" not feeling anything, bosskitty, but I haven't been concentrating on them either. Here, give me the blade." He said to Dante, " and I'll swing around in a wide arc to make it look like we doubled back on ourselves. It'll give the rest of you chance to go down and find another way in."

* Jeckle just gives a half smile at the idea. then she looks at the rock 'well .. it was a thought. not sure how to make this look like its just .. you know .. normal. i'm sure there is something. maybe a transplant or two ? .. well of smaller plants i mean or a rock or two from deeper brought in and placed ? .. and i think i'm gonna shut up now ... '
*she looks at the size of the hole, then at her coat with all its gear. she's not looking forward to crawling about again.

Tiger nods, "Good idea." She disappears down the hole. She relays back to the team by her comm. "I'm taking the right hand path."
A few minutes later, "Going down."
"Staying on the path straight ahead."
And after a short pause. "Follow my directions and meet me down here. I've found something."
By following Tiger's directions through the maze of tunnels, the room opens up into a large cavern big enough for several people to stand up in. The room is filled with an eerie glow and thousands of small cave paintings line the walls, each one with a small silver ring attached to the wall under each painting.

'oh jeez .. i hate small spaces ... ' *that being said she simply takes off the over coat and then the harness and straps holding additional equipment she bundles everything in the coat and then with the belt, ties it to her ankle and then heads in .. taking the same directions.
*once in the clear, she stands up and looks about and then crabwalks away from the opening and radios back 'clear .. a bit tight in a couple of places' *she gets her coat untied from the ankle and then reattaches the gear. a faint clicking is heard as parts connect.
she comments to Tiger as they are currently alone 'man it felt like i was just in my altogether there. oh and Shroud is gonna continue with a false trail and circle back .. oh right .. you heard that. sorry. interesting pictures ... '

Dante hands the blade to Khris but says, "That one's my favorite man, make sure I get it back."
When Tiger calls up that she found something he looks down. "You go ahead Jeckle, I'll be right behind you, as soon as Khris gets back.

" Dante, go ahead, I'll hear if anyone comes up onto the hole, and I'll take care of things. The ladies may need you don't there before I finish my circle." Khris said as he started off, and taking his time. He was in no hurry to get back to the hole. He knew how Jeckle felt as she had voiced her concerns about going into the crevice, but had no intentions of voicing his own.

Tiger looks over at Jeckle and then around at the room. "I heard, yes." She doubts any skill her or Jeckle have will help in here. This must be magic. All she can do is think. Maybe when Dante arrives he can detect something...
Strongbow and Ionic soon follow Jeckle into the cavern. Tiger continues to look around the room. In the faint glow she spots a pictogram of a human figure. That would be the one her father would have chosen. All of his minions were human, and they were his favorite kind of creature. She shook her head to clear it. Her father had failed, which meant thinking like him would get them nowhere.
Several of the rings are missing, and the paintings above them are faded away. "Some are missing," Tiger says. "I don't think we are supposed to take all of them. Look around and think. We only want one thing, a thing that can take different forms at different times. This is the first test: which one or ones are we supposed to take? And is how we take them important?" Tiger wonders briefly if some of the rings are traps, but the cave walls look natural enough, with no signs of any traps.

*she looks at the pictures and avoids touching any of the rings. she tries to figure out if there is a pattern to them. the glasses are lowered from the eyes to examine them with her eyes. she utilizes her talent to memorize them all in order from the cave opening to the right and finally back to her starting point.
'wow .. too bad i have to try and just remember these. i wish that i had a camera to examine these later. could learn a lot from them .. now just .. '
*her mind slips gears and she ponders things from a logical point of view [logic problem = cryptography check]

There is no particular pattern, especially the missing spaces, which seem to be chosen entirely at random. The layout is more artistic than ordered.

Khris continued hisloop, sensing Dante still waiting for him and he scowled in the dark. He considered slowing a bit more, but didn't want to make it obvious he was stalling.

Dante coming to a realization, reaches out to Khris ans says in his mind, 'I get it...no worries...your secret is safe...I'm heading down..stay safe...I'll reach out to your if there is a problem.'
Dante heads down the tunnel and makes slow steady progress until he catches up to the others. Standing up when he can he walks up to the others as he dusts himself off, "Well ladies, what did I miss?"

Tiger looks at Dante, "Can you read objects? I'm not really sure exactly what our next step should be and I'd like to proceed carefully. I can touch one first if you are worried its not safe, but I think you should scan at least two different ones so we can get an idea how to proceed. Do you agree? Or do you have some other idea how we can get one item from all this," she waves her hands indicating the hundreds of animals and monsters depicted on the walls, each with their own ring.

Khris sighed to himself as Dante's voice touched his mind. He had hoped none of the others would catch on, but he relaxed as he felt Dante descending. He continued his loop without altering his pace, all the while reaching out with both his implants and powers.

He looks around the room and says, "Khris is going to stay up top and watch our backs. So your pretty sure the object we are after is one of these things? Well I can read each object, but i have to touch each one and read it. If that's what you want me to do, its best I get started. Don't touch anything. If you pick up the item, I might not pick up anything about the original owner, and only information about you. Where should I start?"

Tiger closes her eyes and thinks for a moment. "Pick any two, tell me what you find and then we will try to determine if we can pattern the search. It would take a long time to read all these, but we will if we have to. What sorts of things will you be able to uncover?"
