Dateline: Century Station
Tensions are rising to a head as police struggle to quell criticisms in the continued handling to the Labrynth event. Police have blockaded the form Research and Development acropolis in an increasing futile attempt to capture the parties responsible. At the same time, the blockade is being called a human rights disaster, with police violently quelling a number of uprisings by local gangs, and injuring and killing civilians in the process.
Related: Police are becoming concerned about a series of mysterious deaths among Century Station's homeless population. Looking like zombies from various movies, the bodies have been recovered and are being examined by coroners and the CSPD psychic division. Police are referring to it as a serial set of incidences, but that there is no chance the population at large will be injured or killed in the same way...
(Kendall) Getting the kid's address was fairly simple, and he tracked down the apartment, his truck, now de-labelled, was pulling up about a block away.
(SPM, Tharsis, Troubleshooter, Windchill, Arcadian and Power Armour) Trouble-Shooter had explained that since Power Armour was clearly the target, they might as well use him as the bait. Power Armour originally rejected the idea, but was convinced when it was decided he could just stay in his apartment all day, playing his games while he was the bait. The others were given watch points on the streets and alleys. Troubleshooter had specifically told them that this was a stake-out, and no-one was to engage anyone unless someone's life was in danger. They were, however, expected to keep in touch.
About an hour after they had found their positions, Tharsis sees an unmarked phone truck park up the street.

Quinn garbed as a simple streetvender spent his personal funds on a hot dog cart. Set up shop and observed. he also spent a fair bit stocking it. Since he couldn't get that ice cream truck he had to make do.
At least he had dogs, Sausages and Pogo's with him..and hey he might make a few bucks. With a TV/Dvd player he was set to keep active.

Kendall parks down the block from the apartment and looks around. He thinks things over before shrugging his shoulders and getting out. He stretches his legs as his mind is telling him they are stiff, even though another part of his mind knows the robotics cannot be stiff.
He looks at the address and taking one more look up and down the block he approaches the house. He simply walks up to the front door and knocks. Once open he asks for the name in the file.
{ooc: What name is in the file?}

" Folks, we might have our target." Tharsis announced over the radio, spotting the truck. " We've got a phone truck parking up the block. Should I take a closer look?"

(The Team)
Arcadian, distracted by the DVD player, didn't notice the truck until Tharsis announced it.
"Well, by golly, I can see it now. Heavens to Betsy, is it ever a big one." Sock-Puppet man replies over the radio.
"Thank-you for the commentary." Troubleshooter says. "But please keep it to the person's actions."
"Well, in that case." SPM replies, "He's on his way."
"Tharsis, don't engage him, stay out of sight. We need him at the apartment where he can't run so easily." Troubleshooter says.
After a second. "When he's inside, slash a tire." Troubleshooter adds.
"Quinn, keep your eyes open."
The group sees Kendall get out of the truck and walk right to Power Armour's house.
(Kendall) The name on the file was Clifford 'Cliff' Hanger. Had to be fake. Who in real life has a name like Cliff Hanger?
It seemed quiet in the neighbourhood, though, prudently, his amplified hearing has a series of chatter. Hard to pick out... Some of it sounded like some kind of children's show.

" Slash a tire?" Tharsis shrugged as he landed in an alley out of sight and reverted to his Jamison persona. Using the van to hide his approach, he walked near it, waiting for the driver to go inside so he could flatten a tire.

Kendall knocks on the door and rings the bell obviously not getting a response the first time.

"Just one, if it looks like he's running." Troubleshooter amended on the radio.
Then, they hear the knock, and as Troubleshooter quietly directs Windchill to hide behind theliving room door, he points to Power Armour.
Naturally, at Level 12 and nearly 140,000 points (a personal third, for him), PA was not so willing to go, but grudgingly gets up when the doorbell rings.
And, he opens the door, looking more put out than he could have if it was planned that way.
(Kendall) After the bell rings, the sounds of the video game stop, and the young man opens the door.
(Everyone) "Can I help you?" He asks Kendall.
(The SPM, Arcadian, Tharsis, outside)
They can see Kendall at the door with PA. The next order was to close on the house if Kendall went inside and act as a barrier in case he ran. Troubleshooter was very specific that was only to be cornered and hurt as little as possible (hence the tire slashing, if needed).

Kendall steps back a moment when the door opens. He looks at the kid and mentally tries to match his face with the one from the file. "Hello, my name is Peter, I'm looking for a Mr. Cliff Hangar."

(Kendall) It's him. It's so him. "Hold onto your pants." He responds. "Because you found him. Come in."
(Windchill) She could see Troubleshooter suppress a groan at the response to Power Armour's name being "cliffhanger'...
(the others note that Power Armour has invited Kendall in) "Jumpin' junipers is this ever a long time to wait." SPM says on the comm, so that Arcadian and Tharsis hear it. "I feel like my rump will melt into the ground, soon."

Kendall nods as they walk into the apartment, he stops just inside the apartment and looks around. He pauses for a minute and listens with his advanced hearing while sweeping the place with his advanced eye.
After that pause he says, "Nice place, let's cut to the point. I am here to ask you a question. It's actually something someone once asked me, 'What do you know about bio-feedback cybernetic research?'

(In da house) Kendall hears nothing out of the ordinary... his own heart sure was beating fast, though.
"That is was an over-used plot gimic in Genisis Warrior 5: Dark Reign's Terminus." PA/Cliff answers. "Should have known it was crap. The other four were, too. But they promised something new. You know what was new? The lag on the system." The deadbolt slid shut, somewhat ominously, and rather loudly. It was also quite evident that Cliff, if he knew, was trying to lead him off topic. "Why? You from that company?"
Actions?
(Windchill) Troubleshooter motions her to be ready to block the door. Actions?
(Outside da house) Kendall was inside. Time for step 2. Actions?

Realizing that this kid was either playing with him or totally out of it Kendall says, "What company? Terminus? No, I own my own company. I do telecom and satellite systems, subcontract for the phone company too. That has nothing to do with why I am here though."
Kendall pauses and turns and looks directly at Cliff Hangar. "I may be coughing up the wrong tree, but I was led to believe that you could put me in touch with someone. Goes by the name Revenant."
