Alice frowns at William as Trevor leaves the room, presumably to find a housecoat. "Fine," she says "but I really don't think it's going to work." She studies Ashley for a minute and then closes her eyes and pictures it in her head. Alice is surprised when she feels her face change and when she looks into the window she can see her reflection, that and sees Ashley's face on her body. She reaches out, touching the window, and the reflection does the same. Alice says "Is this getting creepy to anyone but me?" Alice is happy to hear her own voice coming out of her mouth. Hugging herself, Alice waits until she gets the housecoat before going any further.

"I'm perfectly fine with it." William says smoothly, cutting Ashley off. "This is as natural a thing for you as walking or breathing, Alice. Focus on the voice now."

"Natural?" Alice scoffs in a disbelieving tone of voice. "Nothing about me is natural anymore. But fine, I'll try." She then focuses on Ashley's talking and says "This doesn't feel natural at all, you know. I feel like one giant freak." Alice is shocked to hear that her own british accent is disapearing and she is sounding more and more like Ashley as she talks. Finally she says, sounding exactly like Ashley (39% alter voice) "I don't like this anymore."

William sits up straight, and his easy tone washes away as he leans forward. Almost as if a great shadow had grown around him. "You are the best weapon we could ever hope to have, Alice. Anyone can blow things up, and throw things around. But only a select few have the ability to be someone else. You have that ability. And if you are to survive, you must learn use it. And not be ashamed of it, like these two." The force in his voice washes away as Trevor enters the room. William leans back. "Take a moment to change, and you can try the height. Ashley, you may want to go with her."

Alice falters at the force in William's voice. "It's just so.. I'm just... I'm just really scared." Alice confesses quietly, still not used to hearing someone else's voice coming out of her mouth.
Taking the housecoat from Trevor, Alice smiles weakly at him and says "Thank you." Noticing Trevor's eyes widen, she sighs to herself. "I guess everyone's going to react like that." she says to William. She thinks about Jason and how he probably won't want to kiss her again after he finds out just how big a freak she really is.
Turning to Ashley, she says "You probably should come with me, so people don't think you've suddenly shrunk 5 inches or so." Alice then heads towards the bathroom so she can get changed.

'tyler? .. we're being watched by *proceeds to describe the woman with the helmet* want me to follow? .. i'm fast and nimble ... ?' *is obviously spooked now, as the eyes give way to the shifty glances for the best escape route. the claws once again have been pulled back into the hands from the rush of fear*
*awaiting an answer mutters 'oh jeez, how did i miss that one spotting me? .. she spooks me'
[35/20 on contacts .. missed it .. dang it all, so no idea who it was or any reliable info on her]
*the urge to flee is now more and more apparent as the body tenses for instant flight and the eyes stare at Tyler with a look of sorrow 'i wanna bolt .. i really do .. sorry and forgive me?'

" Give it a rest Eric. You're cocky little kid attitude doesn't play well here." Jason replied. " So what really happened to your buddy, the hacker? You were a little too quick with your answer to Tyler."
" Too late now, Maria. She's long gone." Tyler replied, putting his stuff in the back of the truck. " But thats the kind of stuff we're gonna have to work on. Get in, we better move out before company shows up if she is working for Atlas. Odd she looks so much like you though, huh?"
Trevor and Ashley just kind of looked at each other as Alice put on her display, doing as asked. Ashley nodded. " Okay, I've got some clothes upstairs you can borrow. Do I really sound like that?" She grinned.

"Actually. Change into something else as well, Ashley." As Ashley leaves with Alice, William turns to Trevor. Still watching what Trevor seems to think. "How long have you had your powers?"

Alice nods quietly at Ashley's question. As they leave, Alice muses, still using Ashley's voice, "I wonder why does he want you to get changed too."
Reaching Ashley's room, Ashley hands Alice a a simple blue sundress, explaining it would probably be easier for her to change size in. Alice thanks Ashley and heads into the bathroom and gets changed. After she is done, she waits outside Ashley's room as Ashley gets changed.

Trevor looked at Will, upset with himself for letting the old man goad him into his display. " A three months after I came out of my coma when I got caught in the explosion. Thats how I got the scars. Must be why they wouldn't heal but fire doesn't bother me since. I tried to hide them and thought I could go back to my life. Instead I lost it. We were there to save people from a fire and I lost control and two of my friends got hurt bad. " The pain in his eyes overcame his hatred and he turned for the door. " I don't want to hurt anybody again."
" Got me." Ashley shrugged before Alice left for the bathroom. When she returned, the door was open a crack. Ashley was standing back to, changing into an oversized t-shirt. As she did, a pair of dark objects seemed to scurry acrossed her back beneath her skin. She turned, tucking the shirt into her shorts. " All set? Lets go see what he has in mind for us."

Alice's eyes open wide at the sight of the dark objects, but she doesn't say anything as Ashley comes out of her room. Alice nods and the two head back to the living room. Reaching the door, they see Trevor storming out of the living room and Alice has to move out of the way quickly to avoid getting run over by him. Entering the living room, Alice asks William "What do I have to do now?"

"Look as much like Ashley as you can besides the head. Including heigt, and skin tone." He says.
"And Trevor, people want to hurt you. I didn't find you in a dumpster because you got hugs and kisses." He turns away from Ashley and Alice as Alice transformicates herself. "And, if you accept your powers, and learn to control them more effectively, and more consciously, the fewer innocent people that will be hurt." As he finishes saying this, William shifts his gze to Ashley, to make sure she heard that as well.

"Well that was the last time I saw him. He left with Trevor and we took off with Al remember? I have no idea where he is. I just hope they haven't found him..." *cause when I do......* (Trust/Intimidate 35/60%) Eric has a look of sincerity upon his face. "oh, and about my attitude, its better than the "I'm so scared" attitude that most of these people have. I know I'm cocky, but do you think I care? Atleast you know exactly how I'm going to react in a situation. You know I'm not going to cower in a corner and not be of use to anyone. You know I will hold my own.... or atleast try to..." Jason can see that Eric is on the defensive about his attitude and if he prys its just going to escalate the situation. To Jason it looks as though Erics attitude is to hide his true fears.

Alice sighs and does her best to concentrate on little things, like Ashley's height and the length of her hair and skin tone (etc etc). She closes her eyes, and tries to picture it in her head and after a minute or so, Alice can feel herself getting taller. It doesn't hurt, but it feels weird. After she opens her eyes, she examines herself and then looks at Ashley. "It's like looking into a mirror," Alice jokes, using Ashley's voice "but the reflection is wearing different clothes." Alice then arranges her hair the same way Ashley has hers and sits in the same way. Turning to William, she asks "Is this ok?" A thought occurs to her and grinning, Alice asks William, "So, I can make myself taller whenever I want?"

William nods. "Yes, so long as you want to keep that form, you can. And, much like the others of us, you maintain that form at will."
William then gets a sneaky little grin. "OK. Here's what we do next. We play a little game."
He leans forward in his chair. "Trevor, I need you to go get Felicia. Only Felicia. The others don't need to see it yet. It might be a little more than they can handle."
Then, he turns to Ashley and Alice. "I want you to wait outside the room, out of view. When Felicia comes in, come in through different doors. Doesn't matter who, when, or which, just so long as it's only a few moments apart. Everyone got it?"
William stretches out on the chair again. Prepraring some mundane question about the progess of Eric and Michael.
