Isamus face drops. He shakes his head, 'this is very bad,' he thinks.
He slowly walks over to Alan and kneels down and tries to check him to see whats wrong, he looks for obvious signs, blood, cuts, and a pulse. He had some holistic medicine skills, but no real first aid skills.
He knows he has to find Ashley, but he has to check her brother first.

Stopping to check on Alan, he is responded to by a muffled groan. "whu hit me?"
There was no sign of Ashley.

Isamu says, "we were inside. We do not know what happened. Are you ok," he asks the man. He is still trying to check for injuries before he looks around the yard to determine if he can pick up where Ashley went.

"Something hit me from behind. Hard." Alan said as Isamu was checking him. " Ash was coming at me all crazy eyed and snarling like. I thought you hit me."
At the same time, the wind shifted, and Isamu smelled the same pungent odour he had smelled at the airport. Exactly the same.

He says, "I had no cause to hit you yet, and I would never do so from behind none the less. Be glad you went down before Ashley reached you. It may have saved your life. You should really re-think how you deal with your sister in the future, your life may depend on it," concern can be heard in his voice.
Isamu takes a deep breath through his nose. Smelling the smell, his lip curls, and his face shows genuine anger. "I have smelled that before. I need to get to the aquarium. I believe someone took her there," he says to the parents.

"The Aquarium? what is at the aquarium?" Leila asked as she and Freddie met Isamu and Alan in the back yard.
"Where did Ashley go?" Freddie added, helping to steady Alan.

Isamu looks around the yard. "I think she may have been led or taken there," he says looking around for a path out of the yard, or a trail Ashley may have made as she left the yard. If he spots one he will start heading that way.
"The last time I smelled this smell was when Ashley was talking to a man that works at the Aquarium. Perhaps I can catch her before she gets too far out of the area. Which is the fastest way from here to the street?"

"Isamu, you are not making any sense." Freddie explained. " We all know about Ashley's change, so you do not have to try to hide it from us, in fact we were not sure you did until you showed your concern for her going after Alan. " Does this have anything to do with that?"
"I can drive you there." Leila offered.

Isamu is stopped in his tracks and looks at Freddie, "you know about Ashley? The way she spoke, I just assumed it was a secret," he trails off.
"I do not know if that is related to where she is now. I know in our work, we have had problems follow us at times. I do not know if that happened now. What I know is on one of our flights there was someone that Ashley knew from her past. By coincidence he was at our hotel as well. Ashely was talking to him before we left to come here. Something was different. It was as if something had affected her. I could smell something when that man was around. The look he gave me when he and her were talking was near predatory."
Isamu pauses and looks them all over, "She said his name was Tim, they went to high School together and now he works at the aquarium. I can think of no where else she could be."

Ashley's father chuckled, " Son, she was so out of it when she was attacked by the bear, she does not even remember I flew to Canada to make sure she would be okay, but could not stay long because Leila was very sick at the same time from her chemo."
Leila hung her head," It is a family trait. The rest of us do not like to share our secrets. The fact we tell you these things shows we have accepted you as one of our own. Alan, do you know who she could have meant?"
"Yeah." Alan nodded with a sheepish expression. " Remember the big guy Ashley got in trouble with the other girls for picking on for being overweight? He's build like a brick sh...outhouse now. I ran into him a week ago and he asked about Ash. I told him she lived in Miami now." He shrugged
Freddie spoke up," I will take you to the aquarium, Isamu. Leila, you deal with your father. His old grudges towards Isamu's heritage will not interfere with their happiness, especially over something over seventy years ago."
Leila nodded and handed Her husband the jeep keys. " Be safe."
Freddie looked at Isamu, "Ready?"

Isamu shook his head in confusion, "she does not know you all know? Do you know what kind of stress that put her under?" He turns and looks at Alan, "you know and you still push at her? Do you not realize what she can do to you," he asks him still shaking his head. "Never mind, it is not important now."
"Take me there please. The man will not be a problem no matter his build," his voice turning gravely and filled with anger.
He takes a deep breath, his face once again getting that nearly calm demeanor. "I must stop in my room." He heads to his room, and looks through his bag pulling out his federal ID and Ashley's as well, thinking it may be needed. He grabs Ashley's phone and dials McCoulter. Whether there is an answer or voice mail he states flatly, "Ashley has gone missing, I believe it is related to her past and has nothing to do with our work, however you should know I am going to find her and nothing will stand in my way," his statement over, he waits only moments for a response before hanging up and heading for the waiting vehicle.
Holding the badges in one hand he climbs in and closes the door with the other, "once you drop me off, you should leave. I will find Ashley."

"We are wasting time if Ashley is in trouble." Freddie took the keys and headed to the Jeep, while Isamu returned to Ashley's room. Once they had started it and were underway, he glanced over at Isamu," Do not judge us, Isamu. Ashley does not want us to know, so we oblige her that."
At the same time, isamu finally managed to access Ashley's phone. Once he dialed MacColter's phone, it was picked up on the second ring, "Hello?" When Isamu rattled off his message, Mac tried to get a word in but Isamu's abrupt hanging up cut him off.
When they arrived at the aquarium, Freddie nodded," I will not go far. Call me when you are ready to go. Be safe, son." He nodded , then drove off, leave Isamu at the closed gates. Again the phone vibrated an incoming call, just as it had been almost constantly since he had called and hung up on MacColter.

Isamu responded to Freddie, "you must understand, I do not judge, I just do not understand. I lost my parents when I was very young. If they were alive I would tell them everything. I know Ashley, the reason she did not tell you or the family about her condition is her fear that you would not accept her and it would end her relationship with her family. You all know, and you seem to accept it."
Isamu got out of the car and nodded at Freddie. "If the police come, do not stay around. If anyone approaches your vehicle, just leave. I will find your daughter."
He watches Freddie drive off.
He turns and looks at the Gates of the Aquarium as the phone goes off again. He looks down at the phone then up at the gates. He sighs as he answers it, "hello?"

"Isamu? What the devil is going on over there? You got cut off on your first call." MacColter replied on the phone. The team director sounded genuinely concerned as he asked.
The aquarium was locked up for the night

Isamu doesn't want MacCoulter to tell him to stand down, or wait for backup or anything like that, because he wasn't going to but he answered the phone so he had to atleast hear him out.
"Ashley has gone missing from the home of her parents. Before she disappeared I heard Kodiak, and when I reached outside she was gone. Her brother who had been with her at the time was hit from behind and rendered unconscious. The only clue that was left was an odor that I only experienced once before when we met someone she once went to school with. I smelled this sweet odor, Ashley was talking to this person and acting strangely."
He pauses and looks at the Aquarium. "I know it is not much to work with, however it is all I have."
He tries to determine if there is a way he can use his abilities to get into the aquarium (is it one building, or is it like sea world where its a park with several buildings in it where the exhibits actually are?)
