[Everyone]
After the gruelling entrance and your tests, you are given a little reprieve to recover your energies and get changed into you student outfits. To change you are shown to a what can only be described as a locker room for individuals. Completely private. After such every single one of you are led to a room that is empty save for some seats and such. You all arrive approximately at the same time. (Within moments and order does not really matter save for last is D'fel Shimra)
D'fel being last one to arrive and guided by his "Father" and one of the instructors you have seen and even had heard announce their name. The man after guiding D'fel in deems to speak. "Good day all of you and welcome to the school. You are all gathered here because...well, look to your left. Look to your right. These will be your brothers and sisters for at least your first year." He pauses before continuing.
"You may not be in classes together,. you may not eve be the same race. But you will all respect one another and honour each other as if you were family. BECAUSE YOU ARE!" With that he spins around and walks out without even waiting for any to ask any questions.
You are now left to mingle for next little bit meeting each other as needed.
Note - your bags are nowhere to be seen and the uniform was given to you on your exit of your tests.

Once shown to a changing room. Falbera changes to her school uniform, disappointed to see that there was no hood to go with her uniform. She ran her hand over her body knowing that if it wasn't for her face she would be an attractive dwarf, but thanks to her face, she was considered one ugly dwarf, and if her face was the only thing they saw, an ugly male dwarf.
Instead of wearing the cape as a cape, she instead uses it as a hood. She thinks, 'I don't know if this will get me in trouble, but it will be better than making the others losing their appetite by having to see my face.'
She dons the hood over the rest of her uniform and is sure to pull it down to cover her face.
She then follows whoever leads her to the dining hall. She takes a seat and remains silent as the instructors address them. She does look from right to left as instructed but keeps her hood drawn down. She takes a moment to try and appraise each one of her classmates outward appearance same as they will judge hers. She smugly thinks, 'I bet I can beat them all in armed or unarmed combat,' forgetting the insecurity that she normally feels when she considers her looks.
Its that thought that she is better than them all, while at the same time ashamed of her appearance that keep her from making any first attempts to talk with the others. She reasons to herself, 'they wont like me anyway once they realize how much better I am than them, and once they see my face. Its only fair the god's made me so ugly, since they gave me so much skill and ability it almost makes things even between me and these others.'

D'fel was very uncomfortable. The uniform he was given was not meant for someone of his stature and was large and baggy, and not designed for a species with spines or a tail such as him. And then there was the assembly of students present. He knew none of them and had already noticed at least one or two had given him a look he could only assume questioned D'fel's origins. He wanted to leave, but Father wished him to be here, so he was.
He considered sitting, but decided against it as he listened to Father's words, even cringing as the man raised his voice at the end before storming out. Father had never yelled at him, and D'fel was unaccustomed to it so it caught him off guard. As the instructors left, he suddenly felt nervous, and backed away from the other students to withdraw towards the corner. He would not be rude if approached, but anxiety from being around so many strangers made him very uncomfortable, and he wanted the security of his quiet and somewhat private space behind the stables where he practiced and studied, interrupted only by the occasional instructor or stablehand who knew he was there. He did however study the students as his large squared jaw jutted while his eyes studied the crowd.

Tathiyanna couldn't help but giggle as she looked over the uniform, blushing a little at the shortness of the skirt, particularly given her height. Still, the slender elf put it on, leaving her old clothing behind. Not used to heeled boots like this it took her a bit of pacing around the change room to become fully comfortable, but once she was the elf made her way to the meeting hall.
Once there, the young paladin-in-training did her best to quash a bit of shyness, offering friendly smiles to each of her class-mates.. or family, as the Instructor indicated. After exchanging greetings with several others, Tathiyanna makes her way over to the hooded dwarf, a little puzzled.
"Excuse me... isn't that supposed to be a cape?" she asks, a little uncertainly; not wanting to offend Falbera (whom of course she does not know) but certainly curious. While waiting for a reply, Tath takes another peek around the room, spotting the figure in the corner; seeing him alone, she raises her hand to offer a polite greeting!

Thay put on the uniform that was provided, and smiled as he checked himself in the nearby mirror. It felt good to him, to be in new clothes that were not made of some cheap material or worse, a simple sack with holes cut in them. The boots he was provided were a little tight, but he preferred them that way, easier to sneak when you weren't having to clunk around in large over sized pieces of leather.
Making his way to the dinner, Thay realized just how hungry he was. It had been well over a day since he had eaten, and what he did eat was little to nothing. When he stepped in, he smiled at everyone and stood tall and proud, happy to not be in rags anymore but still wishing he had his bow.

