. I don't have much to say. I did nothing wrong. They can suspect me of alot of things. Doesn't mean I did any of them."
After pausing for a moment and looking around the room he says, "guess you can have them come in and ask questions. I'm sure you'll keep me from saying anything that will incriminate myself. I do have one question before you bring them in though. Do you represent me or Regault? If its the latter you can just leave now."

"Alright. Quinn, take PowerArmour, he should be able to navigate the system quickly." Troubleshooter says, ushering the pair out.
"I don't know specifically. The Regault Foundation is supposed to be some kind of charitable organization." Says TS. "But this Kendall was very specific. I'm wondering what Regault might be up to."
"Gooosh." Says SPM. "That would be super mean of them to pretend to be charitable. I don't think anyone could be that mean."
(Inside the room)
"So long as our interests are one in the same." He says, bluntly. "But, I am here to defend you, and that is what I will do." He gets up, and heads to the door. "Are you ready?"

The officer entered as indicated. "Mr. Kendall, right?" He asks. "Taken in for questioning this morning..." He whistles. "Suspicions of unlawful bio-engineering?"
(Windchill/Tharsis)
"Mine." Troubleshooter says, watching closely. "Let's see how he reacts."
(Kendall)
"Any statement you'ld like to make before we begin?" The officer asks, putting a tape recorded on the table.

"Yeah, get on with your questions," Kendall says rather curtly. He isn't sure where they got this whole 'Suspicions of unlawful bio-engineering' charge, but he is getting quite annoyed at the whole situation.
