Alice looks quizically at Ashley and says "Ok." Standing up, she grins at the fact that the sun dress, which was almost at her ankles when she was at her original height, now fits very nicely. Turning to Ashley, she asks "Where would be the best place for us to go?"

'look like me? .. i don't think so. mine's black and claws .. ' *then stops and shifts the eyes sideways to watch tyler's reaction to that admission before carrying on 'and her's was dark blue and fangs .. nothing like me. bikes are too noisy, but i got your drift.' *stuffing the bags of clothing into the back of the truck so they won't spill out and get lost, gets into the cab and slumps in the seat.
'so .. now you know huh? .. ' *looking at the slender fingers with the semi pointed fingernails that gleam slightly. 'guess i should redo the nail polish huh? ..'
*then as the truck gets under way, leans forward to remove the skates and puts the worn sneakers on again, and then sits up after about three blocks have gone by. 'oh .. here's the change .. ' *handing back about 1/4 of the amount given to her. then points at a common Goodwill drop box* 'if we can stop off at a clothing drop, i can get more clothes for all of us, its all donated anyways'

Tyler ignores the money as Maria tried to give it back. " Stick it in your pocket. Never know when you might need a little cash and I know where it is if we need some. If your more comfortable getting your clothes that way I can stop, but it's unnecessary now. With the money Terri put up front and some good investments, we've got nothing to worry about."
He slammed on the brakes to avoid a jaywalker. " Hold it. She had fangs? Didn't you say Deth thought you had fangs? "
" Yeah I'll send her over." Trevor grumbled as he left. Ashley looked slightly unnerved. " I'll go this way. I need a drink anyways. Fel should come in the back door."
" Allright, point taken." Jason replied ." Now you're fast, but how good are the reaction times? Can you turn on a dime or do you need alot of room like I used to?" He glanced over as Trevor arrived and spoke to Felica, who scowled before heading towards the lodge. " Hey Fel, bring me Ty's old practice bag." As she nodded, he looked back at eric with a smirk " You're gonna love this."

With Alice and ashley out of the room, William looks up at Felicia as she walks in, and Trevor heads off on some errand. "So." He says casually, "How are Eric and Michael shaping up?"

Alice feels awkward as she stands beside Ashley. "This must be weird for you. I'm sorry for that." she says quietly. "This is all new and really creepy to me as well." Alice falls quiet as she thinks about what William had said earlier about her grandmother, and for the first time, starts to understand why it would have been so hard for her grandmother to cope with during the war. After a minute, she quietly asks Ashley, "What are we supposed to do?"

" Don't look so concerned, it's just some stuff Ty used to help me train before my accident. I used to be able to run fast too. You'll see." Jason grinned.
Michael's voice popped in Eric's head Why is it when people smile like that I think we're in trouble?
Felicia shrugged. " Well, I now know why they call Michael by the name Gremlin. I've seen his handywork before, he's good at taking down anything electronic, plus his tele-whatsitcalled makes him a good lookout if we need one. Eric on the other hand is fast. Jason plans to test it shortly." She patted the duffel bag with her lower hand from beneath her coat. " Was there anything else? I want to go talk to Trevor. I haven't seen him this ticked off in a while."
Ashley smirked. " No weirder than having bugs crawl under my skin, or turning into a demon bear whenever I lose my temper. This is just ... different is all. I think we're supposed to have some fun with Fel. I guess Will's gonna call when he wants us.

"Oh Ashley, can I see you in here a second?" William calls. He looks up at the fairly large Felicia. "Trevor's just upset because some old pyro can run him like a puppet. I feel for him. But it's a concern. If he's so easily manipulated, and I assure you I wasn't really goiong that way, he could be a potential problem in the future. Burden by the resentment of what he has become, and he lacks the benefit of being born with his powers, or knowing about them since chidhood."

Alice smirks and replies "I suppose." Alice looks down at herself and mutters "I just hope I can handle everything."
Upon hearing William call for Ashley, Alice sighs and says "Well, I guess we should see how effective this really is." Walking into the living room, Alice sits down on the couch in the way she saw Ashley do ealier, before she answers William, "That could be a problem. How do you suggest we fix it?"(rolled 33% for impersonation). Alice smiles up at Felicia as she waits for William to answer.

*at the suddden stop of movement, sparks finds herself on the floor of the truck. with a startled look at Ty, she thinks back to Deth's comment and shudders to herself. 'yeah, thats what he said. so he was after her and not me? .. oh, this is getting way to freaky for me now. so, we all done in town? .. not a lot i can do to help in the other place. my skills are for the city .. i think. anyways, i hope everythings okay with mikey and ashley. micheal seems to be the one everyone hates or distrusts. except for me, he listens and cares.
*getting herself back onto the seat of the truck, buckles up this time and starts scanning the immediate area for tails or that wierd lady from before. 'any idea who blue fangs was? .. or why she's so interested in me?' *stealing a look sideways to watch ty's face as he thinkis and drives.

"Trev's a good kid, he'll come around." Felicia replied to Alice, not noticing the difference.
" Did you call me Will?" Ashley asked, walking in the door with a glass of water.
Felicia did a wide eyed doubletake. " What in the hell is going on?" She asked, both pair of arms folded to her chest
" That's what seatbelts are for." Ty grinned. " I've got no idea who she was, but we'll have to find out. She might be the key to why the Brethren want you. I've only got one more stop before we head back to the lodge. I know you don't like it there much, but it's the safest place for the time being. And it'll take some time to build trust with Mikey. You didn't know him when he was one of Denial's goons."
He stayed in traffic until they reched the beachfront before parking at the end of a parking lot along the boardwalk. " There's another reason I brought you with.." He said as he reached into the back seat and brought oout a ratty pair of roller blades. " I wanted some backup and no one else can skate. Unless you'd sooner go back to the swamp and I bring Eric?" He said in a teasing tone.

William smiles softly at Felicia, as if the two Ashleys didn't come in. "It will be good when he does. He will be a formidable asset, esepcially when he understands his situation better."
Watching Felicia's reaction, William says "Very well, Alice. You've passed the first test, you can change back at your leisure. Just think about looking like yourself."
William appears not to have moved, even as he leans up to get the drink from the Ashley-Ashley.

Alice smiles, and can't help but feel pleased at Will's comments. She says in her own voice "It'll be nice to be me again." Looking over at Ashley, she adds "You're lovely, but I'm just used to being me." Closing her eyes, she thinks about what she looks like and she can feel herself changing back. Facing William, she asks "Are we going to be doing anything else? Or can I go and change back into my clothes now?"

Alice nods and leaves the room quietly. Getting her clothes from Ashley's room, she finds another room that doesn't look like it's being used and goes into that one. She changes into her own clothes and hangs up Ashley's dress in the closet. She opens a window and then lays down on the bed staring at the ceiling. She'd never imagined that she could do the things she'd just done, and found it all to be a little overwhelming. She lies on the bed quietly, trying to absorb the information before going back downstairs.