[Everyone]
You are all in the room still sitting and pretty much not talking at all to one another save for the one question posed from one student to another and in the name of fashion.
Thay at one point tries to get up and make his way to the dinner but finds his way is still barred by what is discovered to be a locked door. This is when the one elf in the group that seems to be blind speaks. "Well it is obvious they locked us here so we could learn about one another, perhaps it is what they are waiting on us to do. I mean I have met one or two of you but that is about it."
"So seeing no one else seems interested in doing so, I will start. My name is Cecile Songweaver, but you can call me Cee-Cee. My occupation is one of Bard and songmage and yes if you want to know I am blind."

As he looked around the room, D'fel caught the wave from one of the elves across the room. He returned a polite but expressionless nod. He made no effort to move as he folded his hands in front of him while curling his tail so it wrapped around to his side.
His attention shifted as the elf he had helped outside the school spoke up.The fact that she had passed the admission tests without sight impressed him. Not enough for him to approach her, but he would say so if an opportunity arose later. As his stomach grumbled slightly, D'fel sighed, trying to think how hungry he would have to be to be as outgoing as this Cecile person.

Thay spoke up after Cee-Cee, clearing his throat first. "My name is That, i am a scout and sniper from the Eastern Territories. I am pleased to meet you all and look forward to working with you as a unit."
Thay bows a little, to show respect to his students and stands back again.

Falbera turns to Tathiyanna and appraises the elf for a moment before answering, "was it meant to be a cape? I much prefer it this way," she says as politely as possible.
When the students begin to introduce themselves, Falbera cringes slightly as she knows she will be expected to do the same. She is impressed the blind one passed the tests and wondered if they were the same as what they put her through.
Deciding that if she speaks up before the others, they will have to go on and not linger on her as they may if she went last, she stands (which for her dwarfly height of 3'7" wasn't very tall) reaches to make sure the makeshift hood stays in place and says, "I am Falbera Dedukr of the family Dedukr. I am a warrior and I have the privilege of wielding the axe of my family."
She then sits back down.

Tath tilts her head a bit at Falbera's reply, then shrugs and nods before looking to the rest of the group, appraising each student quietly.
Blind? Impressive... I can't imagine being deprived of my sight for even a short time... I'd probably end being a mewling babe on the floor.. Tath thinks to herself. When the male elf introduces himself, rather formaly in Taths mind, the young paladin-to-be stifles a soft giggle but offers him a polite nod. Unit? Arn't we supposed to be a class? And.. what did the Master say? A family?
After Falbera introduces herself, Tath looks to the others and offers her most sincerely winning smile. "Tathiyanna of the Strongblade family... though I really don't mind being called Tath, or Anna." she introduces, then gives a short bow. "I am to follow in the steps of my mother, Lauranthia Strongblade, as a knight and paladin." the elf continues, pride in her tone.
Tathiyanna is quite tall at five-foot-and-ten, a wiry build that hints at strength, even in her youth. Thick, wavy pale blonde hair tumbles down to about mid-back, currently held in place as a pony-tail with a silver clasp. Dark sapphire eyes peer out at the rest of the group, a friendly sort of mischevious glint dancing within, matching the sly, cocky little smile her lips form.

Cee-Cee then speaks again, "Well that is almost everyone in the room save for the real silent one who," She sniffs the air, "If I am not mistaken would be the nice person that guided me into the school."
With that she stands grabbing her walking staff and walks over to where D'fel is. "You have been awfully silent. I am not even sure you are a student or," With that she trips right in front of him.

Reacting without thinking, D'fel's tail shot around him to break CeeCee's fall faster than his hands could. His voice was low as he spoke," You must be careful where you step." Once he he had helped her up, he looked at the others, " I am sorry. Father decided I should go with this year's class. My name is D'fel and this school is my home. I am not used to being around others because most think I am a monster of some sort, so this is all very new to me."

Falbera was impressed with the speed at which D'fel moved. She of course wouldn't voice that. She thinks, 'he moved fast, I would have caught her as well.'
She does decide to respond to his other comments, "people usually judge based on outward appearances. It can cause them to under-estimate others."

Tath looks to Cee-cee and D'fel, thne startles a bit when Cee-cee trips; before she has a chance to react and help, however, the quiet-one had caught her. Relaxing a little, Tath offers them a brief smile, then nods to Falbera as well.
"I learned at an early age to look past the surface to what lay below." the elf agrees, quietly. "Please do not think that I have many of the same prejudices as the rest of my people..."

D'fel looked to the pair that had spoke, slightly suprised at their kind words. " It is not underestimating me by my appearance that has worried me. It is those that fear my appearance and would attack out of ignorance. I think Father placed me in this class to teach me that not all being would do so."
