Isamu looks at Trevor and then Long appraisingly and then says, "that is good enough for me. As far as I am concerned the matter is closed," then looking at Trevor, "now we need to get evidence to settle the matter for the authroities."
Isamu reaches into a pocket and pulls out a set of agent credentials he had pocketed before leaving the control room. He hands them to Trevor and says, "your credentials. Since you never officially quit when you took your leave I you are still an agent. It was how I was able to convince Patriot to allow us to intervene and come to your aid."
Pausing and dropping the stoic solemn expression he has had since arriving he puts a hand on Trevor's shoulder comfortingly and says, "I am truly sorry for what happened to Allyson. I know how you must feel, as I do not know how I would respond if something similar happened to Ashley. You have my word, we will not rest until we bring the truth to surface. However we have to do things the correct way. I would like to return to the house and plan our next move from there."

"Wait. There is still this briefcase that was left on the stoop just before you came. We have not opened it yet. I hope it is good news."
Long puts the briefcase flat on the counter.
"Would anyone like to check for booby-traps?"

Trevor took the credentials, and gave Isamu an upset nod," thanks Is. Long here kept me going and didn't let me break down or do anything stupid and get caught."
"I'll check the case before I check Trevor's head. Wait, did you say Panek?" Avi asked.

"Yeah. After the house burnt down Raig and Panek found out that they were no longer useful to the Brethren. They were trying to get out of town to avoid being a 'loose end that needs to be tied up'. Raig disappeared. That plus Allison's death has turned him against the Brethren. However, I still do not trust him. Anyways, we are going to help him find his brother. And then they are both going to jail."

"Wonderful." Avi rolled his eyes as he took the case to the coffee table and began to examine it.
Trevor looked at Isamu," You do beleive I didn't do it, right?"

Isamu raises an eyebrow and looks at Trevor, "if I did not believe you, do you think this meeting would be going this well? Trevor, I do not believe you would ever do anything to harm Allyson, nor the police. Had it been dead members of the Brethren, I would have a harder time believing you. Though that is more likely due to how I feel about them," he offers a smirk at his statement.
He looks over at Avery, "any idea what we have Avery?"

"Give me a minute." Avi replied, studying the case.
Trevor nodded. " That's good to know, Is. So, where do we start looking for Raig?" He looked at Long," Think we can get any more info out of Panek?"

To Avi, "The guy that dropped it off did not look like a thug or anything. He was just a guy in a suit. Until I noticed the briefcase he left on the stoop I though he was just a door-to-door salesman."

Isamu rubs his chin and thinks for a moment his gaze locked on the case, "let me understand this. You both along with Panek are on the run from both law enforcement, and the Brethren, a gang that we know has no trouble killing to reach its goals, and then a man in a suit stops at the door of the safe house you are using and leaves a briefcase outside. Not knowing what it is, you bring it inside?"
After a short pause to allow the others to follow his train of thought he asks, "Avery, what are the chances it contains explosives?"

"I could not leave it outside. I figured it would grab more attention if I did not. Besides if it did contain a bomb it would have blown us all up anyways. I wanted a chance to defuse it."

"I'm pretty sure it's not a bomb." Avi said assuredly as he carefully opened the case. Pausing, he added," No, not a bomb, but we gotta move." He held up the listening device built into the case while ripping out the transmitter. " Hi tech gear, probably FBI, and they've heard everything we've said. Tac teams will be on the way if not set up already."

He says to Trevor, "you knew of this place, is there another way out? We need to go."
