"I know its difficult on her. I wish there was something I could do to help her. It seems her transformation hits her pretty hard. We all have our issues with our abilities and what they do to us and others, she feels her abilities are a curse. Nothing any of us can say will help her."

*Sierra pauses about 5 feet away from Ashley and waits for the reaction to her words. she watches her feet, which are crossed just now and then looks at Ashley.
'it was William's idea of course. seems i shocked the others when i opened my mouth when i said i understood how you felt. Dimitri had a cow about it in fact. kinda sad though. gotta have someone you trust to watch your back.
*she pauses and looks at the picture on the opposite wall and then continues* 'i still can't believe i was so stupid for so long. you wanna know what the saddest part is? .. i honestly thought the world was like Mayberry. now? .. i feel like hot water has been thrown in my face.
'kinda like calling for help to stop a purse snatcher and people just move out of the way or hide. i just have to accept i'm stupid and dense about people and things. i have to forget how i used to live, cause it wont help here. none of us gives a frosted cookie about the next person. you, at least, are honest. you can admit your emotions and not hide them.
*Sierra pushes away from the wall and heads to the kitchen. she starts prepping the cookie sheets and other pans. a sign she's unhappy or getting rid of excess tensions. she starts a pot of chili from scratch and makes a variety of muffins to freeze for later. she's making lemon cakes for freezing when the next person walks into the kitchen
