(Jessica) Tawfeek had certainly given her enough warning about coming to Freedom Station to pick her up. Something about getting a new ship and wanting Jessica's advice on security and 'the best use of space for all business purposes' as he had put it. The ship, a couple hundred metres long, and clearly meant for long-haul shipping, pulled into the docking rampart. From the viewport, she could see Tawfeek's form leaving the bridge as the ship powered down. About 10 minutes later, he met her in the waiting lougne. "Well?" Was about all the greeting she got from him, as he pointed to The Galaxy. "Got it a little used, but in good shape. Laika-built ships last."
(Everyone else) A posting had shown up in the want ads... one among the hundreds like it: Experienced captain needs crew for freighter. Long haul experience preferred. Inquire at Docking loung AA5, Friday.
It is currently Thursday.

Jessica can't help but say with a grin "You paid money for this?" in a cheerful tone of voice that clearly had the undertones of 'You got robbed!' in it. Turning to him, she adds "It's great!"

"You're luck I need your help." Said Tawfeek calmly. "Or you'ld be out looking for work with the rest of the rabble. "Well. Should I give you the 10-cent tour?"

Jessica continues to smile undaunted. "Sure!" she replies "A tour would be great."

"Alright." Tawfeek says, smirking. He takes her into the ship, it looked a little used, but not the worse ever made. "The good news?" He taps a panel. "Solid as a rock." The panel slid to the floor. "Solid as shale." He modifies.
"I have a hydroponics room, medical bay. Through here... oh, let's look at the hotel." After showing the passenger berths and the lounge, he walks her up through the main galley up to the top deck. "You'll get one of the XO rooms. Since you're going to be a second in command." After a second, he walks her to show her the cargo bay from an observation room. "I'm pretty sure there used to be a control panel here. But I'll fix that up later."
Then, the bridge, through which, Jessica can see the lounge she was waiting in. "Simple controls. Seats for passengers. Overall, not too bad, eh?"

Jessica looks at everything quietly, nothing where everyone is. She can't help but smirk as the panel falls to the floor but doesn't say anything. "It should do nicely," she tell him. "have you hired any one else for the crew yet?"

"Nope. I have an engineer on the line." Tawfeek says. "But, other than that, I need the crew... Maybe I should hire some kind of maid. For the berths. Maybe my Quarters. Captain's priveleges."

Jessica grins. "Of course." She gestures to her stuff "Is this boat secure enough that I can leave my extra things here, or should I take them with me when we go out recruiting?"

"Your stuff should be safe. We'll be interviewing in the landing lounge anyways." Tawfeek.
"You should stay the night, you know, try it out! You get your stuff." The captain adds. "Then we can go over the security requirements. In the meantime, I'll need to requisition supplies."

With her hands folded behind her back and the ignoring catcalls from a pair of passerbys, McKenna watched the holo-ads scroll by. " There's go to be something here." She muttered as she perused thru a few more until one fairly vague one caught her eye. " AA5. Hmmm, I've never tried longhaul. Why not?" She said, pushing her glasses up on her nose.
She walked to the nearest observation lounge overlooking bay AA5. she didn't know much about freighters, so she had no idea if she was even looking at the right one for sure. McKenna whistled slightly at the size of the docked vessels as she folded her arms, " The med shuttles I flew wouldn't even make a decent runabout for that."

(Hatfield) If her math was right, the one in AA5 was a twin-bowed, modest transport. Certainly not as impressive as the Laika Industries 1000 (As indicated by the flashy writing and go-faster stripes; it was a demontration model) freighter that was pulling in to dock.
(On the ship) Tawfeek looks over at the Laika Industries model freighter pulling in... and a little lustily. "That's an impressive ship. Not that 227s like these aren't bad. Be with you until the day you die."

Flip looks over the board desperately looking for a job. 'You would think employers would be glad to have a pilot that can perform evasive maneuvers. You never know when you have to run from pirates. Ah here's one. Docking lounge AA5, Friday. I'll show up and see if they need a pilot.'
Flip shows up to AA5 Friday first thing in the morning to look for what he hopes is his future employer.

'Blacksmith' made his way through the station to AA5. pulling back the Hooded sweater he looked somewhat like Dr. Frankenstein with the armored coat over his work 'armor'. This job was far less in pay check than his last gig.
But there was no way he was about to take on that sort of project like his dad. spotting the ship. he headed toward it.

Those that try to get access to docking lounge AA5 find it is closed until the appointed hour the next day. Though, they find a small stream of people passing through, some to find the lounge. Others, like in Hatfield's case, to check out the ship itself to see if it's worth their time.

Jessica can't help but grin at Tawfeek as she replies "That's because it's a death trap." Grabbing her gear, she tells him "I'll be unpacking a bit when you want to start going over security details or if you need help with anything." Jessica then heads to her room and puts her bag down on the bunk and sits next to it, looking around quietly.
