Alice looks at William with a confused look on her face. "What do you mean," she asks "when you say you're going to teach all the skills..." she trails off as she starts to put the pieces together. Blushing furiously, she grabs her glass of water and drinks from it.

William stands upright, and turns to face Trevor. "And don't worry, you'll be getting the same treatment from me, lad." He says, with a dirty big grin. "This is, afterall, how I trained Tyler."

...o0( i'm an experiment? .. well that sheds new light onto what i am now .. but what c ould i have been before? .. i had a family, but what happened to all of them after i vanished? that worries me now )

" I can hardly wait, old man." trevor replied to Will snidely, which got him a shot to the ribs from Ashley's elbow.
After Sparks made her comment and left, Tyler spoke up. " The rest of you aren't getting off that easy. everyone else is going to working with me to learn how to function as a team. There's way too much freelancing going on here and someone is going to pay the price because of it. Not to worry though, as Will is so quick to remind me at every opportunity, he had a hand in my training so you won't be getting off easy. "
He stood up and motioned around the room. " In case no one has noticed, things out here are pretty basic. There's no TV or phone linesand your cell phones won't work so you might as well turn them off before you kill the batteries. If we really need to make a call, there is a satellite phone in the kitchen, and the only internet hookup we have is a wireless that works on that phone and it is painfully slow so don't bother looking for that to play with either. The power comes from a generator in the shed out back, which we'll have to try to keep the feul tank topped up. Luckily, what we do have is lots of room for everyone. There's five unclaimed rooms, the kitchen is top rate and there is a decent swimming hole behind the shed provided you check for gators before diving in, right Jas?"
Jason shook his head with a smirk before Ty continued. " There's also what's left of an old quarry about ten minutes walk down the road that is a good place to use your powers without having to set the swamp on fire or blowing the house up, not to mention it's fairly secluded so we don't have to worry about someone stumbling onto us. just take one of the two ways from the chargers out in the hallway with you if you go so everyone can stay in touch. In fact everyone should probably carry one anyways, just in case. I'll pick up a few more sets when I skip into town for supplies. If anyone needs anything, Felica knows this place as well as I do, and Jason practically grew up here too. Other than that, make yourselves at home. Try not to wreck the place." He got up, and gave Felica a kiss goodbye and started towards the door, pausing long enough speak with Will. " I'll be back in a few hours. I have to tie up a loose end after I pick up what we'll need. If I get in trouble, I'll call for the calvary." Then he headed outside.
On the porch, he fished his keys from his pocket and looked down at sparks, speaking in a much warmer tone than he'd used inside in his speech she'd been able to hear through the open windows. " C'mon, get in the truck. I need some company, and someone to push the cart." He grinned, ushering her to the Suburban. Once they were both in, he started the engine and headed back towards the city.
" Well, with Ty gone I guess it's up to me to fill in for him." Felicia sighed, looking at Eric and Michael. " Jason, you want to help me put these two to the test so we can see what they can do?"
" Uh, yeah, sure." Jason hesitated as he replied, glancing at Alice before rolling his chair after Felicia lead towards the back yard, shooing Eric and Mikey that way, leaving will alone with his chosen three alone in the room.
" Let the fun begin. " Trevor sighed, earning him another elbow from Ashley which he managed to block this time.

William slumps down into a chair. "First things first. Ashley, move 5 feet from Trevor."
Stretching out his legs, and putting his hands on his stomach, he says. "There are two kinds of powers we all have. Those we can use at a whim, and those we cannot. It's all well and good to know which is which. But, what I will do is help you three to increase the number of the former, and reduce the latter. One at a time though, please. Alice?"

Alice glances at jason as he follows Felicia, part of her wishing he would stay. The rest of her, however, is glad he wasn't as she was self conscious about her powers as it was.
Paling, Alice asks "Me? I have to go first?" Taking a deep breath, she stands in front of Will and says "What am I supposed to do?"

