Three months had passed since the rescue of Felicia and baby Maria. True to his word, Tyler had taken his family and left the others, opting to move into the fire station where he turned the downstairs into his own business, Outlaw Original Customs, a custom car shop. shortly thereafter, Trevor moved there as well to get away from the disapproval of his relationship with Torment, turning the third floor storage into a bachelor pad and he started working with Tyler. Since the building was technically Trevor's Ty had no problems with this, even keeping his tongue when torment moved in with him a month later.
MacColter had come and retrieved Klaxon, sending him on a nice vacation on Gramercy Island, but when he did, he recalled Kerry to his original team. Avi was supposed to leave as well, but after a heated discussion behind closed doors, Dylin decided that it might be better for Claymore to stay put.
Ashley made it through the moon's fazes better than she ever had thanks to Torment's intervention. Somehow she was able to reach Ashley beneath the rage the symbiotes induced during the full moon and was able to help her cope enough to be let out of the cell. To show her appreciation, she became even more attached to Isamu.
Other than the occasional isolated outbreak, the city was quiet for the summer. There was no retaliation from Don Nilo. The Doctor had gone underground and Cure was yet to hit the streets like expected. Wraith had succumb to his injuries, and no one had heard from Will since.
Jason's surgery had been a sucess, and thanks to rehab and regular visits from Ty and Avi, he was making a faster than predicted recovery.

" Now look, I spent all summer trying to get you into this, you're going in the water." Kristian laughed as he tried to drag Sierra acrossed the sand towards the light surf. it was a beautiful late summer day and they had the private beach to themselves.
Ashley chuckled at the pair of them as she looked past Dmitri and Janie far too close together and rested her head on Isamu's shoulder. Her eyes rolled up to meet his," Penny for your thoughts?"
A little away from the others, Alice heard the ring of a text message on her cell phone. [shadow=red,left,300]Turn around[/shadow] showed on the display, and when she did, Jason stood there with a walker on the edge of the deck with a big grin on his face, Avi who had strangely offered to keep watch on the War Room so the others could relax for a bit right beside him with a look that gave away this was planned. " I told you I couldn't wait to see that bathing suit." Jason said brazenly.

*Sierra's giggles give away her attitude of non-compliance to that of someone thats a little afraid. 'you're sure its not going to burn? .. i .. ack .. ' *allows herself to be pulled along closer to what seems to have her a little nervous. the fact that she's in her wetsuit doesn't seem to bother her, but it could cause wonderment to others that didn't know her.
' .. but ... but ... what if it burns? .. or worse .. melts me? ... ' *then gives way to laughter as she's pulled once again and this time squeals with giggles as the water rushes over her toes 'oh .. cold cold cold wet cold .. ' *and seems to stop the fighting as she pauses to understand the feelings her feet are giving her.
'okay .. that feels so weird .. eww .. ' high steps away from some seaweed that touched her foot then looks about with reddening cheeks 'it just felt .. kinda .. slimey'

Over the three months, Alice tries to keep busy to try to keep from worrying too much about Will. She wondered where he had gone, and hoped that he was doing all right. She felt a little sad at losing the chance to get to know him not long after she'd discovered that he was her grandfather, and hoped that she would get the chance again in the future. Whenever she gets the chance, she visits Felicia and baby Maria and help out whenever she could. She feels a little awkward around Torment, and tries to help with calming Ashley down, but mostly feels like a 5th wheel and wonders if she had a lot to offer now that she was around, but tries to hide the insecurities.
Looking down at her phone, Alice frowns in confusion and turns around. Seeing Jason, Alice looks surprised and a huge smile appears on her face as she walks over to him and gives him a warm hug. Chuckling, she replies, "So you did." Standing back, she asks with a coy smile "So, does it look as good as you remember?"

Jason nodded enthusiastically. " Better. Gave me something to look forward to." He pouted playfully as she stepped back. " All I get is a little hug for my homecoming?"
Avi rolled his eyes and walked back to the house," You're pathetic, Dexter."
" Relax, there's nothing in here that could hurt you." Kristian laughed as he stepped closer to Sierra. " and it's not that cold, you just have to get used to it." he moved in close as if he was going to kiss her and then scooped her up in his arms to walk out into the surf. He walked until the water was up to his waist before stopping laughing long enough to speak," Okay, on the count of three. One," he let go early, falling backwards himself to get beyond arms reach.
Ashley dragged her fingers down along the side of Isamu's chest, her light touch tickling. " Do I need to draw my claws to get your attention?" she threatened with a mischevious smirk.

Alice laughs and moves closer to Jason and kisses him deeply. After, she looks up at him with a smile and asks as she hugs him close, "Is that better?"

