Ch 6: Tracking a Tracking Tracker (All)

Arcadian listened and looked for the others to best plan his strategy.

Taking a quick glance both ways, Jamison stood next to the van before keying his mic," Better make sure that doesn't happen Socky. Someone might mistake you for a load of dirty laundry and toss you in a wash machine." He reached down as he pulled a pen from his pocket, and pressed the top of it against the valve stem to let the air out of the front tire. " Troubleshooter, our driver is gonna need to call AAA."

GM reminders: Orvis McPhee was the original engineer in question, and left for Newtech. Revenant is no longer a part of the game.

(Kendall, Windchill)
“Don’t now him.” Cliff says, shrugging.

Windchill hears Tharsis’s message.

But then, so does Kendall.

“Maybe.” Says Troubleshooter, stepping out into view, no weapons drawn. “You can start again with what all this is about."

[SPRRROIINGNGNNNNNGNG!]

(Outside)
“Well, gee a tumble in a dryer would be more fun.” Says SPM.

[Dome]

{OOC: Sorry I didn't realize that when i posted. I went to an old post to see who Kendall was was sent after. }

Kendall smiles as he looks at the new arrival. Well obviously not new if already in the room.

"Well seeing as I was talking to Mr. Hangar, that doesn't really pertain to you, whoever you are. Unless you know Orvis McPhee or whoever he is associated with."

[Renekin Skywalker]

"I'm certain I could find out." Troubleshooter says. "If youare willing to co-operate."

[Dome]

"Why would I do that? I cam here to ask Mr. Hangar if he could lead me in the right direction. It seems he cannot, so I guess I will simply be on my way."

[Mierin]

Windchill immediately moves to her position at the back door and takes on her icy form in case anyone tries to use the avenue of escape.

[Renekin Skywalker]

(In the house)
Mr. Hanger was now an armoured metal human blocking Kendall's escape. "Power Armour does me just fine." He says.

"And he's my boss, you want to know, talk to him." He adds, pointing to Troubleshooter. "You want to keep talking me and causing trouble, I have a whole mess of friends to put you in jail."

"He's not lieing." Troubleshooter adds. "So, I'll start one more time. Please explain what this is all about."

(Outside)
On the radios, they can hear PA's posturing and Troubleshooter trying to get information.

[Dome]

Kendall reaches into his pocket and pulls out his cell phone. He dials 911 he says to Power Armor and Troubleshooter, "let me get this straight, I came here to ask a question, I get invited inside and now you wont let me leave although I have broken no laws, and made no threats. I wonder who the police would arrest? I mean what trouble have I made? You don't like people asking you questions you should just say that up front."

He says all this first then into the phone he says, "I'll being held in an apartment and the people here won't let me leave." He also gives the address that he is at to the operator.

While talking he looks around the room trying to decide the best means of escape if his police call doesn't work.

[kurff]

"SPM, Sounds like we should keep an eye out..." he radioed.

[Renekin Skywalker]

GM note: Unless specifically informed, team members only know that their other members say. Not what Kendall says.

(Inside)
Kendall's phone says "911, please state the nature of your emergency."

Even as the voice asks this, Troubleshooter's newly-minted Centurion ID lands in front of him. "No-one will be arrested, yet." He says. "You have been stalking a Centurion. Mr. Power Armour. Nearly ran him over, as I recall seeing on surveillance tape. That's pretty suspicious."

"Alright. Police are on their way." Says Kendell's phone. "Respond with yes or no. Are your captors in the room with you?"

Troubleshooter waves PA down, but doesn't move or even act aggressively while Kendall's making the call.

Windchill is up-to-date on the happenings inside. She seems to have a minute while the 911 call gets processed.

(ouside)
SPM made a visible gesture from his position. He looked about ready to try a nice wall, or something. Tharsis?

[Dome]

"Yes," Kendall says into the phone, then hangs it up.

He looks at Troubleshooter's ID then says, "oh you have ID, that supposed to make this all legal? As for stalking a Centurion, I'm not sure what you mean. Since when is knocking on someone's door to ask them a question stalking? And I have never almost run over Power Armor, in fact, I can say with all honesty that today is the first time I have ever laid eyes on Power Armor."

[Renekin Skywalker]

(Inside)
"Mr. Hanger is Power Armour. I'm pretty sure you've laid eyes on him since you started tailing us yesterday. We have caught you in a lie." Troubleshooter says, calmly. "Windchill, please restrain him until the police arrive."

On the radio, he says. "Tharsis, go to plan B. Front tire only, we need to be able to tow it. Arcadian, Sock Puppet Man, come to the house."

Even as he says this, there is a beep from their pager. The message: "Converge on Power Armour. Hostage near his address." It came from karson.

"Power Armour, let Karson know what we're up to."

"Badge or not." Troubleshooter says to Kendall, getting the ID back. "I do have the law on my side."

[dakota]

" Already flat, bossman. must have a valvestem leak or something." Jamison replied. " I'm going back to my higher vantage point." He walked back towards the alley to transform and fly up to the rooftops.

[Dome]

Kendall knew he was in it now. While technically he hadn't seen Power Armor in this form until today and he was not lieing, he had been tailing the group. Although he didn't have to admit to that just yet.

He mumbles something unintelligible under his breath. No one can make it out, but he is cursing Dorset for getting him caught up in this mess.

He has a choice, make a brake for it, and hope to get away, or let them take him into custody and simply explain himself to them. He technically has done nothing wrong and put no one in danger, however he does not like the feeling of being caught.

He says to Troubleshooter, "look man, I don't know who you are, or what your on about. Why would I tail your group? And if I had been tailing your group why would I just walk up to Mr. Hangar's door to speak with him? Also if I did tail your group, where's the crime? I tell you what, the police are on the way, you claim to work for them, why don't we all go down to the street and wait for them. If you get your man to leave my truck alone I'll even follow you all to the police station where we can all sit and discuss this with my lawyer." As he speaks he looks around for a window, or possible back door he can run out of.

Kendall then begins to move toward the door he entered from even though Power Armor is still there.
