Because he was worked up, DD couldn't tell if Tabitha was alive or not as he stepped back by Cap.
Wolvie tried, but with adrenaline still flowing his training just wouldn't come back to him. Aura on the other hand, found a faint heartbeat, but when she had pressed on Tab's stomach in the process, water gushed from her nose and mouth.

"We need to get her breathing fast. Wanda, a little bit of a luck hex wouldn't hurt here." Cap begins Artificial respiration alongside Tally. "Don't stop until she gets up or we drop, understood?"

Icyness clenched at Kittys insides as she took in what was going on; moving over quickly, she kneels down as close as she can without interfering with the first-aid, a beyond worried look on her face. Gently she grasps one of Ghostsabres hands, squeezing it encouragingly. "C'mon Ghostsabre, you can pull through this!" she whispers in a low tone, fearfully.

One of Scarlet Witch's hex bolts sizzled passed Kitty to strike Tabitha in the chest between Aura and Captain America's efforts. Ghostsabre's back suddenly arched light she was zapped by electricity. Tally's hands suddenly felt the steady rhythm of a heartbeat. Cap had just enough time to move as Tabitha started coughing violently, splattering the First Avenger with water. Kitty felt Tabitha's grip suddenly tighten around her hand, strength returning.

Aura seeing her services are no longer needed stands up and lets everyone else deal with the downed Tabitha. Stepping back a bit she turns to see what else is of interest here now that all is calmed down.

With Tally stepping back and Tabby doing ok, he says "thank you Aura." He then kneels in her place and says, "Tabitha are you ok? I'm sorry I let this happen right in front of me and couldn't stop it."

Spider-Man stayed back, leaning against a wall, to not crowd everyone trying to save Tabitha's life. But his mouth didn't stop running in the process. "So... anyone watching the game tonight? Or America's Next Top Model? MJ's gonna make me watch that cause you know, she's just crazy about it. But I gotta say, being a New Yorker, I really like baseball. Probably the part where I can catch them like they were nothing. The whole Spider-Man thing's pretty nice sometimes... Is she gonna live? But really, I'm good at baseball. You should have me on your team sometime."

Demolition Man walked over and leaned against the wall next to SpiderMan. " You like sports, you should have come with use, Arcade's games played foosball and whack a mole with us. That crazy...," he paused," did you just see the lights flicker?"
Scarlet Witch patted Aura on the shoulder," Well done Aura. If it was not for your efforts, my hex magic would not have been much help."
At the same time, something caught Deci's attention but she missed whatever it was.
Tabitha coughed hard before sitting up. Her eyes were red rimmed from coughing, but she had enough energy embrace Kitty on one side and Daredevil on the other as she said," It's not your fault Daredevil. You had no idea this could happen. Just..., thanks, all of you. I couldn't have held on any longer.."
Behind the toucing scene, something distracted Cap for just a second.

The hex-bolt from Scarlet Witch startled Kitty a little and she starts to draw back, particularly when she observes what it does to Tabitha; however, the sudden grip on her hand prevents her from doing so, wincing a little at the strength of it.
Leaning forward a little she prepares to help Tabitha if she needs it, then lets out a startled little squeak at the sudden multi-embrace, blushing just a little. A soft cough, then a smile. "You held on long enough, thats what matters..." Kitty murmurs to her, hugging her back gently then straightening up. "No way we were going to let either of you become victims of Arcade's madness."

DD dropping the tenor he puts in his voice when DD, says in a low voice, "I'm just glad your OK Tabby. I'm sorry it took me so long to get here."
He tilts his head when Cap speaks and says eyes open, a smile almost creasing his face at the ironic statement. Instead he uses his sentences.

(sorry folks if I seem like I'm rushing this, but trying to wrap chapter so doc can take over next week)
Something had grabbed both Captain America and Shadowcat's attention, but both thought they missed it with a blink. Aura however knew that the supposed blink had actually been a flicker in the energy field holding back the water, and Daredevil could 'see' changes in the field's wavelengths, and that it was becoming weaker.
Spitfire's voice came over everyone's communicards, " We've sprung a leak! This end of the complex is starting to fill up with water. Don't know how to drive this thing, but were on our way!"
"At least Jacqueline is ok." Scarlet Witch said. "Time to head for high ground? " She pointed to a trickle of water running between her feet.
"Thanks...," Tabitha said as she released Kitty and Daredevil, " mom." She looked at Daredevil as if trying to piece things together as he spoke softly. She wobbly got to her feet and then looked at him while he was speaking softly as she put things together and said, Mmm....? I won't say it. I was in your office just before this happened, wasn't I?"
