Book Two, Chapter Four: Tamer and Shadow

*Steelfist comes out of his sleep mode quickly and alert at the Comm traffic making a beeline for the Tiger's tent. In his haste forgetting his sidearm and rifle.


(SPD: 80 MPH)

Somehow, Kris arrives at Tiger's tent first. Inside, there is a uniformed Chinese soldier, unconscious.

The faint smell from an armor-piercing high-explosive round still lingers, but of Tiger there is no sign.

Steelfist arrives immediately after, but his sensors tell him that the Chinese soldier is the only person around besides himself and Kris..

[Dome]

Seeing Khris run, Dante runs following him to Tiger's tent. Dante runs up to the down soldier. With no sign of Tiger, Dante bounds the Chinese soldier realizing he may have information as to what happened.

[dakota]

Khris stretched out both his powers and sensors as far as they could reach. " Dante, tell me you can bring this guy around. We need to know what happened to Tiger." He said through gritted teeth as a pang of guilt started to creep in as he suddendy realized his mistake. He knew he'd felt a second creature before she had vanished, and hadn't come to investigate.

The Chinese soldier starts to stir, and mumbles in Chinese.

[Dome]

Dante looks up at Khris, "he is coming around. Anyone speak Chinese? I'll try to grab pictures from his mind, but no promises."

Dante concentrates as he looks into the soldier's eyes.

Telepathy, isp =4

[Dome]

"I thought she was around here."

Dante reaches out with his telepathy and tries to contact Jeckle. He reaches out and tries to touch her mind.
