Jeckle steps back even as the left arm goes numb. her eyes assess the combat situation and decides that distraction might help. but she chooses to aim at one of charging beasts. she lifts a small handgun that looks more like a flare gun and aims at the Rhino.
'wonder if this will work on you?' *then fires the gun. the oversized round flies out and [hopefully] impacts on the things neck and shoulder .. in an attempt to take out hte neck. [gotta love vehicle stopper type of guns]

Tiger assesses the martial artist attacking Jeckle and Dante. He is obviously very good, she should know who he is - unless its a power. It looks like he has mastered the zanshin technique, perhaps even iai-jutsu as well, and its obvious he has confidence in his hardened body. There wasn't anyone like that on the base... it would have been in the military records.
The giant Crane flys up and over the flames and slams into the much larger Glaurung, gripping the dragon with its legs somersaulting mid air and flipping the dragon into the ground. Crane style, Tiger thinks to herself. She isn't amused by the thought of a giant crane knowing martial arts - judging by the level of skill the man and the crane are displaying, it could be a major problem. Shroud's shot at the crane hits squarely, but does no more damage than Tiger's attacks against the rhino - its a big crane.
Jeckle's shot knocks the Rhino down and it slids into the dirt. It isn't dead, but it takes time for the beast to right itself. It will be a moment before it's back in the fight.
"Dante, Jeckle, he's a master martial artist using Bok Pai Crane Style. Keep your distance." Tiger recommends. Looking up at Pantera she says, "Why can't you learn martial arts?" Then she leaps up into the tree beside the tiger and then both jump over the flames and into the clearing. Tiger blasts away with her revolvers while flying though the air and Pantera landing on the fallen Rhino with claws and fangs.
The martial artist pulls even with Jeckle, leaving Dante alone for a moment, and grabs Jeckle and flips her at Dante, forcing Dante to dodge or catch Jeckle.
The other soldier who arrived from the rear is swinging roundhouse punches at Strongbow, she fights back hand to hand, but when he lands a punch she cries out. He is a heavy hitter - extremely strong.
The Scorpion is sorely hurt from Steelfist's shot and is on its last legs when Khamai attacks it and kills it. Khamai was able to sneak up on it and attack unimpeded.
The Scorpion disappears. One of the soldiers in the clearing goes nuts, spraying the woods in Shroud's direction with his assault rifle, but he is aiming in the wrong direction. Khamai grows larger, at least twelve feet long, and sneaks away in the confusion. The giant chameleon and Kris can now climb at normal speed, and when Khamai returns to the battle the chameleon has taken on the appearance of the giant ant (metamorphosis). Kris and the ant's tamer can sense the difference, but everyone else is completely confused which one is which.
One of the ants moves to where the Crane is pounding the Dragon on the ground, but the soldier fighting Strongbow starts yelling something and sure enough the "ant" sinks its teeth into the crane instead of helping.

Dante does his best to catch Jeckle. He sets her down and uses his telekenitic push to knock the attacker off balance.
(To catch = 13, TK Push = 14 + 2 = 16, Damage = 9, ISP = 4, 1-60% chance of knocking him down)

Steelfist watches Glaurung get pinned by the crane and reaims his rifle at the crane if he can get a clear shot at the crane.

" What the hell?" Khris said in surprise as Khamai changed. " Khamai, the rhino. " He directed as he changed targets with no clear shot on the crane. He lined up the martial artist's shoulder as he thumbed the fire selector back to single shot," Tiger, you only said alive, not unhurt." And he pulled, (21 to hit, 16 dmg)

'hah .. ' *seeing the rhino go down and NOT paying attention to the immediate area. 'ohcra..' *as she gets grabbed and then thrown thru the air. 'ohshi..thanks' *even as Dante grabs her and sets her down. her eyes are huge at that and realizes that her shoulder might actually be cracked or even broken.
her mind back on the current combat situation. she continues to keep distance between her and that fellow that whacked her arm. watching the other now, she lets the neon green gun [with 2 small crows on it] drop to the ground. as she grabs something else for a weapon, and from the feel of it leaves it alone even as she summons Kirin to watch her back. he has other ideas tho, even as she feels him 'move to the battle'. he charges the rhino's butt and tries to stab it with the horn then proceeds to pound on it with the hooves, while avoiding getting hit by the other creatures in the area.
Jeckle angles her body to watch the fight as she finally pulls out the dartgun for self-defense. a billy club will be her last line of defense weapon for close combat. she aims at one of the combatants near her and fires. hoping to hit one of them. the one that hit her must have hard skin. the arm is still numb and hanging uselessly

