Rhys holds his vibro blade an inch away from the kids neck.
"Tell me what you are doing out here kid." His voice cold threatening and menacing.

"Woah, woah Rhys calm down..." Ellie removed her helmet, trusting her senses to inform her of danger, and smiles at the boy (MA: 17= 45% trust, PB: 18= 40% charm/impress). "Let me try to talk to him." Ellie trys to get Rhys to back off. If the boy trys to run I will put a force field up around him.

" Let go of me, you stupid skullhead!" the boy shouted, struggling against Rhy's grip. The panic in his eyes is obvious as he stares at the vibro blade. " You might be able to bully everyone else, but not me" He looks at Mendez and nearly laughs. " Alert the enemy? You are the enemy, you dumb skullhead."

"Hey calm down there. We just want to know a few things. Thats all. Can you help us?" Ellie looks at the boy smiling. She looks over to Mendez "Sir, is it alright if I talk to him?"

Rhys smiles behind his helmet at the panic in the boy's eyes. Glancing at Ellie he maintains the grip on the boy but retracts the blade. He looks to the Col. "Well sir we have ourselves a prisoner."

The boy fought against Rhys grip, and breathed a sigh of relief as the blade retracted and lestened his efforts. He glared at Ellie for a moment, but his stare seemed to pass right through her." Why should I help you? This crudhead just tried to kill me and I didn't do nuthin cept spook him a bit. I never could have hurt anyone with that armor of your." He motions to his battered hunting rifle lying in the grass.
He looks over his shoulder at Rhys. " Prisoner, are you kidding? You want to get out of here alive, you better let me go, or the Sarge will hunt you down, all of you!"

Tightening his grip on the kid Rhys glares. He glares under his helmet. "Who is this 'sarge'?"

Ellie looks again to the boy "We're only here because we're looking for some of our comrades. They're being held captive somewhere and we just want them back. We don't want any trouble." She looks pleadingly at the boy.

" Sarge is my friend. Ow, you're hurting me!" He winces as the grip tightens. With tears welling up , he turns to Ellie with a pleading look. " I saw your friends pass here a few hours ago, heading the way you came. Please, make him let go of me."

Mendez looks at the kid and asks;" Whats your name son? what are you doing out here and who is this sarge?" Mendez motions for rysh to loosen his grip, and then i prepair a truth syrum( sodium pentathol) in my hypo, incase the kid isnt forthcomming.

Rhys loosens his grip back to what it was before he tightened it but he doesn't let go of the boy. He waits for the boy to answer the Colonel's questions.

With a dirty look back at Rhys, he shrugs his shoulder against the grip before turning his attention to Col' Mendez. " My name is Daryn, and I was out hunting when you came up the trail. this is the first time any of you skullheads got snotty about my potshots. And I told you , Sarge is my friend. He helps out our village out when he can."
his eyes got wide when he spied the needle, and panic began to set in " Wh.. what are you gonna do with that? I told you what you wanted to know, honest!" He pleads, backing away from Mendez, pressing his back against Rhys

Dyson moves up to the boulder the kid jumped down behind with the rest of the squad after Rhys caught him.
Dyson watches Rhys threaten the boy uneasily, his slight grimace hidden by his antique helmet. When Rhys retracts the vibro-blade Dyson relaxes, but realizes that the kid has distracted them from any other possible dangers in the area. Dyson quietly takes up a position next a big tree 20' away from the boulder and starts scanning the surrounding area for anything threatening.
