Alice tells Tyler "Jason came out of surgery fine. The doctors say he's going to be all right. They're keeping him here overnight for observation." Seeing Tyler grab his shoes, she grabs it from him and takes the other one. She says quietly "I know you're scared and worried about Felicia, but you can't just run off all panicked. Will is going to be here in a minute and we will figure out a way to get her back safe and sound. First we'll need to know what happened and then we can put a plan together. So, what happened?" Alice asks quietly.

Tyler walked over to stand over Alice. " Don't do this. I have a plan, and I'm going to following through and find my fiance. now either you can give me my shoes, or I'm going to walk out of here bare foot. Either way, I'm not the one who needs to be scared. Whoever has her is. Now," He grinned, " shoes. Please?"

William shakes Mac's hand, as the formality goes. "Right, no apocalypse this time." He says. "Now, if you'll excuse me."
With a military nod, William turns and makes his way to Tyler's room, stopping to watch through the window on the door as Alice takes the shoes from Tyler. And he stays patiently watching to see how it unfolds.

Alice looks up at Tyler with a stubborn look and she puts her hands behind her back. "You don't scare me, Tyler. Running out not letting anyone know where you're going is foolish and it's only going to get you killed and it won't help Felicia or the baby one little bit." Alice takes a step back. "So, no, I'm not letting you do this." Alice gets ready in case it looks like Tyler will forcibly try to make her move.

"You're not the one I plan on scaring Alice." Tyler's smile grew. " I told William before that I wanted out, and he convinced me to hang around. Look how that turned out. Besides, you know, you can tell everyone. this is the last time I'm gonna ask Alice. Let me go." He bent down to look her in the face. He ignores whoever entered behind her.

Alice looks Tyler in the eyes with a calm expression on her face. "No." she replies softly, "William is here now and we can think of a plan to rescue Felicia that includes everyone. Trevor was just telling me that the first thing you taught him was to go to family for help when there's trouble. So let us help you, Tyler."

William puts his hands on Alice's shoulders. "Give him is shoes, Alice." He says, in a soft, fatherly voice. "And Tyler, I'm disappointed... you actually needed to ask her?" He says with a smirk. "Let's take a walk. Alice, make sure everyone's ready to go in about half an hour, the devil's dealed us into a new place that's hopefully more secure."
Stepping back from her, William waves Tyler to the door. "This way, young man." He says, still paternally.

He snatched his shoes out of her hands and went with Will. " Not hard to tell where her stubborness com,es from..." He muttered.

William froze and looked at Alice, wondering if that was true... Ragnarok was one of the toughest mutants in the world... "Stared him down?" He mumbles to himself, a smirk forming. "I can only imagine his suprise." He says a little louder.
WIlliam walks Tyler over to Jason's ICU room. "You have a tough choice, Tyler: trust the doctors with your brother's life, or trust me and mine with your fiancés." He takes a deep breath. "I personally hate these kinds of choices, because no matter the one you make, it means taking power out of your hands." William looks at Tyler. "You stay here with your brother, you can heal the pain in your ass, and remain rational. You go out to find Felicia, you'll become increasingly irrational with every step."
William pauses for a minute. "Do you know what Mac wanted me to do with your brother? He wanted me to teach Jason how to act without thinking. You can imagine my response, and why that response means so much."

Alice freezes waiting for William to add his thoughts as to how foolish she was to have faced down Ragnarock, and is a little surprised when he says very little about it. She nods and after Tyler's snatched his shoes back, goes to find the others to let them know that they would be leaving for their new place within the next half hour.

Tyler looked in at Jason, carrying on with a couple of his friends from MacColters' people. " Mac wouldn't do that, he knows I'd kill him." He looked at Will with a sigh," Fine, I'll stay put until Jason gets released. But after that, if you haven't found her, I do it my way. And it's like the good old days, like before we worked together."

William looks at Tyler, with a very stern face. "Agreed. But, don't forget, when I met you, I explained how I only give one chance." And he turns and heads out to meet with the rest of the group.
At the nurse's station, William quietly explains that Jason's showing signs of SARS, and should be kept under observation, in addition to his current schedule.
