Khris handed off the sand dollar just before Tiger pushed him off, causing him to duck under for a moment. He made sure that when he surfaced, he came up hard enough to splash her as he grinned and moved closer. Probably too close. " Can't speak for the others, but I'm in no hurry." He slid even closer and his grin grew," no hurry at all."

Jeckle stands up and moves to the shade and settles down again. a part of her mind is wondering about something and why she didn't think of testing the rings in the chamber first to see if they gave off any form of radiation or aura and if it could be 'recorded and filtered out from a human aura to isolate WHO has rings.
*she calls out as she stands again 'its getting too .. uncomfortable in this for me. i gotta go change. it was fun tho, thanks for the break. enjoy yourselves' *with that she turns and heads into the brush back towards camp

Dante watches the others and notices Jeckle get up to leave. He gets up and follows her and says, "hey how are you doing? We haven't had much time to talk since our job in CS. I wanted to see how you were doing after the fire."

*Jeckle pauses and looks back and ponders her response*
'doing okay. kinda embarrassed that my fear stopped me dead like that. proved a liability to the group. not an easy thing to come back from once in a lifetime but i had to go through it twice. i'm adjusting tho, thanks for asking'
*she continues to avoid the sunshine patches. then inserts a finger into the collar and adjusts it slightly, 'so .. how you been?'

Khris watched the beach as Jeckle left, followed by Dante. " I've had some time to consider it, and I still think leaving the team is a good idea, and you should come with me." He turned back to Tiger to explain," If we go independant, we can pick and choose our jobs. No more being handed garbage jobs. " He floated a little closer, " And no more breaking up the team out of convience. You handle the leading, and I'll bankroll us to get started. Probably won't take much to convince Jeckle and Dante to come along, and the new guy too." He held up his hand enough that Khamai's ringwas above the water. " Not to mention we won't have to explain these to Mr. Alexander or that weasel Travis."

Tiger grinned, "First you tell me you are in no hurry and then you start looking ahead past the mission."
She sighed, "I'll think about it. Right now I'm focused on getting us all through this mission intact. We'll see where we stand after that and re-evaluate. Sooner or later we might need to get out of Omega Shield."
"I think we can keep these a secret though...." she says looking at her ring. Tiger smiles once more, "Let's see what our next assignment is. If its a bad one, or somehow tainted by my father, we can escape. If it seems reasonable, we can get some more bankroll."
She looks to the shore. "This is nice though, maybe what we need after this is a little vacation."

Steelfist continues being alert without appearing so using his Bionic Sensors to keep an eye on things while he admires the 'Scenery' of the beach.

'well ... not sure if you will find answers. i can't seem to figure my way past this .. and i don't honestly think its a fact of 'last man standing either ... could be a 'group effort' that is needed to finish whatever task is here'
*she holds up the hand where her 'creature' resides in on her hand. 'don't wanna take it off .. but i had this thought .. that maybe the rings gave off some kind of aura or energy that could be picked up and the filtered to isolate the ring wearers .. but that's kinda a lame reaction to not finding anything of importance yet'

Two Days Later
The next two days pass relatively uneventfully, with the soldiers settling into a regular routine of partying and barely attending to their duties.
Jeckle and Strongbow make a discovery... while the rings don't give off any meaningful energy, while one of them is off they discover that the creatures can be summoned whether the ring is currently being worn or not - even if the ring is across the room or on the other side of the camp, calling the creature's name still summons it.
While the team is meeting regarding this discovery, Shroud detects four of the creatures nearby - just a little ways outside the camp, moving south.

Khris stiffened as he sensed the creatures enter his range. " We've got company, bypassing the camp. I better take a looksee, but it feels like someone else found that cave. Four of them." He was already prepping himself to leave.

"Four of them?" Tiger asks. "We'd better back you up. We'll move out one minute after you do."
"Ready?" She asks everyone, checking over her weapons and putting on her armored coat.

Jeckle just stands and moves to her coat [waist length this time cause of the jungle and slips into it. she looks at the leg braces and then pulls the power pack and brain of it out so its just useless metal left behind and tucks them away. her weapons seem to appear in partial completed stages, but its more a fact of 'building what is needed for the right terrain and use.
'yeah .. i'm as ready as i'll ever be. the signal should have registered an alert if anyone went in the cave tho. wonder if the creatures on the wall that have died so far have returned? .. sorry .. i'll stop with more questions
