" My name is not Wolf." The Mastodonoid snapped, as he keyed an earmike. " we're clear, meet you at the rendezvous. Two packages in tow." He looked back, motioning for them to follow. " Lets go, before we're spotted."

Sam nods and says "Good idea." As they creep along, Sam asks in a conversational tone, "What is your name then? After all," she adds "I'd like to know the name of our rescuer."

" I'll save you the embarrassment of trying to pronounce, you may call me Richie." the sounds of the firefight start to dwindle as they circle. after a few minutes, he pauses to receive a message. " I copy. You got what you wanted?" Richie's face contorted into what passed for a grin. " copy that, out." He looked back at Sam and Marianna. " You're kind is always narrow minded under fire. They actually thought attacking the transport was our goal." He resumed his pace.

Lobo keeps moving toward the sound of the firefight quickly dashing from cover to cover watching for any threats.

Lobo's alertness spotted the a quartet approaching them from the direction of the now dwindling battle. Three of them were human, but the third was Minotaur. the 'Taur was carrying a large case with CS markings. They hadn't spotted Lobo yet, and Ellie and Shep hadn't caught up, as he was much faster.

Sam grins unseen under her closed visor at Richie's remarks. Out loud, she asks, "Where exactly are we going, if you don't mind me asking." Sam looks around, trying to spot approaching soldiers or attacks.

" Careful, Xurg. You know how hard those are to get ahold of?" One of the humans said to the minotaur.
The minotaur grunted. " You want to carry it?"
Both laughed until the lead held up her hand up to stop the others. " I heard something." They all readied their weapons, searching for what they'd heard.
Shepherd looked at Ellie with a disgusted look. " Did you see where that blasted juicer went?"
" Don't be cute with me, Coalition." Richie replied to Marianna. " Rescuing you wasn't my idea." He tone changed as he led them, through the denser woods, avoiding the paths. " Boss says you two are important to a friend, so once we meet up with the others, we'll send you on your way. Just have to circle around without getting tangled up with any of your other friends."

Sure. Insult my race and nation then tell me not to be cute. Mary thinks to herself.
"Friends? I don't have friends. Only people that want to (she counts off her fingers) use me, kill me, or sleep with me. And the LT here. That's about it." She shrugs, moving on.

Sam smirks at Marianna's description of the people in her life. "I appreciate you not counting me in that list, Smith." she says. Turning to Richie, she says "Might I inquire to the name of this generous benefactor? Like Smith here, I'm at a loss to who would consider me to be a friend."
Turning to Marianna, she adds "I'm sure Sheppard would be throwing a party if I was killed. Tell me, how many Lt's does he need to get killed off in order to get that knife set? 6?"

Richie looked back. " You two obviously don't know Sergeant Trassk that well. It cost him alot to get us to help free you. " He turned back and continued along creating his path. " And from what I'm told, Trassk doesn't get them killed, their own stupidity does."
