" Not as fast as I used to." Jason replied with a scowl, looking back to see the cops starting down the fire escape. " Can either of you drive? I'll lure them away. You two take the car and meet me a few blocks down unless someone has a better idea."
[Sparks]
I didn't say I didn't like it Sparks could almost see Michael's grin in the dark. Suddenly, the pair were blinded momentarily as their eyes adjusted to the beam of Michael's flashlight This better? He asked as he shone it around the old sewer chamber.

Alice nods at Jason and replies "I can drive." Jason hands her the keys, and she tries to smile, but can't completely hid the worry on her face. "We'll meet you in a few minutes. Be careful, ok?"
Turning to Eric, she says "C'mon kid, let's go."

"You don't have to tell me twice!" Eric says as he heads to the car and hops in the passanger seat. As Al gets in Eric says "So I take it we're heading back? Oh, and sorry abotu you place. I'm sure it'll get ransacked like mine did. I hope you got what you needed."

Alice throws her bags into the back, and gets into the drivers seat and starts the car after quickly adjusting the seat so she can reach the peddles. She starts the car, and says "Yeah, we're going a few blocks to pick up Jason and then heading back to where everyone else is."
She falls silent, as she thinks about Eric's last statement abou getting everything she needed from her flat. She realizes that she can't go back there anytime soon, a fact that makes her a little sad. She drives for a few minutes and adds "Unlock the back door will you? When we see Jason, he can just hop into the back seat and we can take off faster."

Eric looks over to his side console and pushes the "unlock" button on the automatic doors and looks back at Al with a smirk. "Okay," As they start driving Eric looks back at Al. "Hey I'm a lot faaster then this car and I'm sure I can make better timing then you circling the block. Do you want me to find him then I can call you. I promise I'll be quick and it will only take a second. And don't worry I can hold my own against the best of them" *I hope* Eric starts to get out of the car. "If you find him before I do just call me and I'll meet you at the "Pad"

' *turning the face away as the light breaks the midnight black inkyness with its light and blinks back the tears of shock* 'jeez .. thats a bright light .. brighter than the one i had' .. *then adds quietly* -= i thought you were dying .. and it was cold .. still is .. and i .. i didn't wanna loose you too =-
*then takes the opportunity to look about* 'makes you wonder just who has been down here bugging Ragnobic .. or whatever he called himself. sorry .. ' *as she misspeaks the name from the traces of fear that still linger* 'okay .. so .. we seem to be stuck down here. therefore .. i guess we have to move about down here until a way up is shown. still makes you wonder if the agents that got ashley used the tunnels at all?' *voice filled with wonder as she looks about and then realizes that her voice is still echoing in the chamber* 'jeez .. still sorta spooky down here. well lets follow the wall here andhope it leads to an exit, cause i really don't know how toget up there. i can blow stuff up, but i cant walk on water .. be kinda cool if i could, but i can't .. so .. lets go this way' *grabbing a hold of Michael's hand and heads off along the wall on the left*
-= they said that in the mazes, if you followed one wall you'ld find your way out .. this way i'll know where i am and how many steps it takes. its how ilearned the bootleggers tunnels so well =-

Alice thinks it over for a second, and then pulls over, parking the car. Turning to Eric, she replies "Ok, but I want you back here in 5 minutes whether or not you find Jason. If you're not back by then, I'm calling you on your cell phone. Got it?"

Finding no other signs of pursuit , Will made his way to the front door, only to be met by Trevor. His face showing a bit of concern, the teen asked. " Have you seen sparks or Gremlin? They've disappeared. Ty wants me to go look for them." He makes his way past, a puzzled look on his face as he tries to decide where to start.
[Sparks]
We could follow the water Michael's suggestion popped in her head it has to lead down to the bay eventually. And I'm sorry I scared you. Sometimes when I whack my head, it takes a while to get anyone to hear me again.
He grinned slightly as Sparks took his hand You think walking on water would be neat? I'd be happy just to be able to hear my own echo off these walls
[Eric/ Alice]
As Eric began to get out of the car, the sounds of a scuffle down the block drew their attention. Jason rounded the corner, ducking at the sound of shots over his head. He waved frantically before glancing over his shoulder. He turned back and shouted" GO! GET AHEAD OF ME!" as he turned and crossed the street and headed down an alley. Three police officers emerged from where he'd come, but paid no attention as they pursued Jason.

William turns trevor around and back inside. "Maria is not one to be on open streets in the middle of the day. And, if she's taken by Michael, doubly so. What are the alley and alternate entrances and exits?"

Alice yells at Eric "Get back in the car now!" She leans over and grabbing the collar of his shirt, pulls him back in the car causing him to close the door as he's pulled back inside. She slams on the gas peddle getting out of there as quickly as she can. She slows back down to the speed limit so she won't get pulled over and finds her hands are shaking like crazy. 'Calm yourself, girl, she thinks 'Get through this now, fall apart later'

"Okaaahhhh" Eric says as he gets pulled inside by his collar. As they start speeding off Eric starts yelling out dirrections as the chase goes on "Turn left here! Pass theses cars!"

'why follow the water? .. water runs dow ... ooooh .. right. good thinking. glad you're here, cause i woulda been walking about for a long time down here otherwise' .. *then glances back at Michael and smiles .. the tension melting off her from the physical contact of his hand.
'its weird not hereing your voice, but thats cool tho. this way no one can tell if you're talking behind your back. you get privacy for everything, unless someone's dense and keeps talking .. oh .. think i'm more scared than normal. i can't shut up now' *then snickers a bit, which due to the strange circumstances they're in shortly becomes a case of giggles*
'sorry .. still tense i guess. oooh .. yuck .. another pool. *pauses to look it over and then at the walls about them* 'still no way out this way .. well .. if it comes to swimming. can you ? ' *looking back at Michael now* 'cause if you can't i'll do my best to get us across, i did take .. i know how to swim .. but you know ... with it being so spooky like this, here's hoping that Ragnarok is the only one down here. he seemed kinda ticked when we kinda dropped in on him. this is 'his turf' .. makes you wonder who was there before us .. oh .. guess i should keep my thoughts to myself again' *stands and gives the occasional shiver from the cold wet clothes she's wearing, while waiting for a reply as to wether or not Michael can swim*

Trevor glared at Will, his tone sardonic. " If I knew that, I wouldn't be going out the front door, old man. All I know is they split without saying anything sometime after JAson left with the little guy and the english chick. So unless you got a better idea, I'm gonna start looking if it's okay with you."

As the pair tried to watch for Jason down the side streets and alleys, neither of them noticed the patrol car sneak up behind them until it's lights came on. At the same time Alice looked in the rearview, Jason appeared on the corner two blocks down the street.
[Sparks]
It's not as cool as you think. Try calling in a take out order this way. Michael replied, sticking close as they stoode at the edge of the pool. I can swim, I just hope what they say about gators in the sewer is n't true. I never heard of this Ragnawhatever guy before. No one in the Brethren ever mentioned him and Denial was supposedly away looking for new recruits.