*she has only time to give a surprised squawk of mock fright before her head vanishes under the water. then as she inhales and starts coughing and sputering, she regains her feet and looks about.
*the stunned look that has some horror in it seems to fade as her eyes seek out and then fasten on Kristien 'that was ... ... ' *unable to get the words out she slaps at the water instead and sends a small wavelet at him instead. her frustration and anger evident. the longer she stands there in thewater, the less it remains 'not at all like a shower .. its ..' *a puzzled look crosses her face as she looks down at the water, or rather at something in the water and her face reflects wonderment for some reason

Isamu finally looks down at Ashley. "I am sorry Ashley, it just struck me that three months have passed since William has disappeared, and while it has been a long time, it feels like it passed in a very quick flash."
He pauses a moment as he looks at the others playing around and having fun. "Even with William's disappearance it has been a good three months. It is nice to be around friends. Until I met you, I had none here in America. Now I have good friends, and I have you. I don't think I could be happier."

' .. there's spiders in the water ... ' *she watches the little crabs move to a secure spot under a nearby rock before looking up 'how do they survive under the water? and how come they're ... oh god i'm so dense. those are crabs, right? '
*she slaps the water again as she takes her blunder in stride and then starts to move through the water toward Kristien. 'get back here .. don't laugh at me .. it's not that funny' *not catching up fast enough, she just shoves water at him with her hands again. somehow in the back of her mind, she knows that fun times are just that, for fun. she gives up trying to chase him down with the simple 'okay .. its not going to get me, or hurt me .. and the crabs are cute .. but gah, *makes a face* .. boy does it taste horrible .. '

Kristian couldn't stop laughing as he stood up, pulling his dreadlocks back in ponytail to wring out some of the water. " You're not supposed to drink salt water, Sierra. Too much will make you sick." He waited until she was close before squatting down so only his head was sticking out of the water, " It's not as warm here as home, but this is still nice. " He cupped his hands together and splashed her, laughing again as he did. " and to think I thought you were afraid of the water."
" Much better." Jason replied with a broad grin. " Doctor says I'm better off at home now, but nothing to strenuous for a couple more weeks. So you'll have to take it easy on me for now." His smile faded. " Any word from the old guy?"
" You're sweet in that naive 'straight out of the temple' way." Ashley giggled, sitting up. One of her symbiotes crawled acrossed her shoulder, but she made no attempt to hide it. " I'm glad I met you too. Not many guys could put up with a caged monster like me." Out in the water, Isamu caught a glimpse of something past Sierra and Kristian playing, but neither of them seemed to notice. Was that a fin?

*Sierra twitches and turns the head and then looks back 'not fair .. but yeah .. i got reason to be afraid, sorta. last time i went into water other than from a tap .. i sorta got changed. but since its not burning and just feels weird and .. ack .. ' *she flinches and flops backwards as she reacts in a strange manner.
*as her face comes up once more she regains fer feet and looks at him ' ... sorry. i think it ran over my foot .. ' *she points at another crab, this one a little bigger than the others as it moves for new cover* 'besides, this water is so big and seems .. kinda alive .. strange, someone new, but not new came into range' *having not been near Jason for a while, she's forgotten what his signature feels like*

Alice grins and winks at Jason as she replies "I suppose I'll take it easy on for the next little while" Giving him another hug, her smile fades as she shakes her head. "No, I haven't heard from him at all since the day I took you to the hospital. I hope he's ok." she adds in a quiet voice.

" He had his reasons to go, and he must have felt we were okay on our own." Jason replied. His attitude seemed to lighten, " So have you seen my niece yet? She must be growing fast." It was obvious he had changed the subject on purpose.
Kristian moved close enough to embrace Sierra. " I've seen what you can do, I don't think there's anything here on the beach to worry you." He looked past her to the shore. " Looks like Jason got out of the hospital early. Maybe Alice will lighten up a little now." As he said it, he fell back in the water to float on his back, splashing Sierra again as he did.

Isamu looks back out towards Sierra and Kristian again, "Ashley,"he says pointing past Sierra, "I think I saw something out past Sierra. I do not know much about the ocean, but could it have been a shark?"

*Sierra lunges and dunks Kristien with a light shove. knowing her strength could cause problems has given her reason to not touch much, but that last slpash did it and she just wants to dunk him once. 'gotcha ... '
'stop splashing, jeez. its .. got this really funky feel to it thats all. maybe its the bits that make it feel, well taste salty? or the gritty sand .. but i'm sure its fine' *she offers him a hand up, as she watches him be at ease in the water* 'maybe next time i'll try it with a t-shirt and shorts .. or not .. oh look .. look .. ' *she points to the little bullheads moving about in the water 'little fish .. they look awesome .. ' *distracted once more from watching him, she leaves herself wide open for a retaliation ambush.
'but you're right .. *she makes a futile effort to try and catch on of the little fish* .. she needs to be less Aunty and more sister like .. ohh .. i missed it. boy are they fast'

Letting Jason change the subject, Alice smiles weakly and nods. "Yeah, she is. She's really cute. I've been visiting Felicia and Ty whenever I can over the last few months to help out whenever I am able to." Looking up, she adds "We should try to get over there sometimes soon so that you can meet her."
