(Jessica) Without the needed electrical skills, it is not possible to know the level of wiring needed, though looking it over shows, to some degree, that the room was made into a standing observation room from a control room. The linkage outlets were there. It would take just a standard console desk. But Arcturis or Deviss would have to be the ones to set it up. Until then, the bay would have to be controlled from the bridge or the external keybox.

Jessica sighs to herself and heads to the engineering room to find Deviss and Arcturis. When she finds them, she tells them "I need you to take a quick look at the old control room to see if it can be reset up so we can control the cargo bay. Let me know what you find out." She then goes looking for Tawfeek to update him on the situation.

" Captain, I have a list of supplies we are going to need to bring med bay up to snuff." McKenna said into the comm. " should I bring it up to you or do you have another system in place for procurement?"

"Alright." Tawfeek says. "Bring it up and I'll have a look."

Jessica heads to the bridge and tells Tawfeek. "Everything is secure." she tells him. "The only problem is that the control room for the cargo bay was stripped, so we can only control it from the bridge or the external keybox. I asked Deviss and Acturis to take a look at it to see if it's possible to get it back up and running."

McKenna made her way to the bridge. she waited a moment not to interrupt Jessica before offering the handwritten list to Tawfeek. " I indicated the necessities at the top, and the rest are when we have chance. sorry about the handwriting, it's a doctor thing." she grinned slightly.

"Yeah, what kind of budget do we have?" he asked with a touch of sarcasm, "so we can rent a tug to get going...kidding."
"I think this can work. I've seen new prototype Plasma engines in worse shape. We can fix those welds easy enough. We should add a layer ablative armour on the hull as well. It will look like were a bit of a wreck and divert pirates form hitting us." he looked over the damage.
"Even cleared engines still have flaws. Hell, some of the Ion MK1 are unable properly fly in certains types of radiation...You never saw that advertised. I'll look up the engine and get a look at the designers notes sometime." he climbed up and looked for the welds.

Flip looks over the nav and control consoles and evaluates them as to functionality
Basic Electronics=40% roll= 38 Damage control and Disaster response=45%, roll = 22

(On the bridge) Tawfeek handed the list back without looking. "I won't take any risks misinterpretting any of it. If your handwriting is bad, then type it out. Then give it to Stephens."
Turning to Jessica, he says. "Make sure the list is legible. I don't want to order cyanide when she means insulin. We'll go over the practicality of the order after the shakedown run."
Flip finds the bridge controls to be in good order. Not military quality, and certainly not top of the line, but well-maintained and functioning.
(In the engine room) Deviss sighs a bit. "Kid, you don't need to keep giving me your qualitifcations. This ship is probably older than you. If the original engines are still here, mods or not, it means they're fine and will only need up-keep. And don't panic about them. THis isn't some testing site. THings will happen, sure, but that doesn't mean we gotta keep them to specs all the time. And you gotta be ready to accept that this will be far more interesting than any notes."
The welds were factory-done. Clean, solid. Pros touched this engine to get it going again.

Trying to hide she didn't appreciate being blown off, McKenna took the list back. " I'll see to it right away." she replied, turning and walking away. she returned to medlab and sat down in front of the computer station and began to type it up immediately after turning on the system's music player, filling the med bay with soft classical music. She sputtered as she typed, " Fine, I'll make sure it's legible then."

All I'm saying is with a bit of work we can tweak it to get a few features to help us out." he paused as he looked around. "We can make our engines a little more stealthy and less trackable. Stuff like that." he commented with a shrug.

Jessica nods at Tawfeek and replies "Sure, no problem." Smiling in a friendly manner at McKenna, "Just come and find me when you're done. I should be easy enough to find."
After McKenna leaves, she tells Tawfeek "I would like to request a room that I can use for the building and modifying of our weapons - I also think it's a good idea of that room is heavily restricted so only you and I can enter it."

(Engine room) "We'll worry about that kind of stuff after the shakedown." Deviss says. "For now, all I need for you to do is watch the system. This may seem like the easiest part of a job, but even in your theoretical tests, you needed to watch every dial. Same deal here. Except, if you screw up, we all die." With a pat on the back, Deviss heads to the opposite side of the side, saying "But, no pressure, right?"
(In the Med-lab) As McKenna types, and remains all frustrated from the shoulder-devil egging her on, a shoulder angel also appears, reminding her about what the bartender said, about how this is a business and all that.
(On the bridge) Flip sees a light flashing about something approaching the ship.
Tawfeek looks over at Jessica. "Thinking of making it the formal armoury?"

Jessica nods at Tawfeek. "I think that'd be the smartest thing to do." she replies "Unless you can think of a better idea?"

McKenna wasted no time typing up the list, and took the time to give a brief description of the those that weren't self-explanatory. she also double checked it and re-prioritized it before printing it off. With it in hand, she made he way back to the bridge, taking her time to regain her level-headedness.
