Shepherd wipes his mouth, and rolls to face Mendez with a glossy eyed smile." Sorry sir, I'm kinda busy right now. He can fill you in." He points towards Dyson and turns to where he'd left off divulging his stomach.
Snowball nods silently, and moves to a defensive position behind the group, his rifle at the ready.

Ellie looks to Mendez and says "Sir, don't forget to inform them of Lt. Gantry. He looks a little out of place..." She points to him with his riftle pointed towards the retreating creature. " Shouldn't we introduce him to the rest of the group?" She has a quizzical look on her face.

"Colonel", Dyson says, then stops, his mind not willing to focus on something as mundane as his commanding officer seconds after seeing a gargantuan crocodile walk by, but he forces himself and continues " Sir, after being separated from the rest of the squad, Sgt. Trask, Pvt.(sp?) Snowball and I were attacked by two D-bees like the ones we had been fighting. Sgt. Trask was hit in the head by one of them before we could kill them, I think something's wrong with him, he was out cold after he got hit, he couldn't stand when he woke up and he's been talking with a slur. He was also acting weird when he found his bag open when he woke up."
Dyson takes a moment to catch his breath.
" After being attacked, we received your radio message and continued to this location."

As Snowball covers the rear of the group Rhys takes up position in the brush ahead after scouting a bit of the area He moves about 5-10 yards ahead of the group and takes up a defensive position hiding in the brush.
(let me know if any rolls are needed. I have both prowl and camouflage)

Ellie looks to Shep, then to Mendez "Sir I'm going to check on the Sgt." Ellie walks over to Shep "Sir, may I check up on you?" She gives him a warm smile under her helmet.
If he replys yes: Paramedic Roll 09% of 50%, Whats the Diagnosis?
If he replys no: "Alright Sir," and she'll return to the Col.

Shepherd rolls his eyes and then winks at Ellie. " Just gimme a shot, kid, I'll be fine" He turns his attention to Dyson, listening to the report." What do you mean, acting wierd? Let me club you over the head like that and we'll see who's thinking clearly." He tries to pull himself to his feet, but looses his balance and flops back to his seated position.
" Dammit" he grumbles, pulling himself to his feet, using the stock of his rifle to steady himself. " It's just a personal thing, sir. I don't like anyone on my pack. Had a squadmate pack my bag for me years ago and he forgot to put my extra ammo in it. I ended up pinned down in a fire fight with an empty weapon because of it. Now I don't like anyone around my bag." He explains with a deliberately slowed voice in a feeble attempt to control his slurring.
He turns to Gantry, giving him a puzzled look. " Lt. Gantry, can't say I ever heard of you on base. Just what we need, another greenhorn officer. What are you doing way the hell out here?"

Ellie easily recognizes the symptoms of a mild concussion from Dyson's description and her examination

Mendez to Dyson; " thank you , carry on secure the area with the rest of the squad." Mendez squats down and looks at shep: " follow my finger with your eyes. " moves a finger back and forth across sheps face, then holds two fingers up: " how many fingers am i holding up, and what day is this?" then at last shines a pen light in sheps eyes and checks for reaction. diagnosis 26 out of 85% " Looks like you have a concussion Shep, Ellie is going to have to baby sit you for a little while, but you should be ok to move in a minute or two. Ellie see that he is ok until i say so" if i notice shep about to complain, i cut him off and say in an easy tone;" thats an order shep." then too ellie;" now let me figure out this gantry situation." Walks over to gantry;" as of today this is my squad LT, and will continue to be so until this mission is completed." looks him over;" now what are you doing out here? and whats your Division, unit and mission Lt."

Rhys continues to cover the forward position. Hiding in the brush using it as cover. He scans using his telescopic feature of his multioptic eye.

Ellie touches Shep on the forehead "This should help you a lot Sir." She lets the healing power of psychic energy run its course through him. Ellie turns to Mendez "Yes Sir,"
OOC Healing touch on Shep 6hp or 8sdc, whatever damage he took

OOC: The colonel and Mendez, played by Cabal, are one and the same. if you go to the cast forum there are entires for most of the players, and when you get around to it you should do a short write up of your character there to.

"I am not interested in running your squad sir, just not used to seeing a Colonel in charge of a squad, that's usually a Sergeant's job. By the way, what are you guys doing out here, or is that classified sir?"

Rhys half listens to what the others are saying while keeping most of his attention on keeping an eye out for trouble. Weapon stays at the ready while he keeps a careful look out for any signs of the enemy or any other troubles.
