(Aquarium is a series of interconnected buildings)
Mac paused a moment, then replied, "I'm sorry Isamu, you are the only presence we currently have in Hawaii. Best I could do is local bureau assistance, or have a team on a plane within the hour. I know it is no point to ask you to wait for help, so be careful. I will notify the locals and have them set up a perimeter for you, and have paramedics on standby. Anything else you require?"

"I will do all I can to not bring reproach on our organization however I am going to look for her. You should know, I am working on only circumstantial evidence and I may be jumping to a premature conclusion, however it is all I have and I will not abandon her. I will search the entire island if I must. December would probably disapprove of the actions I am about to take. I understand if whatever happens from this point forward you must distance yourself from me," Isamu says into the phone.
He then waits for a response.

"Isamu, I trust your instincts or I would not approve of your leadership." Was all Mac replied before a pause. " I'll alert the local Homeland Security to have them assist in any way you require. I'll have the head of the team contact you shortly for instructions, he will defer command to you, but I suggest you leave out your relationship with him and treat Ashley as a teammate, not your lov interest, strictly for professional appearances."
As he talked on the phone, Isamu caught a familiar scent on the wind, faint but definitely the same.

Isamu says, "understood. I will speak to you when I find her," his voice confident.
Isamu then sniffs the air, "I must go, I think I have something. Have your contact use this number," he says turning off the phone.
Walking up to the fence he waves his arm at the ground underneath him causing a tower to rise up under him. Once he reaches the same height as the fence, he reaches his hand out in front of him and makes another tower rise up on the other side of the fence. He steps over from his current tower to the other, then waves both arms so the towers can both recede into the ground. Now on the other side of the fence he pauses and sniffs the air trying to determine which direction the smell is coming from.

Isamu easily got inside the aquarium grounds. The breeze was blowing straight down the main path through the grounds, with a sign pointing out it was towards the aquatic mammals area.

Smelling the air, Isamu starts walking down the path. He was hoping this smell would lead him to Ashley. He wasn't sure, he just had hope. He mumbles, "I am coming Ashley," as he walks down the path.

Isamu follows the trail, until he comes to a closed off domelike area. The sign clearly stated the polar exhibit was closed for renovations, but in the quiet of the evening, Isamu could hear something vile. It sounded like something inhuman, but not unlike someone getting violently sick. At the same time, he could still smell the odour.

Isamu heard the sound, and his resolve only strengthened. He reached out and tried the door of the exhibit. If it doesn't open, he will transform to his stone form and force the door with his increased strength. (PS = 34 super human). Once open he will revert to human again before proceeding.

The lock easily gave way to Isamu's strength, but as it swung open the hinges creaked loudly. The noises he had heard abruptly stopped, but the strange odour seemed to be much stronger. A growled voice greeted his arrival, " Go home, she is where she belongs. With her own kind." The speaker was no where to be seen

Being human again Isamu begins to walk into the building. He thought about trying stealth, but that hadn't been his process this far. It wasn't about to be now. He walks into the building, pausing just inside the doorway to look around. He doesn't answer the voice. He wasn't sure what it was talking about.
He wasn't afraid of facing the source of the voice, or the noises he heard earlier. He would die before he abandoned Ashley. The only idea that actually frightened him was the possibility that something happened to Ashley. There was also another thought that gave him a chill. After she met with her old friend in the hotel she had behaved differently, and then there was that smell. And here was that smell again, what if it was affecting Ashley and she was under its influence. Isamu may have to fight Ashley and defeat her in order to save her. He did not like the idea of having to do that.
Isamu continues to slowly make his way into the building.

As Isamu entered, the odour was far stronger, and at the same time, the speaker in the shadows spoke again, "You do not understand, little man. Go back to the mainland and forget about Ashley. She will be much happier with her own kind." It was punctuated with a low growl. His sharp eye let Is spot something moving in the foilage ahead."

"You hide in the shadows like a coward, and you tell me to leave and abandon the woman that I love. That will never happen. I do not know who you are or why you are doing this, however you cannot just take what you want. You must earn it and you have not. Ashley has a right to choose her own path without any coercion or outside influence. That has not happened. I will find Ashley and I will bring her home. You cannot win. You will not," Isamu stops moving when he sees the movement. He tenses his body and prepares to face whatever may come out.
He knows his words may goad whatever it was into action. And if it charged he would try to dodge it before trying to figure what it was and how best to fight it. He had no weapons... except for himself. He glances around the area to determine if there was any dirt or earth to draw on should he need it. After all plants = dirt.

Directly in front of Isamu, only thirty feet away, a figure stepped from the shadows. It was not Ashley as he had feared, nor did it appear to be her classmate from the plane. He was about Isamu's height, but built like a power lifter. He also appeared. to be a lycanthrope like Ashley, except he was a tiger instead of a bear. When the man-beast spoke however, Isamu recognized the voice," She came to me willingly, because she wanted to be with her own kind. As you say, she chose her own path, and you are no longer on it." Isamu could smell the pungent odour much stronger now. From the shadows came another figure, Ashley was fully transformed into her werebear form as she stopped by the tigerman, towering over him.

Isamu saw Ashley for a moment his insides churned. He knew how Ashley felt for him. Kodiak could be led astray, of course with mind control anyone could. He thinks, 'I wish I had time to analyze the source of that odor. If it is him, stopping him, may end it, causing Ashley to return to me. If it is synthetic I must find the source. Even stopping its production, it my take some time for the effects to dissipate and until then I will have to face Kodiak and this tiger. I can only hope my words can reach Ashley.
Isamu shakes his head. "I do not believe she came to you of her own free will," he says. He sniffs the air. "I think what I keep smelling has something to do with what is happening to her, and you may have swain her for now, however deep down, Ashley loves me. She knows I love her. She knows I would never abandon her. I have come for her before and brought her back home, and until I die I will always do the same. Kodiak knows that too. I have fought along side her, I have fought for her, I have saved her life and she has saved mine. You may be affecting her somehow, though it will not last. I love Ashley as she is, with me she is free to be who ever and live how ever she wishes. You want me to leave, you will have to force me, however I must warn you I do not want to hurt you so you should end this before it is too late."
Isamu waits for the man or Kodiak to move, Kodiak knows what he can do, the man may not.

"I do not care what you think." The tigerman replied, bearing his fangs. "She will not be going back to the mainland with you. So you may either leave now under your own power, we shall have to destroy you."
Kodiak hesitated, with a bit of a confused look on her face as though she still recognized Isamu despite not acting like herself. Then she suddenly stepped off to the side and began to get violently ill again, leaving the two men to face one another.