"Just think, and tell me what you know you can do for super powers on a whim, and what you know, or at least believe, you can do in a crisis. For example, I know I can fly, and have all kinds of fun with fire, as you've seen. And I believe that I could probably go nova if it came to it. Saw it happen to another guy, and he was fairly similar. Mind you, there was nothing left of him."
William opens his eyes and turns his head to Alice. "So, speak."

Alice blinks and replies "Um... well, like I told you before, I can change my eye colour and my hair colour, it would appear. I'm not entirely sure how I do it, but I've noticed that it seems to happen after I picture it in my head." She points to her hair, "After you suggested the red hightlights, I wondered how it would look and then *poof*" she makes the motion with her hands "it just happened."
Pausing, she adds "There's been a couple of times, when I was really scared that I've pushed things far away. I don't really understand how. I feel this pressure and then I kinda pushed it out and it was like it hit what was in front of me. I've also noticed when that happens I can't keep my eyes brown. They change back to the colour they really are now. It's like I can't do both at once." Alice shrugs "I don't know. That's it, I think."

'push the cart? .. okay .. ' *then shakes the head as she stands up to follow and gets a better hold of the torn pants and then reties the shirt so that its holding the fabric together and not herself*
'sorry about being .. how you say, a bummer in there. but i figured they needed to know what was happening to me in the alley and at the house. its maria, not that anyone will care too much. sparks is what i do so i guess thats it' *then goes silent as the vehicle moves along and then comments 'so where too and why now?

As Eric walks out side next to Mike and asks "So what do you want me to show you?" Eric points to Mike "He can talk in our heads.... I can run fast.... What else is there?" Eric waits to see what Jason and Felicia have in mind

" Don't feed me that Eric, you must be able to do more than just run fast." Jason baited as Felicia was obviously in the midst of a telepathicic conversation with Michael. " We could get a greyhound to replace you if thats all you bring to the table, and the dog would be quieter.
Ashley stood up and walked acrossed the room as directed by Wil. Trevor grinned, rubbing his ribs gingerly. " And no throwing stuff at me just because you can't reach." Ashley smirked, but didn't respond.
" Don't worry about it." Tyler replied glancing over at sparks. " They would have found out sooner or later anyways. We're headed back into the city to do a little shopping. I've got enough food for a day or two, but thats it with that many people around. Plus I figured you'd be the first to go stir crazy in the middle of nowheres, unless you'd sooner stay, I can turn back." He grinned as they drove on.
He drove to the outskirts of town to an outlet mall near the Interstate. Finding a parking spot, he handed her a two way radio along with some money. " I'll be on channel 14. I've gotta find some clothes for Eric and Mikey, see what you can find for you and Alice. Oh, and there's a sale on inline skates at the sports store. " He grinned as he turned at started to walk up the mall. " If you can't get me on the radio, meet me at the truck in about half an hour or so."

"Honestly thats about it, oh and I'd put a greyhound to shame. I honestly think I could break the sound barrier if I tried to fun fast enough." Eric still has no idea of what Jason considers "powers"
OOC Eric considers his other "powers" as something natural and just thinks he better then other people at those things. Like fighting, he considers himself a good fighter, but doesn't think its a power.

'a sale on skates? .. way cool. channel 14 or at the truck, gotcha .. ' *then slips out of the truck and closes the door behind her and within moments, seems to vanish behind another vehicle and joins a bunch of other teens heading inside to cover her strange looks.
*once inside, moves first to look at the various skates on sale and buys them first before heading to the discount clothing store to pick up some basics for alice and herself.
*knowing that her time is precious and wanting to try the skates out, exits the mall and changes into them and 'plays' in the parking lot, much like freelance boarders were doing. not taking part in the crazy airgrabbing manouvers, bides her time rolling about doing the basic cross-overs and then the basic moves from front to back and back again. to the casual onlooker, she seems to be having the time of her life as she moves about, but is in fact, keeping an eye out for 'strange actions' of any possible agents or other hunters. the radio near at hand in case its necessary to let tyler know about it.
