Rex makes a note to look up that actor sometime later, since he seemed to be rather talented and no doubt could put on a good show.[rand=5063552361503849662144569259488239390182220817439091450236806662]

Natalia folds her arms. "Very well. Go on and get this place cleaned up for tomorrow. Hopefully we will get new customers."
Lester mostly babbles about the airfield as you drive him home. He's somewhat delusional about what he expects to happen - he's got ambition to make the city a manufacturing hub, but it would take a lot of money and time. Of course, Caleb realizes, such new developments tend to be magnets for the criminal element.
Rex takes note of the actor as he retires back to his place for the evening, the note still firmly in his pocket.
Vivian, the letter is clearly typed on a hardy paper stock, scented with a jasmine perfume,
"Miss Masters,
It would do me the honor of your attendance at a meeting most exclusive upon the stroke of midnight at the Old Courthouse. You and your associate, Mr. Gunnar, should dress as per the requirements of your extra-cirricular activities, as it would prove most conducive to the meeting.
Sincerely,
Arnold Powell"

"At least he wasn't after my watch," he mutters, making sure there are no onlookers, takes out the note and examines it before opening and reading it.

Lex nodded with a smile, " Sure. No problem Nat. Your sticky bread was a big hit and I made sure people knew you were the caterer. Go on up and get some sleep, sis, I'll clean up and get tomorrow morning's prep work done."
He went to begin checking the bins to see what needed to be topped up from the supplies in the cellar. As soon as he found something he needed to go get, he checked the doors were locked before he headed downstairs to get it, collecting an unmarked jar of Canadian whiskey he kept hidden behind the molasses barrels . " One won't hurt" he said as he headed back up to the kitchen

"Mister Cranston,
It would do me the honor of your attendance at a meeting most exclusive upon the stroke of midnight at the Old Courthouse. You should dress as per the requirements of your extra-cirricular activities, as it would prove most conducive to the meeting.
Sincerely,
Arnold Powell"
Frowns at what's read, more the topic and the realization than anger or disappointment, tips the valet for his car and heads back to the penthouse to freshen up, catch some rest, then dress and head to the meeting.

Vivian hides her surprise at the note and smiles politely at her mother. "Thank you for giving me the note." Vivian thinks to herself 'I need to talk to lex. Someone knows what we're doing. Who is this Powell person?'

Rex manages to get quite a bit of rest before preparing for his trip.
At the first opportunity, Vivian manages to get away from her mother and rushes to the bakery, as Lex comes upstairs with the bottle.

Lumbering up the stairs, Lex set the bag of sugar he'd gone after on the counter and then smiled to himself as he began to open the jar of whiskey. Taking a sniff that beckoned him to take a drink, something moving outside the door caught his attention. He looked up to see Vivian standing there. He sighed and went to the door, unlocking and opening it. He still had the jar in his hand as he asked, " What's wrong?" he sighed. He expected a blasting over the whiskey. " I'm entitled to a little sip. someone could have figured out who I was pretty quick, or the cops could have caught me if I hadn't been lucky."

Vivian frowns when she sees that Lex is about to start drinking. It's clear she disapproves of this, but all she says is "You weren't lucky." Handing Lex the letter, she says, "Someone seems to know who we are. Who is Arnold Powell?"

Lex set the jar down and looked at Vivian in disbeleif. "How could anyone know? No, I don't... the name rings a bell." He read the letter, then glanced at the clock. "We don't have alot of time. Go downstairs and get ready, I have to finish preppiing things for morning. " He growled slightly as he handed the letter back and then screwed the cap on his whiskey tightly. "Make sure you're ready for a war kiddo, in cased this is some sort of set up and we have to fight our way out."
Once the bakery was prepped, he headed downstairs as well to suit up again.

(( OOC-> Sorry about delays, I've been very busy. ))
Caleb will politely listen to Lester, and calmly and politely say "It sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if an airfield will lead to everything you think it will. I'm also not a big fan of heavy industry, my hands largely being into agriculture, I think we have a nice balance and I'm not sure if I'd want to see that kind of a shift right here in my back yard".
He will drop Lester off, and then head back to his place to meditate (regain used PPE), take care of any business he has, and then do his usual astral surveillance of the area, looking for trouble that might require his intervention.

Caleb, after your meditation, you remember to check the card in your pocket, and it's letter just as the others have gotten.
Rex, fully suited up, heads out. He's the first to arrive at the old Courthouse. The construction predates the Civil War, giving it a classical look with it's marble pillars and clean brick layouts. However, they are almost finished laying the foundations for the new one in the center district, making this place redundant. You are looking for routes in in the dark.
Lex and Vivian suit up as best they can and head out into the night. Given the bakery is in an old part of the town, they get their very soon.
(Rex, Lex, and Viv can roll perception - any roll higher than a 15 and you'll spot the other party).

"Keep your eyes open, kiddo." Lex whispered cautiously as they neared the meeting place. He was nervous himself though he tried to keep it hidden. Spotting someone else approaching, he whispered again, "We've got company." With the Tommy Trencher at the ready, he started looking for ambush hiding places [dice=100](fail)[rand=97973694450131153561969917353266546274491237367819651416856512052]