The martial artist gracefully dodges Dante's telekinetic push as if he knew it were coming, but he doesn't notice Kris' sniper shot until it hits him. He doesn't seem badly injured, and he moves so that Dante and Jeckle are between him and Kris.
The Crane turns to Khamai's ant form and backhands the "ant" with one large wing. Khamai tries to dodge, but doesn't quite make it out of the way, but is plainly unhurt by the minor attack. As Steelfist's shot hits the Crane, Glaurung lays a heavy stream of fire down right at the Crane, forcing it to fly off. The dragon keeps blasting with its fire attack, pursuing the Crane into the air.
Khamai enters the forest and moves to flank the real ant.
Kirin, Tiger and Pantera continue to attack the fallen Rhino, as it struggles to stand under their combined assault. The two soldiers in the clearing empty their magazines in a wild attack. They hit the Rhino, Pantera, Kirin and Tiger all about equally. Tiger is wearing armor, but the other three are hurt - though it doesn't stop them from continuing to fight. All of the damage is starting to impact the Rhino now - its tough, but not invincible and the repeated attacks are starting to add up.
The enemy ant turns its attention to the three attacking the Rhino and tries to bite Kirin, who sidesteps.
Jeckle shot hits the soldier attacking Strongbow, and he responds by punching even more furiously at Strongbow. Strongbow can't seem to get away from him, so she dodges and parries the blows as best she can an lands her own none to gentle punches when she can. The guy is stronger, but he isn't wearing armor.

Jeckle only worries that the soldier is unaffected by the Knock out drug and hopes its shows soon. with only one effective arm she moves so she's out of the way of the martial artist that rendered her arm useless. she does her best to avoid getting hit again, and gets a tree between her and the attacker.
Kirin lashes out with the hind feet at the ant, twice, in an attempt to drive it away. maybe if he blinds the thing that will help or maybe even cut off a feeler that will render it 'useless'. then Kirin continues to pound the Rhino.
[rear hooves attacks do more damage than front hooves striking. here's hoping he hits. let you do the beast battle]
*Jeckle continues to try to get another line up on an 'unarmored person. and will try to take another down with the second dart in the gun. lining up she gets a good bead and then fires.

Dante finally calls forth his Stallion, Nahar, and yells, "Nahar, help stomp the ant biting at Kirin."
He then looks at the attacker and pulls his sword out from behind his back. "Jeckle stay behind me."
He doesn't attack the man, but waits for him to make the next move.

Khris smirked as he swung his sights again, this time aiming at the back of Strongbow's attacker's knee (aimed called shot [-3 for small target?] str 14 , 12 dmg if hits) " Hope Chinese medicare covers knee replacements." He muttered as he released the trigger.

Steelfist tries to track the crane as it files into the air with Glaurung in pursuit the C1A1 Rifle raised aiming for a wing if possible.

The ant managers to dodge one of Kirin's kicks, but is lashed by Nahar's hooves instead. The second kick hits the ant, and it doesn't bother trying to dodge this time, and instead hits Kirin so hard the unicorn is knocked down (the unicorn successfully rolls with the impact for half damage). While the ant is hitting Kirin, Nahar nails it again.
His knee hit, the soldier Kris targeted grabs Strongbow both to grapple with her and also so he doesn't lose his balance. Strongbow continues punching him, and he hits her with his free hand when he has the opportunity.
The Rhino roars to its feet and tries to skewer Pantera with its horn, but the Tiger is too quick for the big creaure. Tiger holsters two of her revolvers and draws the Pilgrim's gun, keeping up her point blank attacks against the Rhino.
The two men who emptied their machine guns are reloading.
The Crane lands a heavy kick on Glaurung, and manages to dodge another spurt of flame. Glaurung's wings withdraw and the dragon drops the earth among the trees, hoping that going to ground will be an advantage for it and not the overgrown bird. The Crane follows.
The martial artist near Dante smiles, and draws a pistol, shooting at Dante.

Dante seeing the pistol, lunges to knock Jeckle down before the shot calling "Jeckle get down," and calls upon a tk shield at the same moment to cover them.
(push down Jeckle, D20 roll = 14, Parry with TK Force Field = nat 19 - 3 = 16. ISP = 30)

Steelfist moves into the trees towards where Glaurung and the crane crashed to the earth. Shouldering the rifle and readying himself for close combat.

" Whole bloody island has to know what's going on by now,"Sputtering again, Khris watched Khamai as he swapped the Dragunov for the AA-12. Knowing the magazine was loaded with double-ought buck, he leveled it towards the two soldiers reloading and allowed himself to become visible, " Drop the guns and call off the critters before I cut the pair of you in two."
